My worst experience in any hostel ever (have been travelling all across Europe) I have recently stayed in this hostel. The location is medium dangerous, the building itself is stinky, it is challenging to identify which apar**ent is the guesthouse (not just for me there were two other couples waiting at the entrance). The street is VERY noisy, and windows do not protect you from that, not even the window blind properly from the sun. The apar**ent was spotless clean and the beds were comfy that is the only positive thing I can say. There was only one bathroom with toilet for I don't know how many rooms as I have not checked the whole building, but I would say at least 5 rooms, so 10 people at least. The guy at the reception was incompetent, the management lady very angry and started to shout to me in Portuguese when I flagged an issue that a hand sanitizer was malfunctioning and as a result the product ended up in my face and damaged my brand new coat. The owner who I spoke over the phone neglected his responsibility did not even apologized for the inconvenience or thanked me for protecting other guests from the same issue reoccurring, instead he told me over the phone it was my fault as I pushed the thing too hard without even checking the condition of the facility within his own hostel... This level of customer service is even below zero really. So the whole stuff is extremely rude I would recommend anyone to stay away from this place. Not to mention that there was an air conditioning in the room but if you are unfamiliar with certain set-ups like energy saver mode and night mode you could not get your room heated and it was used as a default setting...
