Hotels near Alger Park, Washington D.C.

"I liked hotel's location & cleanliness. Some nearby free 'on street' parking was available. Walls are a bit thin so conversations from neighboring units will be heard. Room was well equipped & larger than average. Only real issue was with electronic door locks. I paid for early check in but couldn't get in at designated time due to hotel-wide issue with doing locks. I got in relatively quickly but other guests were locked out for hours. Based on other reviews, there are a lot of issues with their door lock system. Regardless, I'd consider staying here again."

"The accommodation was very close to the subway station, and the surroundings were clean and quiet. When I first arrived, I was impressed by the spaciousness and convenient amenities. It didn't get stuffy, and the linens were comfortable. I highly recommend it."

"Terrible hotel , sleepless nights !!! all hotel rooms equipped with very laud noisy heating system without switch off function. I complained first room and staff was very polite and offered different room and ear plugs, unfortunately didn't work. I was slipping 2 nights there with ear plugs but still hearing the noise from heater. I do not recommend this hotel if you expect normal sleep."

"The place was spacious and clean. Highly reccomend if you are coming here. However, bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste as you would need to pay"

"Stayed here two weeks and had a lovely stay."

"The room is very big, and the bed is wide. It is said that it can accommodate three to four people. I originally booked a twin room for my son to stay with me. The hygiene is also OK. There is a supermarket across the street for convenient living. However, I found that the room was not cleaned on the second day. It doesn't matter if I live alone. The room is not messy. However, the drinking water was not replenished. Two fist-sized bottles of water were given on the first day. I returned to the hotel at around 9 o'clock on the second night and found that there was no water. I wanted to go to the supermarket to buy some, but it was closed. There is a small bar on the first floor of the hotel that sells all drinks but no water. I left something behind when I left the hotel. I called and they asked the housekeeping department to contact me, but there was no news. I didn't remember it until I left DC. In general, there is still a lot of room for improvement in all aspects of service."

"Excellent location right near the metro and near lots of restaurants at the naval yard, there's also a metro bus. which cost one dollar which tours the mall at night that you can get on and off."

"Beautiful hotel with lovey décor and accommodations. Easy check in and we were able to get in early."

"There are many rental apartments nearby, mainly for children to study abroad. The hotel is very close to the Anacostia River in Washington, D.C., and there is an open park by the river. The hotel provides free bottled water in the refrigerator at the front desk every day, and no one checks the card for breakfast. The room has an induction cooker and an apartment-style workbench, but no windows that can be opened. The streets are wide and clean, worthy of being the capital. White people can be seen walking leisurely with their dogs from time to time, unlike the narrow streets in Seattle where black homeless people can be seen on the street corners from time to time. The sense of security here has increased."

"The service was great and the free breakfast was great, but we didn’t see anything additional to the experience, but that might have been the fact that we were in the second building and didn’t see much of the first."
