PPipajiKicking off our spring break, we headed south through Guilin, Yangshuo, Nanning, and Beihai. Yangshuo Wangjianglou Inn was by far the most comfortable and convenient place we stayed. The inn's design and layout exceeded my expectations; the quality was truly impressive. Given the limitations of the building itself, they ingeniously installed a luggage elevator, which was incredibly thoughtful for both guests and staff – big thumbs up! Yangshuo county is quite small, so there's really no need to stay directly in the scenic area (it's inconvenient, overpriced, and you'd need taxis for meals and transportation, adding to costs). Staying in the West Street commercial district was a very smart decision. We stayed and ate at Wangjianglou (for those who know, their restaurant is a super popular, must-try spot in Yangshuo with long queues!). As a guest, you don't have to wait; the front desk concierge helps with reservations directly, and you even get a 10% discount on meals, which is a fantastic deal. I'm already planning to bring my family back after May Day and will definitely be staying at Wangjianglou again!

Choosing the right accommodation truly elevated our Yangshuo trip, and the Yangshuo Xishi Jinshe (Shili Gallery Yulong River Store) is a divine hotel nestled amidst the mountains and rivers. Our experience was absolutely perfect from start to finish – I wholeheartedly recommend it!
Before I dive into the review, I have to praise the service. It was thoughtful, warm, attentive, and considerate throughout our stay, making us feel incredibly cherished. 🥰
The hotel's location is absolutely stunning, right by the Qinglong Bridge on the Yulong River. From the large floor-to-ceiling window next to our bed, we had direct views of the continuous karst peaks and the gently flowing Yulong River, with bamboo rafts slowly drifting by our window. Every glance offered a picturesque, ink-wash painting-like scene. The design is simple yet sophisticated, blending perfectly with the natural landscape. The super-large floor-to-ceiling windows, courtyard lawn, and the rooftop 'sky mirror' all provided perfect photo opportunities. The environment is serene and peaceful, completely away from the hustle and bustle, creating an incredibly immersive atmosphere.
I must commend the service again; it was exceptionally thoughtful, offering full butler-style service. Every front desk staff member was enthusiastic and meticulous, always ready to assist with any questions. The attention to detail was impeccable, making the entire experience relaxing and heartwarming. We initially booked for only two nights, planning to try another hotel for a different view, but we were so touched by the service that we extended our stay for another two nights. The service was truly exceptional.
The downstairs restaurant exceeded our expectations. The ingredients were fresh and authentic. The Guilin rice noodles, beer fish, and braised chicken 🐓 were all delicious, and the eggplant 🍆 and green beans were incredibly fragrant. We had dinner there four times in a row, and each meal was satisfying and enjoyable; our whole family loved the food.
The hotel's infinity pool offers direct views of the beautiful mountains and rivers. Our children spent several afternoons playing there. The area around the pool is comfortable and well-equipped, allowing adults to relax and enjoy the scenery while the kids have fun.
It was a truly healing and immersive experience amidst the mountains and rivers. The environment, service, dining, and facilities were all top-notch. Whether for a relaxing getaway or a family trip, this is definitely a treasure choice for a stay in Yangshuo!

KKeira99Having worked in the service industry myself, I can honestly say that after traveling for 9 days from Nanning, this guesthouse offered the best service I've experienced so far. The owner must have worked in the service industry in a big city because the attention to detail is superb. For example, we left our own fruit on the table, and the next day, housekeeping had thoughtfully arranged it on a glass plate and covered it with cling film. The breakfast was also delicious, with Western options available (which the kids loved).

GGuest UserOur overall stay was excellent. We had a ground-floor room with a small courtyard, and all the facilities inside were well-equipped and very convenient. The view from the room was expansive, with beautiful surrounding landscapes and scenery, and the courtyard environment was quiet and comfortable.
The owner's service was also very thoughtful. They were friendly and approachable, actively asked for our feedback on our stay, enthusiastically recommended authentic local cuisine, and meticulously shared practical travel routes.
The complimentary travel photoshoot was something we just wanted to try, but to our surprise, it was very efficient and the results were fantastic. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay, a truly wonderful accommodation experience.

BBeizhuyixiabaThe location is excellent, very close to the 20-yuan Lijiang River scenic pier. The environment is clean and tidy, and the room is very spacious. The service attitude is superb. I booked for two nights and was supposed to check out by 12 PM on the third day. However, on the second night, my child was hit by a car and transferred to Guilin Hospital. It wasn't until the evening of the third day that my husband had time to go check out and pack our luggage. The owner kept the room for us and didn't rush us to check out at all. The owner is a truly compassionate person; they repeatedly inquired about my child's condition, didn't charge us for the late checkout, and even gave my child a red envelope. For this booking, the owner truly went above and beyond, practically losing money. Such big-hearted owners are truly rare. I wish the owner a prosperous business and abundant wealth. Thank you for your immense kindness.

What truly blew me away was the unique tranquility amidst the bustling city. Downstairs, West Street is buzzing with lively energy, but inside the room, it's incredibly quiet. JJinwoo sungA truly amazing stay! Living here felt like stepping into a painting - the location offers a fantastic view in the midst of the Karst mountains and is right next to 遇龙河. It was very convenient to go rafting down the river and a short driver away from 西街. The amenities are fantastic - everyday there's complement noodle breakfast and the option between afternoon tea and cocktails at the bar at night. The host is also amicable and has fantastic local hiking spot and food recommendations! There's also a pool and free laundry😃

Waking up and opening the window to a lush green landscape was so relaxing and refreshing. The front desk offers electric bike rentals that are in excellent condition with plenty of battery life, and at a great price. It was super convenient for riding to Yulong River and Ten-Mile Gallery, allowing us to enjoy the scenery with the wind in our hair – so free and enjoyable. The service was thoughtful and attentive, making getting around incredibly easy. The value for money is unbeatable; choosing this place for your trip to Yangshuo is definitely the right call!

We stayed in the family balcony suite, and it was so spacious that our child immediately started running around excitedly upon entering. It even came with a small tent and a building block table. With a large balcony and two bathrooms, our family of four was super comfortable, and my parents had their own private space. The room featured a king-sized bed and two single beds, plus four complimentary breakfasts – so convenient and great value.
The hotel really pays attention to family-friendly details: there's an indoor kids' play area and they gave us 20 game tokens, which kept our child entertained for hours. The bedside tables have wireless chargers, so no more searching for cables. The balcony has a drying rack and a rattan swing chair, making laundry super easy. Plus, there's free underground parking and EV charging spots, so driving here is stress-free.
And the 'Sky Realm' on the rooftop? Absolutely stunning for photos! The mirrored installation reflects the blue sky, white clouds, and the mountains of Yangshuo, making every shot look like a magazine cover. It's also just a 10-minute walk to West Street, which is super convenient for trying beer fish and exploring the night market.
