The environment here is excellent, offering great value for money, and the service is superb. It's just a two-minute walk from the Hengshan mountain entrance, and the owner even arranged car transfers. The entire room is smart and very spacious. This is a highly recommended place to stay when visiting Hengshan.

The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, reaching out to guests in advance and even offering a pick-up service. The location is absolutely fantastic, right on the mountainside of Hengshan, next to the hiking entrance. It's about a 2.5-hour round trip to hike up and down, which saves you money on the scenic shuttle bus and cable car fees. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the food is very reasonably priced 😊. I highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers! 👍

The room was spacious and the bedding was clean, which I was very satisfied with. The only downside was that parking was only allowed on the sidewalk, and not in front of the hotel; you had to park in front of someone else's house, which made me a little uneasy. Overall, it was pretty good.

All the main attractions are within walking distance, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is newly renovated, clean, and well-maintained. The bed in the room was incredibly comfortable, and all the facilities were complete and of good quality – no compromises here. It was lovely to sit by the window with a cup of tea, watching the relaxed pace of life in the ancient city. There's also a parking lot in the back, which is great if you're driving. This hotel is definitely my top choice for visiting Hengshan or exploring the old town.

My daughter and I made plans to see a JJ Lin concert in Beijing. She mentioned the spectacular thousand-year-old wooden pagoda in nearby Datong's Yingxian County, so we decided to visit Datong. When we booked a hotel, we found a fantastic deal, so we booked five nights, only arriving in Beijing for one. Once we arrived, we discovered Datong is truly a gem. The temperature was a comfortable 20 degrees Celsius, and the attractions were breathtaking, from the natural wonders—the earth forests and volcanic clusters—to the cultural and historical attractions—the Yungang Grottoes, the Datong Museum, the Hanging Temple, the wooden pagoda, and the Huayan Temple. I highly recommend this B&B. It's clean, the service is excellent, and the location is fantastic. In the morning, when I opened the curtains, I could see the sunrise over the mountains—a breathtaking view. It's also conveniently located near the train station, just a 10-minute bike ride to the ancient city. The shopping mall is just around the corner, and the famous Long Juxiang is right there—delicious food with no lines. The best part is, I expected the proximity to the train station to be noisy, but it was incredibly quiet. Otherwise, I would have stayed a few more days to catch the concert in Beijing. Datong was the main attraction of this concert trip, and the concert itself took a back seat. I was so happy!

There is a self-provided backyard parking lot. Service: OK. It was a temporary decision to visit the Hanging Temple Hengshan the next day, so I decided to stay nearby for convenience the next morning. I didn’t choose much when I looked at the hotel on the platform, thinking that the newly opened ones should have better facilities. When I checked in at the hotel front desk, I was told that I had upgraded the room type to a higher floor. Although the room is not big, it is small but complete, and it is convenient to stay for one night and the next day. The village is quiet and restful at night, and the breakfast is basically satisfactory, with coarse grains, staple food, protein, fruits and vegetables, and yogurt.

Their home is still very close to the scenic spot, the hotel environment is very good, parking spaces are also very sufficient, the 3rd floor can directly see the Hengshan Scenic Area environment is very good, go to the hanging temple at 4 o'clock in the middle of the night to board the ticket, you can grab it.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is the right place to stay when visiting the Hanging Temple and Jin Temple. The room and bed are large, especially suitable for bringing children. It is no problem for a family of three to stay in a big bed. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The breakfast is also very good. Overall, it is very cost-effective.

Let me talk about the pros. The breakfast was quite plentiful and tasty, 68 yuan per person. Our child, being 15, paid an extra 40 yuan. We booked three rooms together. The rooms were decent for a five-star hotel, and the lobby was beautiful. Now for areas for improvement. Aside from the good security guard at the entrance, the service could be better. Since it's a hot spring hotel, the hot spring itself is important, but it was rather mediocre. Of the 12 pools, some were 58 degrees Celsius, some 48 degrees, and only a few were usable and small. Also, because so many people were crammed into a few pools, they became quite dirty. All three families stayed for an hour before leaving. There were too many access control points. For a hotel in such a remote area, I don't understand why there were so many access control points and card swiping systems; it was very inconvenient. I didn't intend to give a low score because the front desk gave us a complimentary breakfast, which was a concession.

The hotel's meticulous service was particularly commendable: upon learning we were traveling by car, they proactively offered suggestions on nearby transportation. This provided a perfect way to relax after a long journey. The excellent location, comprehensive facilities, and personalized service complemented each other perfectly, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay. It wasn't just a place to rest during our trip, but also a part of a wonderful memory. This will definitely be our top choice for our next visit, and we will highly recommend it to our friends and family!
