"A gorgeous hotel. Delicious breakfast, stunning views of Sakurajima and the perfect onsen. Convenient transfer from the station. Will definitely be back."
"I think this hotel is pretty brand new hotel. Every amenities were new one. Hotel employees can speak english. It is very close to Tenmonkandori so comfortable to go anywhere in Kagoshima including the airport"
"My second stay at Quintessa. This time, it was a last min booking. The room, as with all Jap hotels, is small. Difficult for a clam-shell luggage. But it will be manageable if you packed well. Location is good - near to the airport limousine bus bus-stop, near to eateries, cafe, LOFT, MUJI, DON DONKI etc."
GGuest UserConvenient : Yes, hotel entrance just few steps from Shinkansen station exit👍🏽👍🏽 Price : Very reasonable👍🏽👍🏽 Room size : Can open 2 big luggage in same time🤣🤣 Clean : Yes👍🏽👍🏽
GGuest UserGave us the wrong room at first but then upgraded to a better room on 9th floor, which is nice. Washing machine/dryer is fast and very quiet. We liked the induction cooktop, which makes cooking quite enjoyable. You can see Sakurajima while laying on the daybed. Room is new and clean with high quality interior finish and fittings. Overall it's a very pleasant expereice. The only thing that can be improved is guest education. Kids staying upstairs kept jumping on the floor after 10:30pm. There should be signage reminding people to remain quiet at night time.
AAnonymous UserStaff are very friendly & helpful. Location is good. It takes just a few minutes walk to Tenmonkan airport shuttle & city view bus stop. Enjoy the breakfast
DDon AWe struck gold with this one. Amazing location, right by the main bus station and very near the Chuo train station. Super clean, comfortable and it has luggage storage that can be used for free for gusts who come too early or have extra time to explore after checking out.
GGuest UserHotel services is good ,rooms view is facing sakuarjima, car park access is convenient ,staff are friendly ,breakfast is good, highly recommended if you are driving
GGuest UserEven though this is an old hotel and it shows in its facilities and overall design, the service and amenities you get as a solo traveller is worth thw price you pay for an overnight stay. The room is clean albeit small but sufficient. Some points to take note if you're planning to book: This is close to the central station so it's juat a block away from major shopping and transport options. The hotel closes its front desk and doors at 11 pm to 7 am. Checkin before 11 pm. Going in and out of the hotel at that time is possible if you use your key card to open the front doors. Walls are thin and it's very possible that you would hear your neighbor. There's free coffee and drinks at the lobby.
