The location felt a bit inconvenient to me. While it’s relatively close to some attractions, it’s still a bit of a walk to the Free Tram Zone, which makes it less ideal if you don’t want to rely on Uber. For travelers, buying a Myki card just to take trams or buses didn’t feel very worthwhile either. In terms of price, cleanliness, and overall vibe, the hotel was pretty good. The lobby and common areas had a modern, stylish feel, and the room itself was kept clean. However, in my room there was a large door next to the bed that couldn’t be opened, but I could still feel the draft and hear quite a lot of wind noise coming through. The room size was surprisingly small for the price point. I was a bit shocked at how compact it was when I first walked in. The bathroom and shower area also seemed poorly designed—if you opened the doors the wrong way, they could easily hit each other, which didn’t feel very safe. I didn’t use the parking or breakfast options, so I can’t comment on those. Overall, it’s a decent place for a short stay, but if you’re looking for spacious rooms or a super convenient location, it might fall short.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stayed in Oakwood Premier Hotel. The receptionist guy on Friday Morning, 10th Jan, was super nice, friendly and kind. He changed our room facing the city view. We went straight to the hotel after we arrive in Melbourne to put our luggage in their luggage storage because the check in start at 3pm. However, our room were already ready, so we managed to get some sleep and rest. The bed is so comfortable and we got a amazing view! So I really enjoyed our stay there for the whole time! What a great first travel experience in Melbourne! Surely, we will be back!

This is my 4th times staying at this hotel. This time I got room 2207 for 4 nights and continue with 1206 for 10 nights. 2207 has a very nice view. I got the sunrise view on my first morning. I love staying in this hotel because it’s very near to my son’s apartment, walking distance to Crown Casino area, and near to the tram stop. Very convenient. The front desk staff also very friendly and helpful. The only inconsistent thing is the cleaning service. Sometimes they forgot to replace the bathroom mat, forgot to clean the bathroom floor, forgot to throw away the garbage and forgot to refill the tea and coffee. I got one hot chocolate drink that already expired.

Great
Quay West Suites is centrally located in the city, easy to get around, many restaurants & shops nearby. We got a room at 21/F with stunning city view, the room facing to railway but it is very quiet we cannot hear any noisy traffics. Although we booked serviced apartment, Quay West Suites provides hotel service such as breakfast, daily housekeeping. It is a perfect choice for tourist, I would recommend it.
It is a really good 💯 experience in this apartment, quiet, clean, near Flinder street, easy access to the train station, in the middle of the free tram zone. The best part is with a gorgeous city view, especially the sunrise view, it will melt your heart and make your day.
Great sized room in ideal location. We stayed in a doublke queen room which was clean and tidy. The pool is great and the cafe service next to it was a bonus. The staff are very helpful always with a smile.
Service was fabulous. Leslie was absolutely wonderful to deal with, a joy. The apartment was a great layout with everything you need for a short stay. Although the hotel room was starting to look tired and there was an overwhelming odour in rooms & hallways of curry, everything was neat and tidy. Thank you for our stay.
The brand new hotel has a fantastic environment and excellent service! They were incredibly thoughtful and attentive, even providing a complimentary hotel-exclusive toe bag.
The Mantra Southbank was in a great location, especially for Arts lovers. Room was clean and spacious. Front of house staff, polite and friendly. Pool is great!
Great location, friendly staff. Bed was really comfortable and great water pressure in shower. I received an upgrade when I checked in and had great views. 5 min walk to South Bank promenade. Will definitely stay here again.
Good location. 5 minutes walk to tram no. 58 towards city or Toorak. Opposite Woolworths. Clean 3 bedroom apartment in Epic building. Key pick up is far to walk at a convenience store in City Road. Enquiry staff very helpful and professional. We used car and had free parking. Apartment pantry was well stocked with condiments. Will stay again.
