ZZhendebutianmaSuper super warm homestay! New Year's Day to Datong New Year's Eve, the weather is too cold and the fever is directly frozen... Shuai, Jingjing, Yuan and Honghong four staff really gave us a lot of help to send medicine and water, and also helped us change to a room with better and warmer sunshine. Everyone in the store is very enthusiastic. There is a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off. The store parking is also very convenient. The breakfast is also very rich. The decoration design of the homestay is also very local. When I returned, Shuai Shuai and Jingjing helped us carry our luggage in the store and sent it to the parking lot ～ A homestay I like very much. If I come to Datong again, I will definitely choose here 😚.

GGuest UserLocated right in the heart of the ancient city, this hotel is a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The room was spotless and exceptionally well-appointed, featuring premium toiletries, an electric toothbrush, a Dyson hairdryer, and even a smart toilet. The entire courtyard is incredibly charming, offering a true taste of traditional Shanxi architecture. Breakfast in the courtyard was a highlight, and even when it poured rain on the second morning, we enjoyed a unique experience having breakfast under an umbrella. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and approachable; we could even communicate with them easily via WeChat.
My only minor point of feedback is that the duvet felt a bit too thick for summer; we were still quite warm and sweating even with the air conditioning on. However, this might just be a personal preference. Overall, this place is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Datong who's looking for a unique and memorable accommodation experience.

2205853****I highly recommend the Datong Hotel VIP Building. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the service is professional, and its location is convenient for getting around. We booked an Executive View Room, which offered stunning night views of the ancient city. The front desk staff also kindly helped us arrange transportation for our outings, which we truly appreciated.
Initially, we were hesitant to book this hotel due to some negative reviews on Ctrip. However, on our second night, we decided to give it a try, reasoning that it's an established and trustworthy brand. We were absolutely delighted with our stay after checking in!
There were a few minor shortcomings, which I already discussed with the front desk during check-out. I hope the VIP Building continues to improve!
I look forward to my next stay.

They offered a deeper insight into Datong's rich culture, landscape, customs, cuisine, and beautiful sights, truly enriching my experience after exploring the city. 11863307****We arrived at 7pm. The waiter Xiao Zheng warmly received us and instructed us how to take the elevator to the room. In the evening, he also considerately sent us a bowl of longevity noodles. The baby is a big kid, and the shoes provided by the hotel are a bit small. That night, the housekeeper was very enthusiastic to find a pair of suitable slippers for us. The hotel did not have a refrigerator, and the housekeeper brought ice. We always felt that this service was what a resort hotel should have. Because we predicted that the hot spring would be changed that night, we decided to take a hot spring bath the next day. To be honest, the facilities are lacking, and the hot spring water is not live water, and there is no filtration. It started at 9 o'clock, and we went to soak before 10 o'clock. There were already some stratum corneum. The pavilion was filled with new water, but it also needed to be cooled down before we could go. In short, the hot spring facilities need to be improved. In addition, I want to say about smoking control. I hope the service staff can stop guests from smoking in the indoor hot spring area. There are many children, which is very inappropriate.

You can take a bath and be particularly comfortable. The most worth mentioning is that the hotel is really big at fifty-five square meters, and there is a big TV to watch dramas and movies. The floor-to-ceiling windows can see the street view. I really recommend gatherings and accommodations among friends.
