"The location was perfect for what I wanted to explore the old town and National History Museum etc. The room is tiny but has everything one needs. A pleasant budget stay."
"For those not used to the way these appts work check in was a bit awkward, esp if you didn't set up your esim properly first abd are new in town. The key is in a small black box on the rails outside the door. Apart from that the amenities are top notch the location not bad around 10 mins walk from the old town"
"Positives: location is very central. Near Universitate Square and metro station, which was so convenient for me as it was also the meeting point for a day tour i had booked. Purely coincidental. Loads of cafes and restaurants (a bit pricey though) and beautiful classic buildings like the Central Bank of Romania, churches and restaurants. Studio apartment is gorgeous, spacious, clean and functional. It had ALMOST a fully fitted kitchen. (4) check in was at another hotel nearby. The guy at check in was very friendly and warm and the staff in general were helpful and helped me book ticket from a website which had no English translation. Thank you! Negatives : (1) no lifts. (2) Kitchen had no stove or even a microwave, which makes having a kitchen rather pointless actually. I mean, there’s a fridge and all but how would one heat up food? (3) the housekeeping tidied my bed but did not wash the mug in the sink or emptied the bin in the bathroom. Other than that, i would recommend this place and would stay here again. Thank you!"
"The experience from the very beginning was absolutely wonderful. Very attentive customer service and the apartment is more beautiful than the pictures terraces five of them each one with a different view. The restaurant below Luma was absolute perfection wet so well with the accommodation the service impeccable for food amazing and I was fortunate enough to meet the owners who are so proud of their restaurant you can tell in every detail it goes without saying I would live there if I could I fantastic."
"Great location - within 10-15 mins walking distance from most of the main sites. There’s also a metro station about 4 mins walk for visiting the other sites. It’s also a 4 mins walk to the meeting points for most tours. Hotel room - double bed was actually a double bed! :) Not two singles put together. Good amenities provided such as disposable slippers, shower gel, separate shampoo and conditioner, hand gel, body cream, face towels. Surprisingly no bathrobe was provided given the Hilton name but still a good hotel room overall. Cleanliness - generally clean but have knocked 1 star off because a couple of the towels had other people’s hair on them when I arrived. However these were replaced with clean ones during room cleaning. Staff - good level of spoken English and understanding. Most of the staff were friendly. They were able to accommodate my request for a quiet room. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for its convenient location."
"I stayed at Moxy Bucharest Old Town from 22–25 August 2025 and really enjoyed my experience. The hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of the Old Town, which made it easy to explore the city on foot. The room was very clean and comfortable, perfect for a short city break. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with any questions. Overall, a modern and well-run hotel that I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Bucharest."
"The hotel is not very far from the old town. It takes 15 min to walk to the old city, but it is fine. The breakfast buffet costs 12 EUR and the choices are fine."
"The hotel looks exactly like the photos. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the old town. The restaurant on the ground floor serves delicious food, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others."

RRoss’sI had such a lovely stay at the InterContinental. The staff were warm, attentive, and made my work anniversary extra special with a thoughtful gesture. The room was spotless, the atmosphere elegant yet relaxing, and everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options. Everything was perfect — I highly recommend staying here!
GGuest UserGrand Hotel Continental Bucuresti Review Having recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Continental in Bucharest, I can confidently say this establishment lives up to its grand name. The hotel exudes classic elegance, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. A truly commendable establishment that I would heartily recommend to fellow travellers.

The rooms are a true highlight, exhibiting a harmonious blend of luxury and comfort, with plush bedding, state-of-the-art amenities, and breathtaking views of the vibrant city of Istanbul. The attention to detail was evident, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness and a keen eye for aesthetic elegance. The culinary offerings at the hotel are exceptional. Each dish I tried was a dance of flavors, paying homage to the rich culinary heritage of Turkey while also offering a variety of international cuisines to suit every palate. The dining atmosphere was equally commendable, providing a pleasant backdrop to every meal. The hotel’s location is highly advantageous, offering easy access to a myriad of Istanbul’s attractions, shopping destinations, and dining options. Whether one is in the city for business or pleasure, the Elite World Grand Hotel’s location ensures convenience. MMCUZZAOur stay at the Mercure Bucharest was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided us with amazing suggestions for places to visit in Romania, turning our holiday into an incredible experience. Her local knowledge and enthusiasm made all the difference, guiding us to hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start our days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to Bucharest's main attractions and public transport. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
GGuest UserOur stay at the Continental Hotel in Bucharest was mostly pleasant and comfortable. The hotel itself is well-maintained, offering a great ambiance and excellent amenities. The food served at the restaurant was delicious, and the restaurant staff were warm, accommodating, and attentive to our needs. However, our experience at check-in left something to be desired. The female front desk staff member we interacted with was not particularly helpful. When we asked if the tap water was safe to drink, her response was dismissive, stating she didn’t know and suggesting we purchase water from the hotel instead. Similarly, when we inquired about the possibility of an early breakfast due to our early departure for a day trip to Peles Castle, she was uncooperative and rigid, insisting breakfast was strictly served at 6:30 AM. Thankfully, the restaurant staff went above and beyond. When we arrived at 6:15 AM, they graciously opened the doors early and welcomed us, allowing us to grab some food before we left. Their professionalism and kindness turned around what could have been a frustrating situation.
GGuest UserWhat a beautiful hotel! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It wasn’t a great location to walk to many of the sites in Bucharest. Good morning breakfast buffet was well worth it! Thank you to Mr. Christian for his kindness & professionalism. Even the elevator always smelled nice!
DDesmond solo travelLocation consider good. 9 mins walk from Piata unirii 1. Room is clean, common area clean, shower rooms clean. Kitchen consider clean as well.
