“Convenient location and clean rooms!” I recently stayed at Toyoko Inn Seoul Dongdaemun II and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located right next to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (Exit 4), which made getting around the city super easy. There are also convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so I never had to worry about food or last-minute shopping. The room was small but well-organized—it had everything I needed, including a mini fridge, electric kettle, and even a humidifier. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which had a mix of Korean and Western options. One downside was that the elevator was a bit slow duri ng peak hours, but it wasn’t a huge issue. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, budget-friendly, and well-located hotel in Seoul, I’d definitely recommend this one!

I’ll rate 100 of 10!!!  Reception was so kind and thinking us like a Princess.  And also, the room’s smell, cleanness, facility were amazing! In addition, this hotel is so close to the station that we could go anywhere so easily!! We could spend this time so securely!! Thank you sooo much!!! The next time I will visit Korea, I definitely wanna stay with you and recommend my friends!!! I appreciate it!!!

Since this hostel is located not far from DDP Station, I was already very satisfied with the accessibility right from the moment I arrived :) We arrived around 7 PM! Even though it was self-check-in, the owner welcomed us warmly, and I was really touched that they even carried our suitcases to our room themselves, even though we were exhausted 😊 The building was very clean overall, from the exterior to the interior, and all the facilities looked brand new, making it very pleasant. The bathroom door had a unique design I'd never seen before, which was interesting, but the soundproofing was good and the water pressure was strong, so showering was comfortable! I tend to have back pain, so I can't sleep on just any bed, but the bed here felt like it provided firm support for my lower back. When I woke up in the morning, my back didn't hurt, and I had a deep sleep 🥰 Thanks to this, I made some wonderful memories at DDP! I recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable hostel near DDP that has everything you need!

I had a wonderful stay at ION Hotel Dongdaemun! The hotel itself was clean, cozy, and conveniently located, but what truly made my experience exceptional was the staff—especially one incredibly kind team member who went above and beyond for me. On the day of my departure, it was raining heavily, and I had two large suitcases. Without hesitation, a staff member stepped outside in the rain to help me load my luggage into the Uber. He didn’t have to do that—it was above and beyond his duty, but he did it with such kindness and care. That small act of generosity truly touched me and left a lasting impression. The service throughout my stay was warm, professional, and thoughtful. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and I felt safe and welcomed as a solo traveler. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul. It’s not just a place to sleep, it’s a place where you’ll feel genuinely cared for. Thank you, ION Hotel Dongdaemun, for your hospitality!

I don't usually leave reviews, but I was so satisfied that I had to. First of all, the place was incredibly clean, and the unique interior was truly beautiful. It looked even better in person than in the photos. ✨ The bathroom was spacious and comfortable, and the table was well-equipped, so four of us had no problems staying there. It was conveniently located between Myeongdong and Dongdaemun, so it was easy to get around, and the neighborhood wasn't too crowded, so we had a quiet stay. I don't think you'll find a place like this in this area. The self-service check-in system made it easy to check in even late at night, and the washer and dryer were a nice touch, which explains why it's so popular. Overall, it was a very well-maintained place, so I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area. 👍

Very satisfied with the hotel here. No issue at all with this hotel. Very clean and bright room. Friendly receptionist too. There is also a cafe.
