For a budget style Japanese inn this place was wonderful.
The location is hard to find but makes up for it with the almost total quietness.
Owner is very welcoming and happy to please.
The communal bath though old is just what is needed.
The large rooms though starting to fray are okay.
Breakfast was wonderful with a daily changing menu.
Recommend.

聖山荘まで行く道が途中からとても狭くてビックリしました。軽自動車だったので私の運転でも行けましたが普通自動車だと私の運転テクでは無理だったかと…。
お風呂が24hだったので有難かったです(^^)

南房総市冨浦にある民宿で通年営業しています。すれ違い困難な狭い道を進んでいった奥にある民家です。 建物がたくさんあり、宿泊する棟と風呂は違いますが、24時間入浴できます。 広い部屋に一人で泊まりました。民宿なので布団は自分でひきます。 食事が充実した宿で、今回は、県民割利用なので、伊勢エビ付き贅沢プランにしたので、房州海老刺身、魚刺身、野菜天ぷら、イサキ煮魚、煮物、サラダ、釜飯、味噌汁、香の物、フルーツと充実の品でした。伊勢海老は翌日の味噌汁に具足煮として出されました。 部屋食で、配膳、片付けはセルフになりますが、アルコールは持込でき、全体としてお手軽値段で豪華な料理を楽しめました。 フルサービスを期待する人はホテル、旅館を利用すればよく、セルフでお手軽値段で魚を満喫したい人にはお薦めの宿です。

宿までの道が狭く、近所のうちの伐採をしていて、駐車場まで行けず、、その後の指示なし、着替えることもできず、何度も様子を見に行き、車を移動した、外部においていいのかの説明が欲しかった。

宿は良き昭和と言う感じです。
料理も沢山出て来て大満足でした。
宿の方も親切で感じも良かったです。
ただ口コミにもありましたが、
宿に行くまでの道が狭い。
ＳＶ者で行ったので、車を擦らないか、ヒヤヒヤものでした。
また行きたいです。
その時はレンタの軽自動車で行きます。
