"Dong Li Gu Cun was the most wonderful experience we had in China, with comfortable rooms and delicious meals. The staff is highly receptive and warm, with very good tips for the trip, and attention to details. We felt in heaven, in a awesome scenic area, with the true Chinese spirit.
There are many options of activities throughout the village, from craftsmanship of chopsticks, porcelain, preparation of traditional food and beverages and much more. There are also many activities for children. Special thanks to Xia, Kay and Chen, for the cultural immersion and special attention, since we were the sole foreigners in the village.
We highly recommend the Li River Craftsmen in the Spring Festival if you want to have a traditional experience, and we regret to spend only 4 days there, because we would like to stay at least a whole week. We intend to return in the near future."

"This is definitely a treasure hotel. Although it is a long-established hotel in downtown Guilin and the decoration is a bit old, it has an excellent location. It is on the bank of the Li River, adjacent to the vegetable market, hospital, and Bali Street Night Market Snack Street. It is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and independent of this place. Apart from the hustle and bustle, it is a quiet place in the middle of the hustle and bustle. More importantly, the geographical environment is such that the price is beautiful and very affordable. I really recommend it."

"It is indeed a city view room, given on the 37th floor. The view is super good, overlooking the city of Guilin. The room is also very large, with floor-to-ceiling windows. The breakfast is also OK. GGuest UserThe boss is very enthusiastic. Every time I go to the ancient town of Daxu, I choose to live in their home. It is clean, hygienic, the room is wide, and the bed is big! The room has a good view and is super satisfied! No cotton swab, the boss immediately bought it back and used it for us. It's really sincere and kind. Every stay is like returning to a second home.

We arrived quite late in the evening (around 10:00 p.m.), the hosts were waiting for us. The room provided to us was very spacious, with two large beds, the shower was also large. We did not need anything. But the cleanliness of the room was not ideal.
