GGuest UserOverall, this accommodation was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The unit was very spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean upon arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. The layout was practical and suitable for both short and longer stays, with ample space to move around and relax.
One of the biggest advantages was how easy the place was to locate. Clear directions and a convenient location made check-in smooth and stress-free, especially after a long journey. The surrounding area was also quiet and pleasant, allowing for a restful stay.
Cleanliness was clearly a priority, from the rooms to the common areas, which we truly appreciated. Overall, this accommodation offers great comfort, convenience, and value. We would definitely recommend it to others and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

GGuest UserThus hotels most appealing benefit is its location. It’s a short walk to the octagon, historical railway station and the excellent (and free admission) Pioneer Museum. It’s a short is also only a couple of streets from George Street which has lots of shopping and restaurants. A block away is a large supermarket for groceries. The room size is adequate with a fridge and kettle. The carpet could use a good cleaning. The main issue was with the shower. It has no enclosure and although the floor is sloped towards the drain we had to put towels around the floor to stop water from running everywhere. The towels and bath mat naturally got soaked. For the price and location I would recommend this hotel if you are. It looking for anything upscale.

TTommy_dejoReally nice looking room and a very good price performance ratio. And you even get a complimentary drink. Room was nice and warm upon arrival. I didnt really understand the self checkin for a second, cause i didnt know the rooms were directly at the parkinglot, where the whiteboards and the name are written. Really easy and useful for a fast checkin and checkout. I would stay there again.

HHuimiaoThe room is not small, but the ventilation is not very good. The shared toilet and bathroom are not very convenient. The wooden floor and door are a bit scary at night. There are no other restaurants around except the castle. Dinner at the hotel needs to be booked before 5 pm, 95 NZD per person.

GGuest UserKudos to the check in staff, particularly, Sally Guo and Aaron who are both helpful n hospitable in assisting my family especially my hubby who needs accessible toilet n Sally took the trouble to find us a room for that purpose. Also the additional night booked with Dunedin Lodge simply worth it as they made sure we transfer to another room with ease in terms of checkout n checkin time. Next to botanic gardens n 5 mins walk to supermarket n local community are what I'd consider n recommend to all who'd like to find a suitable n excellent accommodation.

圣圣代千层雪About 3 kilometers away from Dunedin city center, the area is relatively quiet but there is not much to stroll around. The equipment and facilities are relatively old and the sanitary conditions are average. It is worth the price but not much compared to the previous apartment. Highlights.

JJimmy正I stayed at the Law Courts Hotel recently, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The building is very old and hasn’t had much renovation. The bathroom still has those separate hot and cold taps, which are inconvenient, and the carpet looked quite worn and not very clean—it definitely feels like the place could use some updating.
That said, the location is fantastic—right in the heart of Dunedin, so it’s super convenient for getting around. It’s also very affordable, which is a big plus if you’re on a budget. Just keep in mind that being so central means it can be noisy; Saturday night, in particular, was hard to sleep through with all the street noise.
Overall, if you’re after a budget-friendly place in a great location and don’t mind the quirks of an older hotel, it’s worth considering. But if you’re looking for something more modern and comfortable, you might want to look elsewhere.
