The room is not big, but there is no TV in the room. There is no slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush. All these need to be prepared by the guests themselves. Also, it is his hotel. Transfer organised by the property was very easy and stress free which was great after a long flight. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is very central right by the market in Mahebourg. Unfortunately the air con was not working which made it very hard to sleep (there was a fan though) and new air con units were delivered while we were there so I guess it will be sorted soon. The room could have been a bit cleaner and the drain in shower was clogged. All in all would benefit from a little TLC but fine for the price and for a short stay

The owner was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. Location is right next to the bus station so very convenient. Also right next to the Monday market. Not a lot to do here, especially on Sunday but very relaxing and easy to get around the island by bus.
