Amazing
HHM NGWe booked a package with dinner and breakfast for two days and one night. Since we don’t eat beef, the clerk replaced the Hell Steamer and gave us a family soup. It was under maintenance and it didn’t have much impact because the room has a private hot spring. Since I didn’t want to bathe outside, I booked a room with a bathroom. The experience was very good and very comfortable. The clerk was very proactive in using Google Translate to communicate and was very friendly. It was a good experience during this trip to Beppu! The only thing is that it would be better if the room lighting could be warmer.
GGuest UserWhat an amazing place! We had a wonderful time “glamping” at the Grand Verde Resort. From first being greeted upon check in till our departure the attention to detail and hospitality were top notch! We especially loved the delicious breakfast and dinner spread, the Public Bath, and sauna, and the hobbit houses. The gorgeous views from our yurt in the mountains were breathtaking and we were able to see millions of stars at night on the clear evenings. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars!!! Highly recommend this place for your next getaway!
AAnonymous UserThis is an excellent hotel. It's nestled on a mountain overlooking the ocean, offering beautiful scenery. The hot springs are fantastic, and they even have private baths available for an extra charge. Dinner was superb; we had Japanese cuisine in an elegant setting. The Japanese chef was very professional, and the dishes were outstanding. Breakfast was semi-buffet style and also delicious. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, very clean, and offer sea views.

GGudongzeA perfect experience, highly recommended!
Very cost-effective! ! ! There are many types of dinner, and I can't finish it at all.
The service to receive guests is also very good!
Although the private soup is a little smaller, each group is 50 minutes, no reservation can be made, anytime you want to go to the front desk, you can go when you are empty.
The big bath is also good, there is an open-air hot spring.
Book a sea view room, you can directly watch the sunrise and sunset in Beppu Bay
Anyway, I went to the hot spring hotel that I wanted to go again!
GGuest UserThe room was spacious, and the mountain view was quite nice on a clear day. The drinks at the dinner buffet were very satisfying, the food selection was average, with snow crab available seasonally, although the steak was of slightly subpar quality.
GGuest UserThis is my second time choosing this hotel! Absolutely impeccable. If you're driving to Fukuoka, I highly recommend this place. The food is great, the rooms are comfortable, and it even has a private onsen. It's a total win! 🫰🏼
RRaymondo WONGBeppu is an excellent choice. The accommodation is located on the upper floor of a shop. The space is very, very large. The indoor equipment and materials are all high-end goods, and all the necessary facilities for life are available. The industrial style interior decoration does not give you the feeling of staying in a hotel, but rather a home feeling.
If you can only check in after 6 o'clock, remember to ask the boss for the password required for the check-in procedure. This is only the password for entering the store for the first time. There is an iPad on the counter inside. Follow the procedure displayed on the iPad to check in. Then a password to enter your room will be displayed. This password is also the password to enter the store later.
Parking can be done in parking lot 1 or 2 according to the map provided by the store, and there are ample parking spaces.
SSarah H.Beautiful hotel located in a very peaceful and green area with magnificent views of the mountains and smoke from hot springs. The hotel itself has hot springs and baths in a lovely garden. Very nice and spacious room with lots of toiletries available downstairs. Within walking distance of the 7 hells of Beppu.
CClean_MartinI've stayed here before, and this time I brought a friend and booked a larger room. It's a historic inn, but the building and decor don't feel old at all. The Japanese-style room has a really nice vibe, and the smell of the tatami mats is so soothing. The room itself is incredibly spacious; I honestly think three or four people could comfortably stay in that one large tatami room. On the top floor, there's a hot spring with one indoor bath, a small outdoor bath, and a small sauna, all using natural hot spring water. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but all the dishes are local specialties or popular items from Oita Prefecture, so you'll definitely eat well and feel full. The downstairs parking used to be free, but now it costs 700 yen per night.
GGuest UserThe facilities are old but seemed to be well-cleaned. We were able to walk to the park and had a lot of fun.
The buffet didn't have a huge selection, but our family enjoyed it and it was delicious.
The hot spring was nice and refreshing, but the deterioration and mold in the shower hose was a concern.
The noise of the golf carts outside bothered me and I couldn't get a good night's sleep.
Although there were some things that bothered me, we had a good time and everyone was satisfied.
I'd like to use it again next time.
