IIan LagacLocation is great, just beside One Galle Face Mall. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Beautiful sunset views (from the bar, pool, restaurant, lobby) and Galle Face opposite the road. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Checked in Dec 30-Jan 2 peak season. Hotel was fully booked. Waited in the lobby for my room to be ready upon check-in. Front desk said they will find me to let me know. Waited for more than an hour before I asked them again and told me that my room has been ready. Ordered some room service which took more than an hour to be delivered. Granted they told me that it may take about 50 minutes because it was peak hours. Upon delivery they told me it was comped because of the long wait. Pool, restaurant, and bar staff are all great. Very personable and accommodating. Loved the sky pool on the 31st floor. No bar but not as crowded as the main pool. Breakfast was great. A lot of choices. Asian selection is great. Pastries not so much, some didn’t seem fresh. Heard from some staff that it gets super busy from around 9 but didn’t experience any long wait. Plenty of tables to accommodate people. Overall a great experience and will definitely stay here again if I’m in Colombo.

KKiana MendozaA nice, luxurious end to my first time in Sri Lanka. Room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the Lotus Tower, and service is extremely attentive. Breakfast was extremely diverse, and a server was eager to make local Sri Lankan recommendations which I really appreciated. However, the layout of the place is a little difficult, so be prepared to use a few different elevators to get around

BBryan HO travel round the worldValue for money. We booked a room with breakfast and dinner. The dinner and breakfast were western style buffet with some variety of non spicy dishes. Our room is a sea view room and can see sunset. A small swimming pool at the roof.

GGuest UserHotel is in the heart of Colombo and very prominent location in Sri Lanka. I love the garden view. Food is excellent choices. Staff everyone is very courteous and well organise and presentable. All staff are consistently helpful. Special thanks to the restaurant staff Kamani ,Randil and Imesh. I will definitely comeback to this hotel when my next visit. My appreciation to all staff members during my stay.

GGuest UserVisited Colombo during off-peak season so we managed to visit the city with less crowd. Views from any sea-facing room is incredible for its price - slight blocking with 2 towers in front but you can get a better unblocked view if you go for Premium tier rooms. I have to commend reception staff Anjala, who managed upsell me a Premium Seaview Room from a Superior Seaview Room. He took the time to explain the differences between each tier, accommodated to my budget constraints, and brought me to each room (empty ones of course) for a viewing before committing to an upgrade. After hearing that I was there on honeymoon (my husband would only arrive later), he relayed that to the rest of the team who took care of us wonderfully throughout our 4-day stay. Overall, room is clean and roomy, perfect for business calls with fast and reliable in-room wifi. Only downside is their TV doesn't have Netflix or Airplay, only Miracast for Android/Windows users. Tip for travellers: tell your driver this used to be Movenpick hotel - they will know where to drop you off.

GGuest UserArrived very late and we’re still welcome D with non alcoholic freshly made juice for my self and my littlest extremely accomodating at such a late hour breakfast was a buffet setup with. Oth Western European and traditional Sri Lanka cuisines and we still pretty much could order anything anyway - my daughter wanted western style eggs fried sunny side up on toast cracked them right there in front of here the view was incredible from our room you could hear the ocean crash against the rocks only wish we could have stayed longer really good people place service was exceptional- you. E nice they be nice easy peasy xox
