Excellent
A gem of a 民宿 located within the Datong old city walls. Conveniently located next to a plethora of good eats including 喜晋道 and the ever popular 霸王茶姬，the friendly yet non-intrusive service staff provided excellent service throughout of 4 day stay. Engaging their 商务车 for 2 days to explore around Datong was a great decision as the staff service extended to having hot beverages, biscuits and fruits ready for us coming in from the cold weather. The same service extends to breakfast for which a spread of home cooked dishes are made fresh daily. A great stay and highly recommended.

The overall design is exquisite. The underfloor heating in the room was comfortable, and I loved the scent of the Le Labo toiletries. The bedding was high-quality, ensuring a great night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious, and the location was convenient.

Great hotel with helpful amenities and cleanliness. Only issue was no USB sockets for charging phone, however got lent a charging plug from hotel. Hotel in old style but still fancy.

We had a great stay at this hot spring hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good amenities and a cozy bed. The hotel is about an hour’s drive from the famous Hanging Temple, and there’s a bus running between the Travelers Center and the hotel — just make sure to check the departure time with the front desk. The breakfast was nice, mainly Chinese-style dishes, and the variety was satisfying. The hot spring area isn’t the most impressive I’ve visited, but it was still wonderful to soak in a warm tub after a long day of hiking. Overall, a relaxing and comfortable stay — definitely a good choice if you’re exploring the area.

A fantastic hotel! The bedding was clean, the overall environment was tidy, and the front desk staff were very friendly. The breakfast selection was extensive and comprehensive; even if you went late, it was fine. The hot milk and coffee were delicious, and the self-service latte was especially nice! 😋 The lobby was lovely, the elevators were spacious, and the overall decor was beautiful. The only drawback was the limited availability of smart room controls; I hope they can add features like smart toilets and voice-activated services. Overall, it was a great hotel experience, truly making me feel at home. Highly recommended! 😘
