"The floor is not high, the room is big, and the facilities are good. The problem is that I didn't book a disabled room, so why was I given a disabled room? You have to press the button to enter and exit the bathroom door, and it closes automatically, which is not very convenient. There was also a fire drill at 6 o'clock in the morning, which ruined my dream.
The service is quite good, the front desk, concierge, and breakfast waiter are all very good."
"I had a disappointing and unusual experience while using the iPad for every services. The food from room service did not taste good, and it took about an hour for my luggage to be delivered to my room from the reception."
"I was given a corner room which is large and comfortable. However the opera house is only visible if you reach out near the window."

"I was so lucky to choose YHA Sydney harbour The Rock for my first trip in Sydney. The staff at the reception have a warm service attitude and always give a smile, which makes me feel friendly.
It's very well located, just a few minutes' walk from Circular Quay, and it's easy to get anywhere by Train/Line/ferry.
It is worth mentioning that the rooftop of the third floor has an excellent view, and you can lie on the chair at night, blowing the night breeze, and enjoy the most comfortable moment of the day.
The only drawback I would say is that the room is a little small, and the roommate who occasionally came back late may affect other‘s sleep."
"When we arrived, it was not yet time to check in. After receiving us, they helped us put away our luggage. When we went back to check in again, they helped us deliver it to the room. The service was very considerate. The swimming pool, small hot spring and gym on the top floor are open to guests from 6:00 to 21:00, which is very good for people who are short of time during the day and want to exercise.
Seeing that we are not familiar with English, they specially used mobile phone translation software to do English input and translation for us. There are also waiters who know some Chinese at the front desk.
It is close to the port and next to the so-called most beautiful subway station because it connects the psychology volunteer and the cross-sea bridge, and there are many attractions around it."
"The check-in and check-out process is courteous and quick. Breakfast was at a hotel nearby and the food and variety were excellent. We did not use the facilities but were told their spa was recommended. There was a clothes washing machine and detergent provided which we used. It is of 1 room apartment hotel type and as there were 3 of us the sofa in the living room was converted to a bed. Overall our stay was comfortable and we can have a restful sleep. The location is close to tram and train stations and is good for moving around Sydney CBD and its environs including the airport. It is also close to attractions like Circular Quay and The Rocks. There was ongoing renovation but it did not bother us. The place was air-conditioned, but we did not use it as the apartment's temperature was comfortable enough."
"Service: All the staff were friendly and hospitable.
Cleanliness: Clean and well maintained.
Facilities: Poor compared to hotel grade.
- The pool is too small.
- Gym Facilities Are Too Poor
Location: BEST
The hotel is old and the facilities are worn out overall. However it was clean and well maintained
The best thing about this hotel is the location.
The view from our room on the harbour side was so stunning and impressive.
However, the size of the room was too small and inconvenient.
So overall, I'd give it about 4 out of 5 stars."
"Pleasant place in good location . Needs a little love or a coat of paint in the bathroom. Very comfy beds.
Has all you need and nothing extra. Pleasant staff some more helpful than others."
