"We had an excellent stay at Meijing Hotel, primarily due to the exceptional staff who were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh options served in a spacious dining area, and the hotel's prime location put us within easy reach of shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Our only complaint was that our non-smoking room had a lingering cigarette smell upon arrival, though staff promptly provided an air purifier to address the issue. While we would absolutely stay again for the outstanding service, we hope they can improve their smoke control measures for an even better experience next time."

"The location is not too bad, it is within a cluster of many newly built homestays. I chose this place for its zen design style and it is newly opened, and i read in thr review that there was free coffee provided during breakfast. Therefore i was rather dissappointed when i found out that there is no such thing, coffee is chargeable. I was glad that i brought my own drip coffee to supplement the breakfast. Although my room was eligible for 2 breakfasts, i was only provided with 1 set of breakfast and not offered any replacement for the other breakfast set that i did not take. The room size is just nice for 1 person with luggage. Bathroom+toilet was quite large in comparison to the bedroom. My room overlook the opposite facility, the window can be opened to let in fresh air. There is washing machine+dryer on the ground floor. The girls at the lobby was nice to help me manage my laundry. I was glad that i could use the large table at the lobby for my work. It is an irony that there is a non smoking signboard in the room together with an ashtray...."

After a round of selection, we finally booked Sheraton. Overall, we were satisfied. ① Location. It is outside the East Gate, very close to Heyang Gate. It takes only ten minutes to walk slowly. After entering the East Gate, you will reach the Fahua Temple in the ancient city. There are many supermarkets around, which is very convenient. My children like the knife-cut noodles at Wutong Noodle House. ② Room. Because it is new, the hardware is good. We booked an executive family room. The room is large and six bottles of water are provided every day, which is enough. The bed is big enough, the pillow is OK, and the quilt is too thick. Children's slippers and toiletries can be provided. The bad thing is that the sound insulation is really average. I had to knock on the door next to it at night. The noise of the children inside was a bit loud. Also, I don't know why the room is so hot without the heater on. It doesn't work even with the windows open. The outdoor temperature is zero degrees at night and 15 degrees during the day. I don't know why the room is so hot and dry. The hotel provides a humidifier and a large pot of water at night. You don't have to wait too long for the elevator, which is convenient ③ Breakfast Breakfast is on the first floor. The dining environment is a bit cold near the door. The food hygiene is good in all aspects. There are Chinese and Western noodle stalls with porridge, soup and milk. You can eat different food for three days. ④ Service Overall, it's OK. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the team went the extra mile to help us register on their app as we are foreigners, ensuring we could easily access Wi-Fi and contact them if needed. We had called ahead to request a humidifier and air purifier, and were pleased to find them already prepared in our room when we checked in. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the inclusion of an electric toilet with a heated seat was a thoughtful touch, especially during the winter season. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was genuinely helpful and sincere in their service, always making sure we were well taken care of. We initially planned to stay from 6/12/24 to 8/12/24 but felt so at home that we decided to extend our stay for an additional two days. A big thank you to the team at Mecure Hotel for their exceptional service and attention to detail. Me and my Husband had agreed this is best hotel in our 17 days China trip. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning in the future. Great job!"

"A very cozy B&B. It is located in the north of the ancient city, not far from the Sculpture Museum. Parking is very convenient. Parking is available at the door of the B&B except during special periods. It is very suitable for friends who drive by themselves. The boss and his wife are very nice, a very down-to-earth couple, they work hard at the business and are very comfortable. Breakfast was made by someone and it was delicious during my two-day stay. The homemade noodles are as good as the noodle shops outside. I can have a full breakfast and then go have some fun. Facilities: They are basically smart devices. The charging sockets are equipped with USB and C ports. They are very convenient to use and eliminate the need to bring sockets. Hygiene: A very clean B&B, very new in every aspect. Because it is non-smoking, it is very comfortable to stay. Environment: Very warm environment, very quiet at night, very nice to stay. However, in the peak season, there may be martial law in the ancient city. If you take a taxi at night, you will not be able to get in. It is only more than 1 kilometer away. It may not be realistic due to cost considerations, but it would be more convenient if the store has bicycle rentals"

"Excellent stay. Everything was perfect. Only problem we encountered was WIFI in the room as it was updated few days before we checked in. However, once we asked to check it, the problem was immediately taken care and it was fixed next day. Gave us restaurant recommendation as well as tourist spots in Dayton. Also arranged a day hire which was very reasonable price. Extremely satisfied and highly recommended!!"
