GGuest UserI canât stop raving about this inn. It is a B&B style three stories tall inn located inside the Datong Ancient City. Complimentary shuttle service between the airport or railway station made it really convenient for out of town travelers. The guest room was clean and equipped with modern facilities like automatic toilets, coded entry, projection screens, etc. The inn is located near the north gate of the city amongst other accommodations. Within minutes of walking is access to the top of the city wall where bike rental is available to ride along the wall. The inn is very quiet at night. The inn is family operated and everyone was very hospitable. What sets this inn apart from other accommodations in the area is their dedication to service. The owner knew I was a tourist and new to the area, she offered to pick me up if I got lost wandering the ancient city. The breakfast came with my reservation. When the owner found out I had to depart before breakfast serving hours, she went above and beyond to prepare food and served me 30 minutes ahead of schedule. The food tasted amazing and came with abundant varieties and huge portions. It was definitely not part of the service to drop off at another venue, but the owner took me to my next accommodation 2km away. I truly appreciate everything this inn and its staff has done for me. I am so glad to have chosen to stay this beautiful little inn on my first night in Datong. I will definitely stay here again without a doubt on my next visit.

GGuest UserThe entire experience is really fantastic. For foreigners coming to China, I would recommend stopping by Datong and staying in this guesthouse. The owner is extremely friendly, providing pick up and drop off service for my family with elderly parents. There is no need to worry about the language barrier as she does her best to make the experience as comfortably as she can. She also sent us to a nearby famous hotpot restaurant. Rose tea and fruits are served every night and her ććéą for breakfast is the best I had of all the noodles I ate in China. Itâs a very homely feel and I would want to go back again. The bed is very comfortable, with Dyson hair dryer and warm water works well. There is a bidet and elevator in the guesthouse. Wonderful experience and ps: this is not a paid review đ

CCamilleTFirst of all the B&B is beautiful and very clean. The Chinese breakfast was delicious.
The staff was very friendly and helpful with us. Communication was easy before our arrival. They pick us by car at the railway station for free, which was very convenient for us! We asked them to arrange a car and a driver to go to Hanging Temple and to the Yungang Grottoes in the same day. Everything was perfect! It was the weekend of Qingming day and the Hanging Temple was very crowded and we could not book tickets in advance. Thanks to the hotel staff we managed to buy tickets and to visit the hanging temple ! Then they drove us to a typical restaurant of Datong and we had a very good lunch with noodles, and then we go to the grottoes. Thank you again to the hotel staff for this stay !! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe location is superb, right within the ancient city. For those driving, parking is available at the Nine Dragon Wall parking lot, just a 100-meter walk away. Despite being in a tourist area, it offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Guandi Temple is also conveniently located nearby. The service was excellent, and breakfast was quite good too. Both the owner and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Although the May Day holiday prices were significantly higher than usual, the convenience made it completely worthwhile. Highly recommended!

KKizzaI had a great one night stay at the Hauting Hotel. Itâs a large, modern hotel conveniently located in a building attached to a big shopping centre, which made it easy to grab food or essentials. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with individual heating and cooling and electric opening and closing window dressings.
The shower had excellent water temperature and pressure, and the bathroom was well-stocked with quality toiletries including shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, and toothpaste. A great bonus was the free laundry facilities. It has a gym also but I didnât try that.
Breakfast featured a nice spread of Asian cuisine, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, a great experience and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend it to others visiting Datong.

GGuest UserA fantastic stay! It truly exceeded my expectations! I stayed in a deluxe king room, which was a perfect size, clean, tidy, bright, and very well-planned. I absolutely loved it. I extended my stay in my original room and had a âXiao Aiâ assistant on call 24/7. She could turn the AC on and off, the TV, play music, and listen to stories. Even a robot brought food to my door. Absolutely amazing!

It is no problem for a family of three to stay in a big bed. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The breakfast is also very good. Overall, it is very cost-effective.
