The entire hotel presents a quadrangle courtyard layout with 3 courtyards, and we stayed in Courtyard No. 3 this time. The hotel environment is elegant and the layout is well-organized. Each courtyard has an independent access control system, which fully guarantees the safety and privacy of the guests. The service staff is warm and welcoming, and there is a two-way airport/high-speed rail pick-up service. The housekeeper has been contacted in advance, and the service is thoughtful. There is a rich variety of welcome fruits. The breakfast is a combination of traditional Chinese set meals and some bread, desserts, drinks, fruits, salads, and Western buffets. There is sweet soup and turndown service in the evening. If the pillow options are improved, it will be even more perfect. It is a pleasant stay experience.

Since I went to the mining area to visit customers early in the morning, I got a cup of delicious latte when I went out at 7 o'clock. The morning of coffee is beautiful.
Shuaihuai, he is more like a considerate ”trip family”. His service goes beyond the standard process: every shuttle bus transfer is not mechanical driving, but accompanied by warm greetings and intimate reminders; He took the hand of the luggage, and the masks prepared for our room, the eye masks, these subtle actions, are no substitute for the gorgeous design, from the heart of sincerity.
Aunt, always smiling sister. Her enthusiasm is not professional, but thoughtful from the heart. Whenever she returns to the hotel, she smiles kindly and helps in time.
Regarding breakfast, the category is very good. I paid special attention to sea cucumbers. The quality is still very good. It is not hard, not bitter, and very delicious.

The customizable breakfast was delicious, creating such a cozy atmosphere that we almost didn't want to leave at all. And the location? Absolutely unbeatable! Situated right in the heart of the ancient town, it's a peaceful oasis amidst the lively surroundings. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

2205853****I highly recommend the Datong Hotel VIP Building. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the service is professional, and its location is convenient for getting around. We booked an Executive View Room, which offered stunning night views of the ancient city. The front desk staff also kindly helped us arrange transportation for our outings, which we truly appreciated.
Initially, we were hesitant to book this hotel due to some negative reviews on Ctrip. However, on our second night, we decided to give it a try, reasoning that it's an established and trustworthy brand. We were absolutely delighted with our stay after checking in!
There were a few minor shortcomings, which I already discussed with the front desk during check-out. I hope the VIP Building continues to improve!
I look forward to my next stay.

They offered a deeper insight into Datong's rich culture, landscape, customs, cuisine, and beautiful sights, truly enriching my experience after exploring the city. 11863307****We arrived at 7pm. The waiter Xiao Zheng warmly received us and instructed us how to take the elevator to the room. In the evening, he also considerately sent us a bowl of longevity noodles. The baby is a big kid, and the shoes provided by the hotel are a bit small. That night, the housekeeper was very enthusiastic to find a pair of suitable slippers for us. The hotel did not have a refrigerator, and the housekeeper brought ice. We always felt that this service was what a resort hotel should have. Because we predicted that the hot spring would be changed that night, we decided to take a hot spring bath the next day. To be honest, the facilities are lacking, and the hot spring water is not live water, and there is no filtration. It started at 9 o'clock, and we went to soak before 10 o'clock. There were already some stratum corneum. The pavilion was filled with new water, but it also needed to be cooled down before we could go. In short, the hot spring facilities need to be improved. In addition, I want to say about smoking control. I hope the service staff can stop guests from smoking in the indoor hot spring area. There are many children, which is very inappropriate.
