Cleanliness: Satisfactory
Ambiance: Fantastic
Service: Impeccably managed
This place is truly a paradise, a real wonderland! It felt ethereal with gentle wisps of white mist drifting everywhere. We paid extra to upgrade to a large suite, offering stunning views of the distant harbor.
As soon as we pulled up the hotel's driveway, valet parking was immediately available. Among the staff, one of the valet attendants was a very handsome French guy with an exceptional service mindset. Another staff member, a tall Black gentleman (around 2 meters), even knelt down to enthusiastically explain the room types and hotel facilities to us. We were genuinely impressed and touched by their passionate service. We will definitely be returning for another stay!
The hotel's dining options are also excellent – highly recommend trying them out!

Amazing
GGuest UserA cozy onsen hotel! Round trip taxi between hotel and Beppu station cost ¥4,300. The room is very spacious and and tatami is very comfy. A pleasant surprise by the two delicious meals included and like very much the arrangement of a private room for meal. The staff are super friendly.
AAnonymous UserLove this place! Our glamping experience was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well everything was set up. The tent was spacious, cozy, and beautifully furnished, with all the comforts of a hotel room but surrounded by nature.
The location was perfect—nestled in nature with stunning views and just the right amount of seclusion for a peaceful escape. We were thrilled to find a campfire pit for cozy evenings, even though the rain meant we couldn’t use it. The sound of raindrops on the tent was surprisingly relaxing, though!
WWen Wen 1011The hotel is incredibly luxurious and comfortable, with a wide array of facilities. They offer a shuttle bus service to and from Beppu JR Station. Beyond the hot springs, there are entertainment options like arcade games, a shopping center, and a spa – truly comprehensive facilities. The hotel also provides a 'one-night, two-meals' package, with delicious food, especially the buffet, which boasts a rich selection and high-quality dishes.
SSikiqiThis hotel is perfectly located right in the heart of Beppu's Hells, with attractions literally on its doorstep. All five Hells (Jigoku) are within a 3-5 minute walk, which is incredibly convenient!
While the hotel's exterior is unassuming, its interior is a hidden gem. The Japanese garden in the common areas is beautiful. Our room was spacious with a great view, allowing us to see the steam rising from the Hells. Plus, having a private onsen in the room meant we could soak to our heart's content! We even had the large public bath all to ourselves during our visit.
The Teppanyaki set meal we booked was a good experience, though we wished there was a little more meat.
We specifically requested Japanese-style breakfast when booking, but for some reason, we were given Western-style instead. When we inquired, the staff informed us that it couldn't be changed.
On a very positive note, it was our wedding anniversary trip, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a small gift and took commemorative photos for us – a very nice touch! Aside from these minor issues, everything else was fantastic.
The only real downside was the hotel's shuttle service to the station. While they offer it, the last departure is strictly before 11 AM. If you miss it, you have to take a taxi. It feels a bit inconvenient to offer a service with such a limited timeframe. For instance, we visited the Hells in the morning and ended up leaving the hotel after 11 AM, so we had to take a taxi to the JR station. An improvement here would be much appreciated!
Overall, my husband, who was visiting Japan for the first time, said it was an excellent Japanese onsen hotel experience. He gives it a big thumbs up!

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel is in the hot spring area, a 10-minute walk to Umijigoku. There is a bus stop at the door of the hotel, and the location is convenient. The internal facilities are new and clean, and the rooms are tidy. The hotel staff are also very friendly and willing to help guests. Breakfast and dinner were both plentiful and of good quality. You can have Bungo Wagyu for dinner. The staff would come over from time to time to ask if we want to order more Wagyu. We ate a lot of Wagyu. As a foodie, I recommend this hotel 10 points!
RRaymondo WONGBeppu is an excellent choice. The accommodation is located on the upper floor of a shop. The space is very, very large. The indoor equipment and materials are all high-end goods, and all the necessary facilities for life are available. The industrial style interior decoration does not give you the feeling of staying in a hotel, but rather a home feeling.
If you can only check in after 6 o'clock, remember to ask the boss for the password required for the check-in procedure. This is only the password for entering the store for the first time. There is an iPad on the counter inside. Follow the procedure displayed on the iPad to check in. Then a password to enter your room will be displayed. This password is also the password to enter the store later.
Parking can be done in parking lot 1 or 2 according to the map provided by the store, and there are ample parking spaces.
SSarah H.Beautiful hotel located in a very peaceful and green area with magnificent views of the mountains and smoke from hot springs. The hotel itself has hot springs and baths in a lovely garden. Very nice and spacious room with lots of toiletries available downstairs. Within walking distance of the 7 hells of Beppu.
SStephanie_LThe room is well-equipped but a bit dilapidated, the lighting is dim, and the children said the bed was not very comfortable. From the room, you can see the geothermal smoke all around outside the window, and the scenery is beautiful.
GGuest UserWe stayed here to celebrate my mother's 77th birthday.
The grandchildren enjoyed playing table tennis and going to the amusement park, while my parents relaxed and enjoyed the scenery.
We asked if we could take a family photo in front of the church, and they kindly made the arrangement, which we're very grateful for.
It would have been even better if the breakfast and dinner buffets had more fruit, sweets, and delicious drip coffee.
