Lastly, if you want to experience the quiet feeling and old atmosphere of Kyoto, I recommend this place.

The location is close to the metro, the room is small, a bit cramped for three people, quite clean. I didn't like that the bed was opposite the air conditioner, which blew right in my face and my throat hurt in the morning. The breakfast of 2 options (Western/Japanese style) was a tad bit too salty for our liking. We had the chance to utilise the roof top onsen, and which was quite a refreshing experience. The location is 10/15mins away from the nearest train station, so not very convenient when we were pushing our luggages to the hotel.
