Really nice hotel. Service was excellent from start to finish, with staff always polite and helpful. The lobby offers plenty of complimentary hygiene items—toothbrushes, combs, cream, hair ties, and more—which is a great touch. The room was very clean and comfortable. It’s Japanese-sized but well-designed and has everything you need, including a sleeping gown. They also use an eco-friendly cleaning system: full room cleaning every three days, with fresh towels left at your door daily. Our bathroom did have a slight humidity odour, and the sink showed some signs of age, but overall it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t affect the stay. Location was excellent—just a short walk to the metro, with many restaurants and convenience stores close by. Overall, a very good experience. Would recommend and would stay again.

The best feature of this hotel is undoubtedly its location. Being situated so close to the train station was incredibly convenient and made navigating the city simple. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and tidy space to return to after a day out. The only minor drawback is the lack of dining options immediately surrounding the hotel. While the train station proximity solves most travel needs, guests should be aware that they might need to travel a short distance to find a wide selection of restaurants. Overall, for travelers prioritizing convenience, cleanliness, and budget, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Thank you very much to the auntie who sent me out when I checked out today. She bowed to me and sent me off until I walked out of the door. I was very touched! This is a B&B, not a hotel. Except for the remote location, the hardware and service of this B&B itself are perfect, or even beyond perfect. No one can provide such extreme service. Advantages: 1. Clean, very clean, spotless. 2. Perfect service, perfect to the point of being at home. 3. The price is very low, much more cost-effective than a hotel. 4. Quiet, at night it is as quiet as living in the countryside, very quiet. Disadvantages: 1. The location is remote, Nishi-Kasai is far from the city, there is only one subway, and you have to transfer to go to the attractions. 2. It is 800 meters away from the subway entrance, and it takes 8 minutes to walk. 3. All the businesses are at the subway entrance, and there is only one AEON supermarket near the B&B. Exit the subway north exit, go straight to Family Mart, walk to GU store, go straight, see NISSIAN 4S store, cross the road, turn left, walk to see Honda motorcycle store, that's it.

Amazing
SSharon Tang (Sharon 852)It was ok, too expensive though. I got the family room, the room was big, but the bathroom especially the sink area was cramped, especially for how much the room cost. Small fridge but no freezer. Microwave all the way down in the lobby/foyer, that was annoying. There's a free shuttle bus to/from Shin-Uryasu metro, and also to Disneyland/sea. Its 10 min to the metro, but its about 25 min to Disneysea, because the shuttle stops at the metro and Disneyland first. Although apparently it also takes 25 min by taxi, according to the staff? Not sure. so just be aware, because I booked this hotel originally thinking it was a lot closer than it is to Disneyland. To get into town, its more direct to get to Tokyo station rather than Ueno if using public transport. There is a beautiful nature park right across the road though, that is good for children. You can pay to get the limousine bus to narita from there.
DDenghanzeThis is my second time staying at this hotel. The shuttle bus from Haneda Airport directly to the hotel entrance is super convenient. To get to Disneyland, you just take the free Disney shuttle from the first floor, and then hop on the Disney Resort Line monorail. This time, we could even see fireworks from our room at night!
KkangniconnieThere's an airport shuttle bus that goes directly to the hotel, and having two Lawson convenience stores downstairs is incredibly convenient. You can easily walk to the train station for Sea Land, and the shuttle bus to Maihama Station is also very convenient and quick. I'll definitely stay here again next time! The room was spacious, and my kids had a great time.
GGuest UserHotel Okura Tokyo Bay is a classic option for travelers looking to visit the Tokyo Disney Resort without breaking the bank on the official ”on-site” hotels. Having stayed here recently, I can give a fair and balanced review: it is a property with clear strengths in space and location, but it also shows its age in places.
First, the location is unbeatable for Disney guests. It's only about a 3-minute walk to Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line monorail . There is also a convenient free shuttle bus to JR Maihama Station, which is great for accessing central Tokyo or connecting to the airport .
The rooms are where this hotel truly shines. We were shocked by how massively spacious the room was—a rare find in Japan . The bathrooms are also huge, featuring a separate shower and a deep bathtub, perfect for soaking sore muscles after a long day at the theme parks . To our surprise, the hotel provided face masks and bath salts in the room, a thoughtful amenity that added a touch of relaxation to our evening .
However, the review wouldn't be fair without mentioning the downsides. The hotel opened in 1988, and while it is impeccably clean, the facilities are undeniably dated. The decor and carpets feel like a step back in time.
In summary, Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay is a solid choice if you prioritize space and a short commute to the Disney parks. Don't expect modern luxury, but do expect a clean, comfortable, and roomy stay.
MMatthew steven kee coCONVENIENCE: A 24 - hour Lawson convenience store and a disney merchandise shop are located directly in the lobby.
In- Room Comforts: Every guest room includes a foot massager, which is highly praised by tired travelers. Rooms also feature air purifiers and USB charging ports.
Dinning: The breakfast buffet is well - regarded for its wide variety of Japanese and western options, including kid - friendly features like a chocolate fountain.
YYuniboboyueService: The hotel shuttle is super convenient. After taking the subway from the airport to Maihama Station, you just go downstairs and hop on the shuttle. The next day, it dropped us off at a different station for DisneySea, and then we took the Disney Resort Line from there.
Amenities: The hotel toiletries are by Pola, and the hairdryer was excellent – I honestly think it was better than my Dyson at home.
There's a small convenience store downstairs, but it didn't have much. We ended up walking about 300m to a Lawson at another hotel (it was packed with people coming back from Disney).
JJTeohTravelled to Japan for a 2 week getaway. Decided to treat myself to a better hotel. Turns out it was the best choice made on the trip. When I was checking in I was told I got a free upgrade, from the double room I booked (3-4th floor) I ended up on the 11th floor (top floor), although a simple upgrade it definitely enhanced the experience. Stayed for 7 nights and it felt amazing returning to a safe, clean and ultra comfortable room every night. Was able to see fuji-san from the balcony, what a treat!
If any is considering upgrading their trip by booking a slightly more expensive room, please choose this one! Highly recommended!
GGuest UserLovely hotel welcoming with complimentary drinks 24hrs. Next to Lawson conveni stall and provide free shuttle bus to/fro Disneyland/sea. 10mins walk to bigger suppermarkets and eateries. Room space is better compared to normal Japan hotel room size considering 2 double bed although we have only 2 person. Am happy with the 3nighrs stay given above and washing machine reasonable charge at 300jpy and dryer at 100jpy. Can be improve to have luaggage weighing machine. They're kind to received items on behalf abd provide courier service at front counter from what I know. Lastly, it's convient 3muns walk to take airport limo bus from next door Hyatt Hotel. Thank you!
GGuest Userrecently spent five days at this hotel, and overall, my experience was good. While there were areas that could be improved, the stay was comfortable and satisfactory, making it a place I would consider returning to under similar circumstances. From the moment I checked in, the process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff handled the paperwork quickly, and I was able to get to my room without any delays. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, which immediately gave me a sense of ease. Cleanliness is one of the most important aspects of any hotel stay, and I was pleased to see that the housekeeping team did a consistent job throughout my visit. The bed linens were fresh, the bathroom spotless, and the overall atmosphere of the room felt welcoming. Breakfast was included in my stay, and while it was convenient to have this option, I did notice that the variety was quite similar each day. For all five mornings, the offerings were largely the same—bread, eggs, fruit, and a few hot items. While everything was prepared adequately and tasted fine, I would have appreciated a bit more diversity in the menu to keep things interesting. After several days, the repetition became noticeable. That said, the dining area was clean, and the staff ensured that food was replenished promptly, which made the experience pleasant despite the lack of variety. Service throughout the hotel was average. The staff were polite and professional, but I did not feel that they went above and beyond to make the stay exceptional. Requests were handled, but sometimes with a delay or without the warmth that can make a guest feel truly valued. For example, when I asked for extra towels, they were delivered, but only after a longer wait than expected. Similarly, while the staff were courteous, they did not engage much beyond the basics. This level of service was acceptable, but it lacked the personal touch that distinguishes a good hotel from a great one. The facilities of the hotel were functional and met my needs. The lobby was tidy, and the common areas were kept in good condition.
GGuest UserGreat location for people like us that are going to Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea. Although there is free transport to the park, it starts late. And if you want to get to the park before it opens, use the local bus. The bus stop is 5 min walk away.
