GGuest UserECC is truly amazing. The interior design is incredibly stylish, the rooms are bright and spacious, and the aesthetics of industrial design are evident everywhere. I highly recommend it; it was a pleasant surprise.

GGuest UserThus hotels most appealing benefit is its location. It’s a short walk to the octagon, historical railway station and the excellent (and free admission) Pioneer Museum. It’s a short is also only a couple of streets from George Street which has lots of shopping and restaurants. A block away is a large supermarket for groceries. The room size is adequate with a fridge and kettle. The carpet could use a good cleaning. The main issue was with the shower. It has no enclosure and although the floor is sloped towards the drain we had to put towels around the floor to stop water from running everywhere. The towels and bath mat naturally got soaked. For the price and location I would recommend this hotel if you are. It looking for anything upscale.

TTommy_dejoReally nice looking room and a very good price performance ratio. And you even get a complimentary drink. Room was nice and warm upon arrival. I didnt really understand the self checkin for a second, cause i didnt know the rooms were directly at the parkinglot, where the whiteboards and the name are written. Really easy and useful for a fast checkin and checkout. I would stay there again.

HHuimiaoThe room is not small, but the ventilation is not very good. The shared toilet and bathroom are not very convenient. The wooden floor and door are a bit scary at night. There are no other restaurants around except the castle. Dinner at the hotel needs to be booked before 5 pm, 95 NZD per person.

GGuest UserUnfortunately, my stay was not very comfortable. The soundproofing is very poor, and there is a nightclub nearby that plays very loud music late into the night, making it difficult to sleep. For those who drive, can park on the roadside across the street for free after 6pm. In addition, the shower water pressure was very low, which was disappointing.

まず、清潔感がとてもあります。共有スペースも綺麗ですし、宿泊者も皆綺麗に使用しています。各部屋も綺麗で、下の段のベットにカーテンがついていて閉められるようになっていることも素晴らしいです。
また、ホットチョコレートや紅茶が飲めるように準備してあります。ニュージーランドは秋で寒かったので、ホステルに戻ると温かい飲み物が飲めるということがとても嬉しかったです。
遅いチェックインで朝早くのチェックアウトでしたが、事前から連絡をくれて、丁寧に対応してくださりました。
また、泊まりたいと思う素敵なホテルでした！

JJimmy正I stayed at the Law Courts Hotel recently, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The building is very old and hasn’t had much renovation. The bathroom still has those separate hot and cold taps, which are inconvenient, and the carpet looked quite worn and not very clean—it definitely feels like the place could use some updating.
That said, the location is fantastic—right in the heart of Dunedin, so it’s super convenient for getting around. It’s also very affordable, which is a big plus if you’re on a budget. Just keep in mind that being so central means it can be noisy; Saturday night, in particular, was hard to sleep through with all the street noise.
Overall, if you’re after a budget-friendly place in a great location and don’t mind the quirks of an older hotel, it’s worth considering. But if you’re looking for something more modern and comfortable, you might want to look elsewhere.
