Horrible experience and we’re treated like criminals by the staff. We having issue with our AC and asked if we can try another outlet. I tried one next to our site and still same. I asked the maintenance guy who was helping us if I can try the site next to our family which has 30 and 50 amps outlet. I moved our RV to that site and all of the sudden maintenance guy and two women should up. One woman started giving us instruction in a loud voice that we have to move our RV immediately. As I was trying to explain to her, she said I want you to move your vehicle now and i want to see it with my own two eyes (pointing her two finger to her eyes) or I will cancel your reservation and you will leave the campsite immediately. Staff do not have consideration that we’re in South Florida and temp was 90+ degrees and humid. The woman attitude was despicable and we’ll never set foot in Thousand Trails/Encore facilities again.

I really love this place except for a couple things. One.. the rosters. Nasty birds. I really didn't sit at my picnic table because it was covered with their feces. And the other was everything stops when the snowbirds leave. No amenities. It's beautiful there year round. What not have activities year round. It's their off season yet the park was FULL.

A large chuck of the ceiling in the ladies bathroom had fallen. They put orange cones to block the area. I was at the campground 6 months ago and they had done nothing to repair the problem. The bathroom was a wreck. We had 3 power and water outages over my 3 day stay. It was hot and humid and it would have been great to run my air conditioning in the 88 degree weather. This campground has a lot of potential, but it really needs to be maintained.

Encore Everglades RV Resort full of lies Please read these activities. Not only have we been told there are no cards and games nightly we were told not to try to organize anything because we can't use the tables in the clubhouse that is for park activities of which there are none. There is no Bingo No Daily Exercise No happy hour on the deck no morning coffee on the deck No crafting No night time shuffleboard, the office isn't open in the evening to get the equipment to use. These are all lies! Sonia was very nice but would not budge with putting even a small table in the clubhouse. Instead suggesting to play boardgames outside in the wind and the rain. When asked when the property would be having an event so we may use a table we were told they have no events this time of year. We did ask about cancelling our six months stay so we could go somewhere else but because we paid for it up front and on time as they require we can not get a refund. Now we are stuck here with the lies from Encore and Thousand Trails once again.

Se spent 4 days there in family with our 2 kids. Generally, we had a great time there because of the beautiful pool. But the spa was cold, as the water in the showers (no heat at all!) You must pay 10$ for a laundromat membership and then it’s 1.75$/wash. That doesn’t accommodate travelers like us who want to make only 1 wash. We hung our wet towels and clothes on a 6ft clothesline and we had a warning that we can’t do that because it is written in the rules. So I decided to remove it and put my stuff on my awning’s arms. 2 hours after, someone in the staff came to ask us to remove everything so they will « kick me out of the campground » and these are her words. I told them that nothing was respected in the rule: many long term resident have wooden stairs and it’s written they can’t, many have 4 vehicules or more on their site and it’s written max 2 in the rules, many have tents on their site and it’s written they can’t, many have dollys and it’s written they can’t, many have sewer hose on the ground and it’s written it must be elevated, many have fence on their site and it’s written they can’t, it’s written you can’t have gas golf cart and the staff is running in gas golf cart all day long. Nobody is respecting the rules here (especialy the long term resident and the staff themselves) and they want to « kick out » a small family travelling in their such beautiful country. We have not been respected in this campground contrary to the rest of the campgrounds we have visited during the last years around the whole United States. Finaly, be prepared, chickens on the loose around the sites sing every morning by 5h30!

Our stay was just ok. This was one of our most expensive RV site stays but unfortunately not one of our best stays. The computer was down when we arrived so we had to return to the office to pay our balance. The abundant staff was professional and helpful. Many spots were open however we were assigned a front corner spot with a lot of stopping and starting traffic. Stay was average.

We have been here many times and have always enjoyed it. This time, we were put on a small site under two hugh trees with non English speaking neighbors on each side. There was just enough room for our two chairs and table on the patio. Because we are only here a week, we didn't want to ask to be changed to another site, but as the week worn on, so did the size of the site. I was miserable. Our little puppy had no room to run and let me add poisonous berries from the trees we were under. PLEASE DO NOT put pets under these trees.
