"In the morning, I saw the sunrise over Hengshan Mountain from the 20th-floor buffet restaurant. In the evening, fireworks lit up the street outside my window. Enjoying a cup of coffee by the electronic bonfire at midday was the most pleasant moment. I spent an unforgettable Spring Festival holiday in Huai'ren, Shanxi. Thumbs up to Ms. Cheng at the front desk, Ms. Tang in room service, and Ms. Mulan in the breakfast restaurant for their meticulous and thoughtful service! 👍"

"I was a bit worried after seeing some reviews mentioning the hotel facilities were old, but after checking in, I found the environment to be much better than I expected. My grandparents were also very satisfied. It's very close to the ancient city wall, only about a 20-minute walk, which is very convenient. The staff were all very friendly and provided thoughtful service without being overly enthusiastic. They basically met every request. On the night I arrived, my charging plug broke, and the staff quickly brought me a spare one from the hotel. The turn-down service was a lovely touch :) Also, the hotel dinner was delicious. I highly recommend the sweet and sour pork, it was really good."

"This trip to Datong was an exceptionally wonderful stay! The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Datong Ancient City, making getting around and sightseeing incredibly convenient. The self-service breakfast included a variety of local Datong delicacies. I highly recommend the freshly made knife-cut noodles and the lamb offal soup – both authentic and delicious. The hotel amenities are comprehensive, featuring recreational facilities such as a gym, billiard room, and table tennis room, perfect for relaxing and unwinding during downtime. What deserves the most praise is the hotel's warm and thoughtful service! A special thanks to front desk staff member Li Hui, who, upon learning we had a high school exam student in our party, proactively offered a free upgrade to a student-friendly room type and even thoughtfully provided complimentary welcome fruit. Such a warm gesture made us feel incredibly touched. Extending kindness and love through service to warm guests – I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again next time I visit Datong!"

"The cleanliness and service rating goes to Aunt Jin on the tenth floor. Aunt Jin is incredibly responsible and would ask us every day if we needed anything. Seeing that we had children, she proactively offered kids' toiletries, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. One day, we came back after going out to find Aunt Jin had prepared lime juice for us, which was truly heartwarming. However, the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant really need some serious training. On the day we checked in, because we had two children, I casually asked if we could get an upgrade. I wasn't trying to be difficult, and we would have been fine if an upgrade wasn't possible, as we had originally booked a YunYa Twin Room. But the front desk staff had a very unpleasant expression. If you're unable to do something, you can just say so directly, instead of telling us we'd been upgraded to a Family Room, only for me to check on Trip.com and see that all Family Rooms are above the 20th floor, and we were still given a YunYa Twin Room. What's the point? It made us feel really uncomfortable. The breakfast hostess was the same. Every day, she'd stop us, saying we only had two breakfasts. I paid the extra on the first day, but then every single day! We had breakfast for 5 days, and every day she'd stop us and say we only had two breakfasts! The handover between departments and staff is terrible. The breakfast area, too – breakfast ends at 10:30 AM, but before 10 AM, there was no cold milk left. After I informed them, they said they'd restock, but they never did, telling me to go to the Wyndham next door to get some… Sigh, in short, having stayed in so many hotels, these are genuinely first-time experiences for me."

"This hotel definitely deserves five stars. The rooms are spacious and well-arranged. All the amenities, including the kettle, coffee machine, and even the toiletries, are from well-known brands. The room also features AI voice service, which is very convenient and practical. The entire hotel is exquisitely decorated, with large and luxurious elevators. The hotel isn't far from the ancient city, and there's a Wanda Plaza about 1 kilometer away, making shopping and dining very convenient. The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options; it was quite busy during my holiday stay, with most tables full. I booked late and the hotel was fully booked, so I had to wait until the second day to get an available room. It's a highly recommended hotel, and I've already recommended it to many friends."

"I forgot to leave a review before, but even though the facilities aren't top-notch, the environment was quite peaceful. I'm not sure if it was because I requested a quiet room when booking, but our three rooms were on a floor where there were indeed no noisy drunkards or unruly children. Being able to get a good rest makes it a decent hotel. Some hotels, despite having great facilities, have terrible management, which is pointless... Breakfast was average; the lamb offal soup was pretty good, but you can't expect too much from breakfast at this level of hotel. Both service and breakfast were pretty standard, and overall, it wasn't a rip-off."

"The hotel's location is superb; it's the perfect choice for exploring the old city, with all the sights and great food nearby. The hotel is very clean, the restaurant food is delicious, and the staff provide excellent service. As I was traveling alone and wanted to try local specialties, the staff kindly reduced the portion sizes, which was great – tasty and no waste! The room facilities are new, but there's a minor issue: the sink and shower are in separate areas, and the bath towels are kept under the sink. This makes it inconvenient to grab a towel after showering. If you take it into the shower beforehand, there's nowhere to hang it. Perhaps a hook could be added?"

"An exceptional hotel! Great location near the Datong City Wall with easy transportation. Rooms are clean, affordable, and come with very soft pillows and blankets. I was deeply touched by the housekeeping staff who left me a lovely note daily and even gave me balloons. This is by far the most impressive stay I've ever had. Breakfast was huge and delicious, and the restaurant is beautiful. I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit!"

"Our stay was absolutely fantastic! From the airport pick-up, to checking in, and all the way to checking out, everything was smooth and pleasant. All the staff, from those handling the airport transfers, to the front desk, housekeeping, and other services, were incredibly warm and caring. You could really feel their genuine dedication to service and their passion for working at Nian Xia (Summer in the Southeast). The room itself was great too, with welcome fruits and all the amenities you could need. It's also super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. Plus, with your room key, you get free entry to the Nian Xia Art Museum, which features INART and Tiankai sculptures – absolutely amazing!"
