Location is real good if you will like to visit bazaar or the landmarks, tram station is just in front of the hotel. Night time is a bit quite in this area. Only the cleanliness is terrible, some red mark is on the chair, we move away the bed and found the dirt under the bed. Breakfast is good for me ! If you really mind about the cleanliness than advise not to stay. Room is like renovated not too long ago, but lack of maintenance. Light is broken, not idea why they could not repair. Housekeeping must saw and why did not report?

Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City: Refined Comfort and Remarkable Service (Room 3219) As someone who travels frequently for both professional and personal reasons, often staying in dozens of hotels across different countries each year, I’m not easily impressed. Yet, my recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City genuinely stood out. It’s a property that masterfully combines thoughtful design, polished service, and a location that captures the very essence of Istanbul’s history and rhythm. An Experience Worth Remembering Location & Access Situated in the heart of the city’s historic core, this hotel makes exploration effortless. From here, it’s just a short walk to the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, and several key transport links. The setting feels authentic and lively; ideal for guests who want proximity without sacrificing comfort. Room 3219 – Exceptional Comfort The room offered a superb balance of functionality and elegance. It was impeccably clean, featuring plush bedding, perfect lighting for reading or work, and a surprisingly quiet HVAC system, a rarity in city hotels. Small details, like the scent of fresh linen and a spotless bathroom, reinforced the sense of care behind the housekeeping standards. Service & Staff The staff are the heartbeat of this property. Every interaction, from check-in to checkout, reflected professionalism anchored in genuine warmth. They anticipated needs before being asked, making the experience feel personal rather than procedural. This consistency across teams’ front desk, dining, and housekeeping speaks volumes about the culture of service within the hotel. Dining Experience Breakfast was both indulgent and efficient. The buffet selection was diverse, featuring beautifully presented dishes that catered to both international and local palates. The staff handled the morning rush with grace and precision, maintaining quality and attentiveness without any sense of haste. Facilities & Ambience Public areas were spotless and aesthetically cohesive. The fitness and spa areas were well-maintained, creating a serene environment ideal for unwinding after long days in the city. The lounge and lobby were comfortable enough to double as workspaces, a feature that frequent travelers will appreciate. The One Minor Quirk I noticed some early-morning noise, mostly the seagulls, a distant metro vibration, and a faint scratchy sound around 6 a.m. While this didn’t detract from the overall stay, it’s worth noting for lighter sleepers. It’s a subtle reminder that even in the most refined settings, Istanbul’s energy has its own morning rhythm. Final Thoughts What defines the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City isn’t just its luxury—it’s the consistency of experience. Every aspect feels considered and intentional. Having stayed at countless hotels across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, it’s rare to find one that strikes this balance of local charm and international polish. I often recommend property to colleagues who travel as frequently as I do, and this one has already made it to the top of that list. It leaves one wondering: how might the experience differ in another season, on a higher floor, or in one of the suites overlooking the skyline? Would the same quiet elegance and seamless service hold up under different conditions? Those are questions I find myself curious to explore again, perhaps sooner than I planned.

The room was excellent, clean and hygienic, with a small rooftop terrace offering a glimpse of the sea. The hotel's location is super convenient; right outside is the Istanbul University station for the T1 tram line. It's only about a 15-minute ride to Hagia Sophia, and just a few more stops to the European side ferry terminals, which is very handy. The breakfast at the hotel was outstanding, with a wide variety of choices. The bread was freshly baked in a small oven right there, and they even had an entire honeycomb to enjoy – incredibly generous! The hotel service was also top-notch. We arrived on an early morning flight, and the kind lady at the front desk enthusiastically helped us check in early. We were able to have a refreshing shower and seamlessly start our day of sightseeing. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, close to attractions and cafes. I highly recommend dining at OBA restaurant (exit the hotel, turn right, then take the second left and walk about 150-200 meters, the restaurant will be on your right). They have great prices and delicious food. The hotel itself isn't bad, with excellent front desk staff, but the room cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. There were four of us, but they only left three large towels, and slippers were hit-or-miss. Coffee and tea were also only provided for three people 😅. The front desk staff really saved the day, providing extra tea, coffee, and water. A huge thank you to them!

Excellent hotel. The service was very efficient and quick. Daily cleaning and replenishment of supplies. They also responded instantly to requests for something to be brought up (we ran out of shower gel, and it was with us in 3 minutes). On the downside, there's no soundproofing (every door slam in the hallway sounds like it's in your room), and voices are so audible you could practically join in the conversation. Interestingly, in this hotel, you don't hear the call to prayer in the mornings, which is a valuable feature for Istanbul.

Overall, I’m okay with this hotel because, when I travel alone, I enjoy a bit of adventure. It’s located in a nice area full of restaurants and offers a great view from the balcony. Honestly, the balcony was the main reason I booked this hotel, and it was worth it — I had a relaxing time with some snacks and beer. The rooms look nicely decorated and quite modern. At first glance, the hotel appears clean, but the reality is different. There’s dust in every corner, mold in the shower cabin, and hair on the bed under the sheets (as seen in the photo). To be honest, the sheets were clean. The blanket was in the wardrobe, but I can’t say for sure if it was freshly laundered. Part of the mirror in the bathroom was broken (as seen in the photo). One downside was the kettle cord, which was too short to reach the power outlet (as seen in the photo). I had to move the kettle next to the bed and plug it in there. Regarding the service, I wouldn’t say they were particularly friendly, unlike other hotels I’ve stayed at in this area. When I arrived, there was some arguing downstairs. Later on, they had difficulty providing the Wi-Fi password, and there was no one at the reception when I left the hotel at 6 a.m. the next morning. I simply left the keys on the desk and manually opened the sliding doors by force. All of these issues might make you hesitate to stay here, but I honestly enjoyed my stay. It’s a nice place, with a relatively decent room and a very good price. If you’re a single traveler and not too picky, this could be the right place for you.

Great location. Friendly staff. A good breakfast. Very clean. Only drawback was when trying to arrange a hotel transfer to the airport. There was a bit of dishonesty from one of the reception staff about the price who tried to take a bit more than was the going rate was. We were originally quoted €50 for a minibus from one member of staff - when we came back another member said it would be €60 - when we told him we were quoted before he backtracked saying that he forgot to add the discount. Was obvious that he was trying to take the difference for himself which really was a stain on what was otherwise a really pleasant stay. I would definitely come back again despite this.

We were originally very happy with our experience of this hotel but unfortunately on the second to last night of our stay somebody opened our room door and tried to enter at 3:00am in the morning. Luckily we kept our door on chain so they couldn't come in, we shouted at the man and they said they were hotel security. There was no knock, no warning so of course this scared my wife and my daughter and we couldn't get back to sleep again and felt unsafe for the rest of our stay. Hotel staffed explained this was their security checking empty rooms if this is the case then the hotel needs a new or review their system to be 100% sure the rooms are empty before trying to enter. Not sure we can recommend or would want to stay at this hotel again in future.

A lovely oasis amidst the busyness of the streets. All the front desk staff, breakfast, and cleaning staff were warm. The rooms are spacious and charming, some with incredible views. But what I'll really remember about this hotel is the breakfast! With so many options, including Western, local flavours, and homemade cakes, rotating daily, this is a well-done, calm breakfast experience.

GGuest UserHampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu: Genuine Smiles, Seamless Comfort, and Turkish Warmth After countless nights spent in hotels around the world, it takes something special for a property to truly stand out. My recent stay at the Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu did just that; not through extravagance or grand gestures, but through authentic hospitality and effortless comfort. This is the kind of place that quietly wins you over, one thoughtful interaction at a time. The Perfect Blend of Ease and Energy Location & Setting Zeytinburnu might not be the first name that comes to mind when travelers think of Istanbul, yet this area surprised me. It’s strategically positioned close enough to reach Sultanahmet and Taksim with ease, yet far enough to escape the tourist crowds. The hotel itself feels like an oasis of calm within the city’s heartbeat. Step outside, and you’re minutes from transportation links, local eateries, and the Marmara coastline. Design & Comfort The moment you step into your room, you sense Hilton’s signature attention to detail—simple, modern, and purposeful. My room was bright, immaculate, and well-designed for both rest and work. The bed offered the kind of support that makes long travel days melt away, and everything, from lighting to Wi-Fi, worked exactly as it should. Small touches, like perfectly laundered linens and crisp air quality, added a layer of comfort that felt quietly luxurious. Hospitality That Feels Personal While the property itself is well-maintained, what truly makes this hotel memorable are the people behind the front desk. Fatih Tuna and Ömer are two names I won’t forget anytime soon. Their professionalism is effortless, and their kindness feels completely natural; no rehearsed smiles, no scripted greetings. Whether it was assisting with directions, offering local dining suggestions, or simply greeting guests with warmth that instantly puts you at ease, both Fatih and Ömer demonstrated a level of hospitality that’s rare even among top-tier hotels. They are the kind of hosts who remind you that genuine service can transform an ordinary stay into a meaningful experience. It’s no exaggeration to say that they embody the best of Turkish warmth; courteous, humorous, and always ready to help without ever feeling intrusive. Breakfast & Shared Spaces Breakfast each morning felt more like a pleasant ritual than a hotel buffet. The spread was abundant and fresh, featuring local cheeses, eggs, fruit, pastries, and strong Turkish tea that was hard to resist. Staff managed the flow smoothly, keeping everything replenished while maintaining the sense of calm that regular travelers quietly crave. The public areas, especially the lobby, were clean, cozy, and inviting. Whether grabbing a quick coffee, catching up on emails, or chatting with staff, the space encouraged connection rather than mere transit. Small Note The only subtle reminder that you’re still in a lively city comes from occasional distant traffic or early-morning sounds from outside. It’s faint and fleeting, more of a whisper than a disturbance. For light sleepers, a higher floor or a room facing inward may be ideal. Lasting Impression What sets Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu apart isn’t luxury, it’s sincerity. In a world full of polished but impersonal hotels, this one manages to feel human. It’s clean, consistent, and comfortable, but more importantly, it feels caring. As someone who not only travels often but also recommends hotels to colleagues and friends across continents, this property easily earns a place among those I’ll be suggesting again. There’s something compelling about how smoothly everything runs here, and it makes you wonder how the experience might evolve across different seasons or longer stays. Because when a hotel makes you curious to return, that’s when you know they’ve done something right.

GGuest UserIt is an exclusive hotel where the staff is very courteous and tries to do everything for the Guests. We had access to the Executive Lounge. The lounge is okay but there are better ones! Last year the cappuccino wasn't tasty...hasn't changed, still doesn't taste good 😀 but there are plenty of other alternatives. Nevertheless, it is a very good hotel where the staff should be mentioned that they do everything to satisfy the hotel guests.

GGuest UserPerfect location for everything we walked everywhere as the main attractions and bazaars were within 5 mins walking. Left was Hagia Sofia. Palace etc, right were bazaars...straight down was the sea. The hotel was lovely, and breakfast had everything I liked and more. The view from the top was amazing; you could see all across Istanbul. Our room was very clean, and we even had soothing music in the bathroom, which was a really nice touch. I gave 4 stars for amenities because although the hotel has a spa, I was really hoping for a hammam experience and unfortunately it was mixed. If they offered an hour or even part of the day for ladies only, this hotel would be an absolute winner. One small downside was that our taxi couldn’t drop us off or pick us up directly outside the hotel, so we had to walk about 3 minutes. That said, the area felt very safe we walked out at 10pm as two women and felt completely comfortable. There’s even a police station right opposite the hotel! Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it.
