Amazing
GGuest UserWe absolutely loved this hotel. It's a short tuk tuk trip from the old market and pub street which has lots of great food and drink. It's also a great haven to use for trips to Ankgor Wat and or fishing/floating villages. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent, during our 10 days in the hotel we ate there many times (we tried most of the menu). The staff were really friendly and welcoming, especially with our children, they were really well taken care of. The chef is really good, the food is just excellent. The swimming pool is also really beautiful, we swam most days and a few times even had the entire pool to ourselves. We stayed in a large family suite, it was huge at 120 square meters. The staff cleaned it everyday, giving us fresh drinking water and towels. We slept very well in this hotel. Pro tips: - Ask at reception for a Fire TV stick so that you can watch Netflix on the TV - You can buy cans of beer and soft drinks at the little shop across the road for 1/5th the price of the minibar

Amazing
AAowupimengwangI was extremely satisfied with our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Cambodia. First and foremost, the service was exceptionally attentive. Despite being a bit of a distance from Pub Street, they offered free tuk-tuk service, which only required a reservation. Furthermore, whether we were checking in, checking out, or simply returning to the hotel for a short break, staff members would always greet us at the entrance with jasmine-scented cold towels and iced water. The dining experience was also unforgettable. The chef was particularly kind and engaging, always interacting with us after serving the food to ask if it was to our liking. On mornings when we had to rush for our itinerary, the hotel staff would proactively pack the food we needed, including two delicious iced coffees, which was incredibly thoughtful. Lastly, the in-room experience was fantastic. Even though air conditioning isn't common in many places in Siem Reap, the hotel consistently ensured our room was perfectly cool, making for a truly pleasant stay. I only wish I had brought more cash to give the staff more tips to thank them for their hard work and dedication.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located with a discreet entrance in the quieter part of town, outside the hustle and bustle of the centre and bar street but with everything within a short walk. The hotel has a delightful pool area open until 10pm where one can relax and swim as the heat of the day cools slightly Breakfast offers western and local options as well as a good selection of fruit and cereals The customer service is excellent with all the staff very attentive

GGuest UserMetta had great service and I really enjoyed my time there. The pool is really nice, and the covered cabanas/sun loungers are great. We were provided a breakfast box for our sunrise Angkor Wat tour, even though we didn't book that one through the hotel. There are also free tuktuks to Pub Street. The restaurant food is pretty good as well, though obviously more expensive than the food options in town. Overall, the value for money is fantastic.

GGuest UserThe reviews and photos are very consistent, and since the night bus arrived super early, I could relax by the pool. The room and bathroom were both very spacious. Breakfast was a set menu, and the taste was decent. The service attitude was excellent, and it offered great value for money. The downside is that you can't shower after checking out. It's about 2 km from the lively night market, so you'll need to take a tuk-tuk to get around.

JJoelbastedoAnjali was perfect. Quiet, restful, and beautiful. The pool is always shaded by dense foliage so it seemed like we were in the middle of the jungle. The restaurant was amazing, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange all our tours and activities. We were especially lucky to have Mr. Chhlen drive us around all week in the tuktuk and the van: not only was he kind and knowledgeable, making helpful suggestions for attractions and restaurants we wouldn’t have known about otherwise, but also he was very attentive to our kids and helped keep them safe and entertained when we were out temples and souvenir shops. We highly recommend Anjali and would stay again.

KKSea 14-Star Luxury Hotel for the Backpacker Price of $40/night! The first thing you notice about Sokha Palace Siem Reap Hotel is just how pretty it is! The architect, painters, decorators and maintenance staff did a fabulous job (see my photos). The second thing you notice is how delicious the huge buffet is – including free espresso drinks. Third, you notice that the rooms are not only nice but that everything works well (aircon, hot water showers, refrigerator, wifi, and cable TV with news channels from a half dozen countries like CNN). Fourth, it is in a quiet location less than 15 minutes from Angkor Wat, and only a $2 tuktuk ride to Pub Street or anywhere else in Siem Reap. But then you notice the best part: the outstanding hotel staff. For example, the Front Desk Manager Phyrun personally helped me when I could not make my room keycard work, and even brought me a bucket of ice. Originally I booked five nights during Chinese New Year with Trip.com discounts for $39/night, but he gave me a free upgrade from a garden view double with king bed to a pool view room. I liked it so much I wanted to extend, but the best I could find online was $41/night garden view, $51 for pool view. I asked Phyrun if I could get the upgrade again if I bought the $41 online, and he said no – but he smiled and said he would give it to me for $40/night the Khmer rate instead (normally $50 for barangs like me)! The restaurant had other examples of great staff. Some days the restaurant is overflowing with several hundred guests, other days only a few dozen. Yet they maintain the quality and personal touch from the egg and soup station, to the bountiful buffet, to the waiters and waitresses that clear the tables. The Restaurant Manager Somedy and his Assistant Manager Chhaiya keep it all flowing smoothly. Even on the busiest day, waitress Chanthla took the time to show my Khmer friend’s elderly stepmom the way they fold the napkins. Today the espresso machine was not working for a while, so Chhaiya offered to have a waiter drive over to the sister hotel to bring me lattes. I repeatedly declined, but was very impressed by the excellent customer service attitude. So the real beauty of this French chateau style hotel is its employees, including very efficient housekeeping and grounds staff. I checked out the “5-Star” Sokha Resort on the other side of its convention center, but did not like it half as much (especially for 70% more per night). Normally I would be afraid to write a review of a hotel that I like so much, but with 456 rooms I don’t have to worry about it being full. Do yourself a favor and stay here when in Siem Reap.

GGuest UserThis was my first trip to Cambodia, and I stayed here for 4 nights. Getting here from the airport, I paid $8 for a bus, then another $1 for a tuk-tuk to reach the property. My return journey was the reverse. Online sources suggest a round-trip bus ticket costs $15. Although this was the cheapest accommodation I could find in Siem Reap, I was pleasantly surprised that noise wasn't an issue, and I slept soundly. Be aware that some showers only have cold water! Also, there's no hairdryer, which can be quite inconvenient for those with long hair. I hand-washed my clothes, but there were many laundry services nearby offering a rate of $1 per kg.

ССветлана ТихолазNice, cozy, quiet hotel. There is a small swimming pool, a recreation area, a mini bar. There are two sections on the floor, two rooms in each section. Each section has a recreation area designed for two rooms, a large refrigerator, a cooking area. But there are no utensils for cooking. The room is large, spacious, the bed is comfortable, high and soft, there is local lighting, which is very convenient.

HHumphrey JrThe hotel was pretty nice for the affordable price. The service was good, both receptionists were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The location was pretty convenient to visit the city center and night markets. There are a lot of bars and restaurants along the street, we really enjoyed that. Our room was on the first floor so it was a bit noisy in the mornings because other guests came to have breakfast at the lobby which was also on the same floor and a few meters from our room. Despite that, everything was very good.
