In spite of the previous bad reviews I booked this hotel as they were reopening which I thought meant they have improved the hotel. They should have not opened yet at this stage where they are still fixing the hotel rooms and amenities. Maybe when they're finished renovating and they're fully open, it would be a better time to stay. Stay away if you want a comfy hotel stay. There were 2 incidents of brownout during our stay, on the 2nd one they couldn't fix the problem in our room, while the other rooms had electricity. Maintenance had to go inside our room in the middle of the night. They tried to fix it but eventually had us transfer to a different room at almost 1am. Then we were hoping to sleep in, as we were tired from the previous night's issue, but at 7am the noise of drilling woke us up. Food: Disappointing food choices. They have a restaurant and a coffeeshop. Good coffee and pastries. But on the main restaurant, there were only 3 food choices in our entire 4-day stay: bicol express bagnet, sinigang bagnet and hainanese chicken. Breakfast was dismal, plated tapa/longganisa and egg, then 2nd option bread, ham, egg and sweet sausage. The taste was just okay. At one point we opted to have a breakfast buffet instead at a nearby hotel (M*r*s*n Hotel). Room: The view is definitely fantastic and our room was near the swimming pool which I appreciated. But the room is small. No trashcan in the bathroom, no hangers and laundry bags, but they promptly provided after I asked for it. No rack for towels. No hair dryer and they can't provide one when I asked for it as another guest is currently using it. The bed is not comfy, it is hard and no available room with a king-sized bed. Random noises from the work they're doing in the other rooms so you can't really relax or sleep at day time. One of the keycards kept on malfunctioning so I kept on going back to the lobby to have it reset. Others: Definitely great views and location. Wide open spaces but common areas are usually warm as the airconditioning is off on most areas. Lobby restroom appears clean but smells awful. There is no hand sanitizer or soap. Overall value: Php 5k promo rate and 7k for regular rate per night. It was not worth it. Spa: The staff and massage was great but the spa is still on the works, I even had to play music from my phone as their amenities are incomplete. They could have at least warned us that the hotel is not yet fully functional and renovated. Or they couldv'e just fixed the hotel first before having guests. Staff: The hotel staff was the gem of the hotel as they did their best in spite of the poor situation. They were kind, friendly, quick to respond and professional. Everyone was very helpful and easy to deal with.

The photos are deceptive! the facade looks old faded and rusty. Stayed here for 1 night for business - first the pluses, it's near the airport, in the heart of the city and the front desk / concierge staff was super friendly and warm, the rooms are very spacious and aircon is working great and fine, rooms generally clean. Now the minuses - this hotel is in dire need of refresh and renovation - there are hallways, function rooms and other areas that have peeling paint and mold. The bathroom in my room was not thoroughly clean and smells moldy. No bathrobes. it just smells and ”feels” old. Downside of it being in the city is the street noise - jeepneys and motorbikes passing through will definitely wake you if you're a light sleeper. Hot water is weak or none at all. Food is mediocre with small servings if ala carte, the buffet choices are OK but nothing to write home about. Housekeeping staff are noisy and dont clean thoroughly, i even saw a couple of them catching a nap at the couch in the elevator lobby in my floor... and even sorting laundry like used towels and linens in the staircase! Which forced me to use the elevator even if my room is only on the 3rd floor, which by the way is small - barely fits 6 people with no luggage. Staff is friendly yes, but they all look tired and overworked. I found the towel and bed linen smell a bit funky like they havent thoroughly dried. I definitely won't come back if a had a choice - and there are many in Legazpi city!

We reserved for an overnight stay and here are some points good/average/not so good (I won't say bad because their hotel is new and tourism, hotels are just getting back on their feet from pandemic) The rates: 3,500 for a room What's in the room: 2 queen size bed 👍👍👍 Area is ample for the room 👍👍👍 The Furniture - one hanging desk for your personal stuff and can be used as desk for working using laptops But I think it's not yet fully completed because the outlet is not easily accessible (please provide grommet at the desk for outlet socket access) Kettle is plugged either on the side table or inside the bathroom lavatory counter. -No small fridge (which a 3,500 room rate should have) - Wardrobe open cabinet is nice - space for shoes is okay too! -one bedside table with drawer -rack for luggage -TV and heater (but ours was currently not working so 😩 nah for me) bathroom: a bit tight, shower should be located where the lavatory counter is, and lavatory counter should be at the location of the shower... With Bidet, trash in, tissue, big mirror, spacious lavatory counter, the glass partition should be check, purposed of preventing the water splashing all over the bathroom is not achieved. Please add robe hooks 😊 Complimentaries: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and refillable pump shampoos and conditioner 👍👍👍👍👍 sachets of tea, coffee, sugar, creamer and 2 bottled water Cleanliness: 1 to 10. I give 8 ❤️. Amenities Pool, Cafe, open bar (the bar code) Wide parking spaces Spa and massage rooms Service Guards are polite and gives good assistance especially to pwd's My mom is well assisted. Crew: They are limited but so far needs extra effort when in greeting guests. The tone of greetings and smiling eyes are good impressions for guests. Service - we asked for the luggage cart and it took 20 mins to arrive when we are about to check out. We asked for extra pillow around 5:30pm and it was not provided, we left the room for dinner arrived 10pm And asked again for the pillow. 15mins then it was delivered. Food : complimentary breakfast Is good. With coffee too ❤️ We haven't ordered other in their menu So I can't rate much for the food. Ambience - nice and clean, Bravo! for the stairs, you will never get tiring going up nor down. Elevator is okay to!!! Overall - it's an average stay but with potential to be awesome. And probably next visit would be much better. Looking forward to PROXY BY the Oriental Hotel!!!

Went there for a workshop. Brought along my kid. Twas a good hotel, with the staff following health protocols so we felt safe. The wifi in our room was not that strong so it was a bit frustrating esp when I was working at night. Still, the place was ok. The wifi in the workshop area was ok. Aircon was soooo cold, we had to request it to be shut down for a few hours. There's a pool in the hotel but because of the recent advisory by the Dept of Health and the Ofc of the Mayor, we weren't allowed to use it. Hot and cold shower working properly (I have to say that coz for some hotels this feature usually dont work when there's a lot of guests in the hotel). The hygiene kit didn't cotton buds though hehe.

Very clean hotel, the front desk service is super good, one day at 5 o'clock in the morning will also help arrange breakfast. The hot water is very good, the water is enough, better than most hotels in the Philippines. very satisfied

The hotel is by the sea, a large shopping mall (third floor), the environment is very good; duplex room, sleeping to the upper floor, the lower floor has writing desk, TV series, sofa, bathroom, wardrobe and other facilities; the most praise is facing the sea, you can also see Ma Rong Volcano; the front desk is very dedicated and enthusiastic in answering various questions, thank you very much! The hotel also offers a free drop-off, very intimate, and will have the opportunity to stay at the hotel if you have a chance to go to Legazpi.
