The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us moved the luggage from the drop off point to the hotel and booked a ferry service for my family. The hotel was very tastefully designed and the bed was very comfortable. The only drawback was the lack of clothes hook in the bathroom for you to hang clothes when you bath. The local breakfast set was very big in portion and tasty. The hotel is located on a little island that is linked to the main land by a small bridge. The whole shuanglang gu zhen is very busy and lots of shops to walk around.

The hotel offers very good hosts who go the extra mile to assist, stunning views from the rooms, and excellent amenities, making for an overall wonderful stay.

We loved our stay very much. The hotel room was spacious with a beautiful TV set up. It is 10 minutes DIDI ride away from the Erhai Lake and the old town. We highly recommend here if you are looking for a laid back holiday.

Our stay of 6 pax with 3 bedrooms was amazing! A bit tricky going to the place for the first time as we had to get our Didi driver to contact with the place for the exact location. However, they allowed us for early checkins, assisted to show our room, the location is an easy access for Didi drivers, and the view from the homestay was breathtaking. Wish we could stay longer!

My stayed at Yuntang Luxury Resort Hotel in Dali was fantastic. The hotel is located right in the heart of the ancient town, which makes it very convenient. The room was big, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was soft, and everything looked nice. The staff were friendly and helped me with anything I needed. The hotel is close to Erhai Gate and good places to eat. I had a quiet and relaxing time. I would love to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain Resort Hotel close to Dali Old Town. The room was clean, and quiet and provided everything we could ask for. The staff welcomed us wholeheartedly and was always happy to help! Booking a shuttle to Dali Trains station was also very easy via the front desk. The breakfast was also delicious! While we stayed there, it consisted of a soup, porridge, sweet potatoes, maize and a boiled egg, as well as pickles on the side. Thank you very much for the pleasant experience!

The scenery is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious~ The service is also very good, and the room is huge!!! Exquisite afternoon tea for two: There is coffee and juice, and there are several kinds of cakes to choose from. Love it, I will come back next time~

This newly opened Hilton is incredibly close to the airport, and you can walk to Xingsheng Bridge to see Erhai Lake in just 10 minutes, making its city location extremely convenient. You can tell the hotel's decor is top-notch; the lobby is spacious and grand, the color scheme is pleasing, and the rooms are tidy with quality materials. Even though it's new, there was barely any lingering smell in the room, which was very reassuring. We actually arrived two days earlier, and to our surprise, we happened to see Guo Yuxin and Wang Haozhen, lead actors from Hongguo Short Drama, filming in the hotel lobby. Looks like this Hilton has some serious clout!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dali Ancient Town Meishan Guesthouse, and it exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Location – unbeatable and worry-free The location is extremely convenient, right in the heart of Dali Ancient Town. As soon as you step outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful ancient streets and alleys, full of local character. 2-3 mins walk away from the Bars. Attractions, cafes, shops, and amazing food are all within walking distance, which made exploring incredibly easy and stress-free. From check-in to check-out, the entire stay felt completely worry-free. Service – warm, genuine, and unforgettable The biggest highlight of this guesthouse is without a doubt the host. The lady boss is unbelievably friendly, considerate, and welcoming. She is super nice, enthusiastic, and very meticulous in everything she does. From contacting me in advance, patiently explaining routes, to sharing travel tips and local suggestions, she made me feel taken care of even before I arrived. Staying here truly felt like coming home rather than staying at a guesthouse. What made this stay truly special was the personal connection. She even invited me to join a barbecue with her and her friends. We had drinks, chatted late into the night, and shared stories about our cultures, life views, and experiences. Even though I only stayed for two nights, that evening made my time in Dali unforgettable. I felt incredibly lucky to have arrived back just in time for the barbecue. The Bai Jiu, the Yi Zu-style barbecue pork, and the homemade dumplings she made were all fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and full of laughter. Even small details were fun, like the pot cover shaped like the Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy, which gave us a good laugh. It was one of those nights you don’t plan for, but it’s the highlight of the trip that you will remember for a long time. 😎 Room & Sleep Quality – quiet, comfortable, and well designed The room itself was quiet and very comfortable, with good sound insulation and a thoughtful renovation design that blends modern comfort with traditional charm. The bedding was clean and high quality, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped. I slept extremely well every night. The entire guesthouse is beautifully designed, cozy, and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. Value – exquisite and worth every penny This is a highly cost-effective and exquisite accommodation. You can see the attention to detail everywhere, from the design to the service. It perfectly balances the charm of the ancient town with modern convenience. It’s absolutely worth experiencing, and I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip. Final thoughts I returned home a few days ago, but when I think back on my trip to Yunnan, Dali still stands out as the most chill and relaxing place and Meishan Guesthouse is a big reason why. The friendly host, the warm atmosphere, and the meaningful conversations made this stay truly special. If I could give 11 stars, I would. Hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Highly, highly recommended. Will definitely be back!!!

Its best place in Dali ever, kind and helpful stuff. I highly recommended it if you want to enjoining in every moment of your trip, they bring the photographer to my room to take shots as free, I am sure I will back again here
