Mountain View Hotels in Beppu

After reading other reviews, they were all overwhelmingly positive. Having stayed in numerous hotels, the ANA InterContinental Beppu definitely ranks in my top three. First, let's talk about transportation: Beppu Station is quite small. Remember to exit from the West Exit (this was told to us by the hotel shuttle driver; apparently, many international guests wait for a long time at the East Exit only to find out it's the West Exit). The hotel is about a twenty-minute drive away. Next, the service: What was really surprising is that more than half of the hotel staff are non-Japanese. Every single foreign staff member spoke excellent Japanese, with perfect mastery of honorifics. Finally, the room facilities: The onsen (hot spring bath) is small but beautiful. The infinity pool isn't very deep, making it suitable for children. It was still a bit chilly in March, but luckily, there's a warm pool nearby where you can soak for a while. The restaurant offers great value for money. Children aged 6-12 get half price, which is around 2,700 yen. In the evening, there's an all-you-can-drink option for adults at 5,000 yen, including sparkling wine, house wine, shochu, and beer.

An excellent experience! The beautiful environment offers stunning sunset and stargazing views, making it perfect for large families. Although it's a bit far out, the resort facilities provide everything you need, and there's enough to do on-site to keep you occupied all day. The included breakfast and dinner were plentiful, and the location is conveniently close to Kyushu Zoo and Yufuin, so you can easily add them to your itinerary.

Be sure to set a package with breakfast and dinner! ! When you eat the wall, you have everything you need in the sashimi pot. The price of dinner wine is also very reasonable, and I will come back to 🥹 There is no one in the morning soup pool, which is the treatment of private soup. It is very convenient for the hotel to arrange pick-up and drop-off at Beppu Station by phone.

You can overlook Beppu Bay and the beautiful Japanese garden from the room. The staff is very warm and considerate, and took the initiative to take you to the bathing area. Beppu is an excellent choice. The accommodation is located on the upper floor of a shop. The space is very, very large. The indoor equipment and materials are all high-end goods, and all the necessary facilities for life are available. The industrial style interior decoration does not give you the feeling of staying in a hotel, but rather a home feeling. If you can only check in after 6 o'clock, remember to ask the boss for the password required for the check-in procedure. This is only the password for entering the store for the first time. There is an iPad on the counter inside. Follow the procedure displayed on the iPad to check in. Then a password to enter your room will be displayed. This password is also the password to enter the store later. Parking can be done in parking lot 1 or 2 according to the map provided by the store, and there are ample parking spaces.

The hotel is much better in person than in the photos on Ctrip; it's arguably the best value hotel in the area. First, the room facilities are very new, clearly recently renovated, newer than most hotels in the area. Second, the location is excellent, right in the heart of the town's tourist attractions and transportation hub, offering a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The food is also excellent; I stayed for three days, and the food improved each day. On the third night, they served lobster for dinner, and the guests who were only staying one night were whispering among themselves, assuming we had paid extra for a more expensive meal.

Beautiful hotel located in a very peaceful and green area with magnificent views of the mountains and smoke from hot springs. The hotel itself has hot springs and baths in a lovely garden. Very nice and spacious room with lots of toiletries available downstairs. Within walking distance of the 7 hells of Beppu.

Beppu Kaizan Accommodation Review If I were to summarize my experience staying at Beppu Kaizan, the most impressive thing was the private open-air bath in the room. In particular, the structure of this open-air bath naturally extending from the indoors to the outdoors was truly legendary. When I soaked my body indoors and then went outside, I felt a sense of openness and was able to maximize the charm of the hot spring. Good points ✔ Private open-air bath structure – Hot spring naturally extending from the indoors to the outdoors, allowing for private healing ✔ Large pot provided – Convenient because you can boil water yourself ✔ Location – Approximately 2,350 yen by taxi from Beppu Station (Kaizan will call you a taxi directly) If you want to enjoy a private hot spring in a quiet environment, Beppu Kaizan is definitely a satisfactory choice.

It is difficult to walk because it is a few kilometers from Beppu station, but if you can use the free shuttle bus or the fixed-route bus systematically, you can stay without a car. There is a Family Mart nearby, but be careful because alcohol is not sold. The meal is very delicious with local dishes using Oita ingredients.
