Hotel Cavour

Brera Milan|0.52km from Prodotti Naturali
If your looking for good value than seriously look elsewhere. We've been on a month trip to Italy and a week here has cost us more than a week in Naples, Rome, Lipari and all of those were 5 star hotels and MUCH nicer. Main issues: 1: They nickel and dime you for literally everything. Not only is the hotel extremely overpriced. Extremely small. Tiny bathroom. Extremely old, outdated rooms. Seriously I've stayed at 3 star hotels nicer and cheaper with more facilities than Hotel Cavour Milano. They wanted to charge us $120 Euros to book a taxi to the airport when a taxi from the airport to here last week cost us $27 Euros! Yes it's a hotel they need to make their margin. Yes there's booking fees. But 100 Euro?! Not to mention they charge $30 Euro to use the spa area even though they do not have a normal pool area and spa like every other hotel I've been to, and their spa area only has 1 steam room, 1 cold shower area and that's about it! Biggest waste of 30 Euros ever! 2: Staff friendliness. As soon as we arrived, we were not greeted. Every question you ask is met with the shortest abruptest minimal answer possible. Just yes, no. No explanation or details whatsoever. They really do not want to talk to you. You leave/enter the hotel, and they just look at you, no good day/evening or anything. I've never been to a motel where the staff do not greet you let alone a ”4 star” hotel. Not to mention the air conditioner is preset to turn off and lock itself to 23 whenever you leave the room so when you come back all sweaty and hot you have a nice hot room to greet you and have to manually adjust it and you cannot go below 21. Nickle and diming left, right, and center. Park Hyatt New York was less of a rip off and that was $1200 a night! Positives: 1: Room is well maintained and clean which is nice, but is that really a positive? Shouldn't that be expected? Towels and bathroom towels and toiletries were daily restocked which is more than I can say about the other hotels we stayed at in Rome and Naples, but again as above is that a positive or is that supposed to just be normal?

Palazzo Parigi Hotel & Grand Spa - Lhw

Brera
The classic-style hotel is elegant and the rooms are not very comfortable, but they are quite comfortable. In particular, the choice of bed linen is better than that of a hotel of the same class! If you stay at this hotel, you must not miss the garden breakfast!
New Generation Hostel Milan Center

Brera
The hostel was clean, tidy and the staff were friendly and helped us with any questions and gave us recommendations of where to visit. Having a 24 hr reception was extremely useful as there was always someone to chat too if we needed help. Not being able to take our keys out of the hostel gave us peace of mind that we wouldn’t lose them, so it was nice to simply hand them in to reception and get them back when we returned from our outings. While at the hostel we decided to go to Lugano, Switzerland on the train and we didn’t return to our hostel for over 24 hours, when we arrived back we asked for our keys and all was well with our room etc… If I return to Milan and want an affordable accomodation I would definitely rebook this as it is walking distance in to the centre of Milan also.
Brera Apartments in San Fermo

Brera
We stayed three nights at Brera's Passarella two bedroom apartment. Very good location with San Babila metro a minute's walk away, and great shopping and the Duomo within 5 minutes. The apartment is big and well equipped, comfortable bedrooms and lounge, and a useful kitchen with washer. The only thing I can think to complain about is the hot water system whistles when you take a shower :-) Checkin was great - Brera staff communicated well via SMS and very friendly on arrival. Overall great value for money and a great location.

Brera
the apartment is beautifully located in the Brera district, the apartment is spacious, clean, neat and very well equipped (2 TVs with Netflix, music box, fitted kitchen, large bathroom, large bedroom with wardrobes.. etc), there is nothing to complain about and the prices charged are relatively low for the place, But what makes all the difference and which deserves more than 5 stars is the service offered by the reception staff: Eva and Nicoleta are worthy of a service encountered in the best 5-star palaces, these girls are simply unfailingly professional and kind, every detail, request or wish is organized to perfection before, during and after the stay… a big thank you to Eva and Nicoleta, they will be the reason why I will not hesitate for a second to return to this apartment during my next trips to Milan. I spend the majority of my time traveling for work and leisure and I can guarantee that the little details and attention received especially by Eva during check-in mean that I can only thank them and recommend the BeLate apartments in via Tivoli in Milan

Casa Baglioni Milan - the Leading Hotels of the World

Set on the edge of the artistic Brera district of Milan, home of showrooms, boutiques, and craft workshops, is the Liberty-style Casa Baglioni hotel. Italian architecture is at the helm of this 5 star property which encompasses 30 accommodations amenities, a Michelin-starred eatery, a cafe-lounge, a compact gym, a brand spanking new rooftop facility and boasts of providing interesting tours. The hotel furnishings, crafted by Italian artisans, echoes the famous works of Milanese sculptors and artists. My room was decked out in 1960's inspired decor. A blend of texture and color with a fusion of glass elements added a streaming effect to the atmosphere. The warm palette of blue, walnut, cream and grey complete with an electrified desk provided a homey feel to the surroundings. The bath had significant appeal with brass fittings and a funky, unusually shaped, double sinks. The Michelin-starred restaurant is the Casa's highlight attraction with it's menu of traditional Italian specials accompanied by a dash of East Asian influences. I fell for the fish (pan-fried crustaceans).............heavenly. So , if you want a small boutique hotel that aims to be your home away from home..............then try the...........
