The only incredible thing about this place is the view and the unsubstantiated high price. The workers are nice but do not understand what it takes to actually deliver a five star experience. We visited the main hotel and overheard the gentleman at the check in desk stating he made his final decision and it was no. Sounded pretty harsh as a bystander even toward a difficult guest. Well here it what happened to us. Because our luggage was lost at the airport, upon arriving we let the reception folks who again seemed very nice know since the airport would be delivering it the next day. We asked about it on two occasions, no word after the first day, we decided to go to the airport. This was because it was impossible to call the airport, no humans to talk to and recorded message that just hung up. Because it cost 60 Euro for a ride one way from our hotel my boyfriend walked. It was just over 1 mile. When he got there he was told by airport personnel it had been delivered to our hotel. I tried to call the front desk no answer, so I called room service who picked up right away and asked to be transferred to the front desk and got a front desk human. The hotel lobby confirmed it was delivered and I was told by the gentleman it was on the schedule to be delivered to our room but it would cost 10 Euro. I asked why and was told because they had to pick it up from the airport???? I explained the airport said they delivered it, he said no, they had to pick it up. Then I asked when did you get our luggage he said four hours ago. Ok so I lost it at that point and said, my boyfriend walked to the airport and our luggage was already here, insane. At no point did we ever get an apology, just its on the schedule for delivery. My boyfriend arrive back and went to the reception area and said we want our luggage. The person told him we had to wait for it to be delivered from the main hotel. When my boyfriend stated please drive the car and go get it he said thats not my job its on the schedule. Just then it showed up and my boyfriend took it from the driver and brought it to our room. On our 3rd day we left our room for over 5 hours no housekeeping done even though we requested it as we passed the reception area. Upon returning to our room and finding it a mess I called the front desk, no answer, called room service, got transferred to the front desk and he stated we are very busy, you are on the schedule. I stated that we were gone for 5 hours please bring me clean towels and sheets so I can service our own room. So so so many excuses, just exhausting. Our room cost 900 Euros per night, and we stayed 5 nights and I would never recommend this place to anyone. 30 Euro for a Caesar Salad, tips are expected but service sucks. Do not book this place. Sadly just an overall disappoin**ent in general at Mykonos, expensive and poor customer service.
