We stayed at Porter House Hotel after our 2026 New Year’s Eve Countdown Celebration in Sydney. This hotel is located near the shopping area and we were able to use it as a base to do shopping. Highly recommended for travellers to bargain-hunt! Also centrally located with lots of good restaurants and taking the harbour ferry at Circular Quays! We went to Cockatoo Island by ferry and it was good fun!

Great accommodation with great location! Clean room and facilities and can get to meet a lot of people. Remember to bring your own toiletries and towel as it won’t be provided. And also a pad lock in order to use the temporary locker before you check in/ after you check out so you can explore the city freely!

W Sydney

W Sydney is the best hotel among the all I have visited in Australia so far. Almost everything is perfect, food, services, location, facilities, swimming pools, all of them! If I have to pick one thing which is not excellent, is that the previous customer left some finger prints on the TV that wasn't being and some dust in air you can see while turning on the lights in the walk-in.  Otherwise, best in the best!

I love to staying here because of the location, environment, near darling square, paddys market, and kids stay for free. Room Our room has been upgraded to deluxe i think, the bed is queen size, has a bathtub. They offer the cleaning service without any charge. Breakfast Breaksfast are really help when u stay here, because everything is like 17$ above quite expensive. The breakfast consist of scrambled egg, hard boiled egg, any kind of bread, mushroom, sausages, bacon, one asian dish like mie goreng, hashbrown, coffee, tea, milk, yoghurt, fruits, chia pudding, salad, cereals, so complete for simple bfast. The minus only the bed, it is not comfy, maybe they should change the pillow or bed ?

Maze Backpackers - Sydney

8.1/10

It is hard to find a backpacker hostel in Sydney available for middle age people. I appreciate this hostel for accepting me. The hostel is really super big, as the same, like a maze. The only drawback isthere is no aircon. As summer it is not comfortable. I see all the roommate wear only the bottom. They prepare the bed for me. This is also nice.

The Langham, Sydney

7.8/10
Good
Guest User
We had a brilliant experience at the Langham for our wedding anniversary! I forgot how much I like the Langham brand. From the pink ribbon around the toilet paper to the sleep ammenities (we asked for the sleep pillow mist and the room diffuser) to the suggested third eye massage technique and the chamomile tea before bedtime, we felt totally pampered and taken care of. Reservation was made for our celebratory dinner with fine steak dinner over the fantastic view of the Opera House. In room breakfast was delivered on time and the quantity copious. The Spanish bell boy was helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded to a harbour view room to our delight. Location was convenient to walk either to Barangaroo or the Rocks, for ferry ride or metro. Very pleased to have chosen The Langham, it was absolutely the right decision for us!

Burwood Family Guest Home

Guest User
Perfect stay in the heart of Burwood! The location can’t be beaten—walking distance to Westfield Mall, Burwood Park, and countless Asian eateries. The guesthouse has a charming historic vibe with polished wooden floors, plus modern perks like free WiFi and a coin-operated laundry. The host was super friendly and helped us store luggage after check-out.
