Hotels in Chenggong New District, Kunming

Our family of four (two adults and two children) stayed one night at Hampton by Hilton Kunming South Station. The location was incredibly convenient, as it offered easy access to Kunming South Railway Station, which was our main reason for choosing this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out seamless. Although we only stayed for one night, the amenities provided met our needs perfectly. Overall, Hampton by Hilton Kunming South Station is a great choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience near the railway station.

The room is spacious and clean, the service is warm and thoughtful, the hotel is very close to the subway station, there are many restaurants around, and it is next to Wanda Plaza. The room is also very soundproof. I will stay here again next time. I really recommend it, especially the lady at the front desk who was very enthusiastic in guiding us to park and help with our luggage, and reminded us to bring thick clothes. Thank you very much, I highly recommend it❤❤

The location is good, pick up upon arrival worked good. The room is modern and clean. The washing mashine and drier are also free and modern. The staff at the reception is also very kind and helpful. The hotel is in a huge building, but they occupe only the floors 25-26-27. This huge building has only 3 elevators and we needed always extra long time to go down or up (like 5-10 min.). Because this reason we arrived at 8:02 down to the reception and saw that the minivan left without us and we needed to call a taxi by our costs.

Children especially like this room, it’s so fun and looks like a hammock. The room is large, has a wide view, and is very clean. The intelligent voice-controlled lights and curtains responded to my call at the drop of a hat. My kids almost yelled at me 😂. There is also afternoon tea at the front desk, with various teas and snacks available for eating and drinking. The young lady is also very enthusiastic, gentle and caring. Pick-up at the high-speed rail station: When we checked out, they called a car and took us to the high-speed rail station for free. This check-in experience was very nice.

A relatively new hotel. Perfect for a overnight stay for people rushing to the high speed the next morning. Room was big and comfortable. We booked for the non smoking level but there is an ashtray on the living room table and u can smell cigarette smoke along corridor. Really wished this country makes more effort in advocating for non smoking despite signs beinf put up. We managed to search for a little night market, Shilin night market about 10 mins taxi ride away from the hotel. Maybe hotel can provide more information about places around for tourists. It is also a short walking distance to the metro which is linked to high speed as well. Managed to book the free pick up from high speed to hotel however the next day's hotel to high speed is already fully booked. We also didn't managed to have breakfast due to timing of our high speed.

The room was clean and the aunt was very kind and kind. There were a lot of food near the hotel. Although I stayed for one night, the experience was very good. I forgot to take photos. It is worth living! I wish the boss a prosperous business 🎊 (There is a picture taken at the hotel hahahaha The second one is the nearby Yunnan cuisine and the third one is the sunset in Kunming)

The parking lot is super large and parking is very convenient. The hotel is next to a school. The environment is quiet, clean and sanitary. The bedding is comfortable. It would be better if breakfast could be served until 10 o'clock.

The room is very clean, Kunming South can be free of charge, the facilities in the house are very detailed, earplugs, laundry detergent, hanging ironing machine are prepared, it can be seen that the boss is quite careful, the breakfast is also very delicious, the overall stay is very comfortable, the price is very high

I am very satisfied with this stay! From booking to check-in, the whole process was very smooth. The service of Xiao Li at the front desk was good. The hotel environment is very warm and comfortable. The room is clean and tidy, and the layout is very tasteful. The design is thoughtful in every detail. The location is also very convenient. It is very close to Kunming South Railway Station and the transportation is also very convenient. Xiao Li at the front desk is enthusiastic and professional, and the introduction is detailed. The cleaning is serious and responsible, and the room is always kept clean.

We were on holiday. A lot of food choices nearby are just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. At night time lots of teenagers around the area and they are from the University just opposite the hotel. The location is not in the city. Need to walk at least 30 minutes to the subway station.
