"I come from Hong Kong (China) and stayed for 2 days in late September 2023. The location is a bit away from the old port but still a walkable distance, but beware the neighbourhood is unsafe. Never walk alone at night time. As I travelled alone, I drove back to the hotel every night. The provisions in the room is surprisingly thoughtful. The hotel provides all basic appliances, including a water boiler, hair dryer, tea cup, a small desk, etc, and there are a few hooks, which are very handy and useful. The bed is cosy, and the room temperature is good with the air-conditioner. Speaking of the fridge, it was off and not in use, and there was some bad smell when I opened it. As it turned out, the fridge was just a decoration. The breakfast was fair, bit I can’t complain as it was included in the budgeted price. All in all, I would recommend this hotel. If you are not alone, it’s fine. If you are alone, please don’t go back at night and if you have to, drive!"

"Excellent location. We were there the weekend before Christmas. The Christmas market, concert, fireworks and drone show were just 5 min walk away. Room is a bit small but clean and comfortable. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate at the lobby was a huge plus point too."

"Great location. Easy to find. Walking distance to the old port and other sighseening places. The hostel and the room is very clean and new. The elevator is working fine. Shower is warm enough. Would be great if there,s hanger on the door or the wall to hang the clothes in the shower. Overall a great experience. Will definally come again. Highly recommend. 離火車站跟老港口很近，走路十分鐘就到了，很好找，背包客棧跟房間浴室公共區域都很乾淨，很值得，下次會再來。"

"Considering this is an ibis Budget hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. Great location in the old port area, heaps of restaurants around, walkable to everything. Very friendly staff on check-in. Room was compact but clean. It’s no frills so there is no safe, fridge, kettle or wardrobe. Good value for money. Breakfast was an additional €8.90 but worth it."
