Home after a lovely week at Castello. This is our second time after staying in a hot tub living suite last year. This time we opted for a more budget friendly Smart room. Although not on the same scale (but about 200e cheaper a night) we loved the terrace with direct access to the lovely garden with sun loungers, big comfy bed, double shower, great air con and housekeeping. These rooms are a great option if you do not want to splash out. We loved the sun bathing garden which has direct access to the lake and plenty of loungers. There is also an indoor hot tub that all guests can use. We thought this was a lovely touch, although it is rather heavily chlorinated which hopefully the hotel can rectify (eyes and throat stinging). Breakfast is amazing with so much choice and available until 10:30 if you want a lie in. Location of hotel is perfect - away from the crowds, right on the lake for swimming with paddle boards etc for guests which we enjoyed taking out.

We didn't want to leave this hotel it has got to be one of the best we have stayed in. The rooms were beautiful and so clean the staff were amazing and the attention to detail they couldn't do enough for us. Our breakfasts were outstanding. We will be booking again next year. Thank you again to all the staff in Castello. Karen and Paul Wright x

The pilows are fluffiest i have ever felt… absolutly awesome. Hotel was clean like Mr Proper and hotel servis incredible, we were extremely satisfied. Reception desk was always ready to provide its service with a smile. The parking was include in price..

We came to stay with our friends and celebrated our collective 25th wedding anniversaries. The hotel is in a perfect location with views of the lake and mountains which are quite stunning. Stayed in the junior suite-clean and modern with plenty of space. Comfy beds and a large balcony. Breakfast was a highlight and the staff are super helpful. Walkable to many beautiful restaurants and I just wish we could have stayed longer! I hope to return and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Lake Garda.

My wife and I visited Hotel Castello for our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful time here. Really enjoyed our stay, the hotel was amazing as was our room and the view of the lake and castle is incredible. The location is fantastic. The breakfast offering was incredible and the perfect way to start the day and after a little swin in the lake the whirlpool was a much needed luxury. Marco and Besmir were really superb, great customer service, friendly with a smile and very helpful, the perfect hosts. We would certainly love to return again one day. Hotel Castello is faultless, highly recommended.

The hotel was very nice and clean. excellent location, close to the center. The staff was very nice. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The room was beautifully furnished.Beautiful view from the room. We will definitely come back here.

This is our 7th stay at Hotel Castello lake front which speaks for itself really. There's something special and magical about this hotel from the moment you arrive to thr moment you leave. The staff are amazing and a big shout out for Paul in the restaurant who is very professional but has time to speak to all guests. Look forward to visit No 8

We spent two fantastic days in Malcesine, and Castello Lake front Hotel & Living suite. First of all: The location is something else. Perfekt by the lake, with spectaculair views. The room for 4, was big and very comfortable. Clean, modern and the balcony a dream. It had sunbeds. Everybody slept great! Not to forget the sweet staff: Helpful, warm and with service in the blood. Impressed. The breakfast could be regulair and boring, but was the oposite: Fresh and huge! I have to mention the omlet-station, that also had the best pancakes. The sweet-station, was better than anything I have ever seen. Loved it all! If you are ever able to book a room, with family or anyone you love: Do it. It is SO worth it!

We stayed a few nights in Malcesine in early May. The hotel is located on the lake near the old town, but separate enough not to get any noise from the tourist crowds. We had two rooms, a very nice suite for us, and one of the "smart" rooms for the kids, who are in their early 20s. The smart room was small, but the kids said it was fine. The suite was great, with a great balcony with lounge chairs overlooking the lake. My wife said the tub wasn't comfortable, however. The WiFi was solid and fast, and the breakfast was very good, as were the two dinners we at there. On the Saturday morning that we were there, very loud loudspeakers on a nearby beach started blasting music at 7 a.m. for what appeared to be a road race. To be fair, kids were already running around making some noise a half-hour before that.
