High standards & I received an excellent welcome. Housekeeping is outstanding. I was given an early check in without asking & that was greatly appreciated. Breakfast is VERY good & I highly recommend it. Location is in the Gothic Quarter & it is ideal for a first time visit to Barcelona. There is a cafe & barista on the ground level & pastries & fresh orange juice in the morning. My room was small but had all I needed for my stay & the mini fridge was nice to have The bed was really comfy & there were black out curtains so you can sleep in after a long plane trip. There are two lifts & if you have heavy luggage this is very convenient. Great stay!

Everything good. Just bear in mind it seemed to me at least, to be more of a community based hostel with games at night and activities that most people do together. Five minutes walk from maor roundabout/ colombus momument.

The hotel team, was really nice and friendly, and the location of the hotel is absolutely amazing right in front the main entrance of Barcelona's market and metro station, the room was clean and tidy and the whole experience was great

Pleasant Surprise in the Heart of Barcelona Rating:4/5 Stars Date of Stay:August 2024 --- Summary: We had a short break in Barcelona this week and were looking for a clean, well-located room, and that’s exactly what we got. The Park Hotel was a pleasant surprise and definitely shouldn’t be judged by its facade—we were truly impressed. Room: Our room on the sixth floor was spacious for a city hotel and had all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the pillows were firm and supportive—none of those mushy, overly soft ones you often find in hotels. The bathroom was well-equipped, though it might be a bit tight for larger guests. Cleanliness: The room was cleaned regularly, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. The pool area was also well-maintained, and the shower room available on our departure day was spotless, making our stay even more comfortable. Service: The service was reasonable overall. The staff managed multiple tasks at once, and although they sometimes appeared a bit stressed, they were always prompt, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Location: The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. It’s within easy walking distance of Barceloneta, Port Vell, and the El Born district. Plus, the hotel is directly opposite the train station, which made our day trip to Sitges incredibly convenient. Facilities: The hotel’s rooftop pool is a nice feature, with about 14 chairs available for sunbathing. The area gets busy in the mid-afternoon, especially when the summer sun is at its peak. Nice hotel. Location is good distance wise, las Ramblas was very busy and a few characters there but ultimately didn’t feel unsafe there. Around a 10 minutes walk to cathedral. 30 minute walk to Família and the parks. Metro location 2 minute walk away if needed. Room was small but that’s what we expected and all we needed as we barely was in the room due to sightseeing. Clean and no complaints here

Hhxm.trxvxlOur best stay in Spain. The staffs were all friendly. I only managed to catch a few people’s names like Anass, Raquel, Sebastian but everyone (front desk, concierge, housekeeping, breakfast staffs) in the hotel made us feel very welcome and comfortable. For example, Sebastian offered a pair of scissors without us even asking when he saw us repacking our luggage at the lobby. Everyday we went out and returned, everyone would greet us. We truly felt the warm welcome and friendliness of the Spanish through them. Very glad to book this hotel even though the hotel may be slightly more expensive than other hotels in Barcelona. Housekeeping seems to be done twice daily too (they will leave us chocolates on our bed every evening which is extremely sweet of them). Housekeeping team also sprayed fragrance on our little pillows which we brought with us on the trip (no other hotels have done so for us into past).
One more thing to add is that the showers in the hotel are full glass so it lacks privacy. We did not know this beforehand but only upon our check in. Anass and team assisted us the next day to stick privacy film to make us more comfortable.
A pity is that the Michelin starred restaurant located in the hotel is closed from Sunday to Tuesday, so we could not get to try it. The breakfast is the same every morning too but it was alright.
We would definitely return to the hotel if we are in Barcelona again. Gracias Team Ohla Barcelona! 100/100

JJAsuonikeService: The guy at the front desk was incredibly handsome, like an actor. He was very welcoming, offered water and candies as soon as I walked in, and helped with my luggage. The guy who handled my check-in was very chatty and cute.
Facilities: Overall, the facilities were perfectly fine and normal, just like a typical foreign hotel. The only minor thing was that the hangers couldn't be fully removed.
Cleanliness: Excellent.
Environment: I chose this area because it was said to be safer. There are plenty of supermarkets and shops nearby, making it convenient for shopping. However, you'll likely need a taxi or subway to get to the tourist attractions.

We arrived late on our first day and didn't have time to buy water, so the hotel gave us a bottle, which was very nice! We booked a standard double room, but it had a small balcony overlooking the pool and outdoor restaurant. The view was lovely.
The security was also very good; nothing was lost during our several nights. We also noticed that the automatic door at the entrance was manually controlled by the front desk, so unauthorized people wouldn't be able to get in.

墾墾丁的海，大灣The room was spotless and featured a balcony that could be opened. The self-service breakfast was incredibly generous and delicious! Its location is superb: it's very close to the cruise shuttle bus stop, Columbus Square, and La Rambla. Public transportation (bus and metro) to all major attractions is also easily accessible, making it extremely convenient. The hotel staff, from the front desk to dining and housekeeping, were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming. This hotel is highly recommended!

GGuest UserWe stayed with my spouse and child. I would generally recommend Hesperia Hotel to everyone. The hotel's location is very good. The rooms are spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful. Most importantly, it is a quiet hotel with no noise. For those who want to enjoy the Barcelona view, I recommend staying on the 11th floor or higher.

It was a little inconvenient because laundry was done in a shared facility on the 5th floor, and I was a little disappointed that they assigned me a room with a rear view without even asking how many rooms had a view of the Sagrada. There is a rest area and a pool on the rooftop, so it would be nice when the weather is nice. The location is far from major tourist attractions, so it's a bit inconvenient to take the subway every day, so if I had to do it again, I think I'd pick it near Plaza Catalunya.
