Although our booking dated back six months earlier and, as she confirmed, we had booked first, the owner did not want to inconvenience the guests and preferred to create inconvenience only for myself. The owner worked to find a solution in a relative's facility. However, it meant that for two nights we were accommodated in a room equal to the one booked (large with kitchen), but for the remaining two we would have had to move to a smaller room without a kitchen. We accepted as we had no alternatives and were convinced that the room downgrade would be taken into consideration in the bill. Alas, the bill we were presented with was the same as the initial one. It was of no use raising the issue to the owner, who arrogantly ordered us to pay the entire sum without discussing it since, according to her, "overbooking problems are commonplace and not that serious", nor did we contact the service. booking customers. It's a guesthouse and not a hotel. But a really great one. Instead of a room, you get an apar**ent with a small terrace, living room, kitchen and bedroom. The bathroom is also top notch. Everything is super clean. Set in a very beautiful garden. The hostess is very helpful. Maybe a little cautious when asking for tips for tours. You can rent bikes for 100 rupees a day. The Belle des Iles is a little out of the way. The advantage is that it is absolutely quiet. There is no disadvantage, as the sea is only 5 minutes away by bike. Oh, and there is also a good breakfast with fresh juice.
