"Great location which is easy to find and quiet to stay! We have the 3 beds family room, which is very large enough to accompany all our suitcases! It is the biggest room I have ever stayed in Japan!!!
A bad thing is the washroom is small, and smelly. Also the hotel cannot keep baggage after check out.
I will stay again if I come to Nagano again!"
"They have a pocketgo so translating to your own language is hassle-free. Also the staff were very accommodating.
The food was sooooo good. めちゃくちゃ美味しかった!
And the room I was in overlooked the beautiful mountains so every morning was bliss!"

"The room was very nice - sufficiently large and with all necessary amenities (even a small fridge). The room was clean and in good condition. The staff was very kind and stored my luggage for free, as I arrived early in the morning. The hotel is conveniently located, yet in a rather quiet place. It's a walking distance from both Nagano station and Zenkoji temple (approximately 20-25 minutes), however, do note that the nearest bus stop is about 900 meters away, so if you got a lot of luggage and do not intend to get a taxi, that may be a bit far. They also have coin operated washing machines and dryers, in case you need them. Overall, a great option for most travelers, especially in terms of value for money."

"We used it for the first time. The room was clean and we were able to relax slowly.
The receptionist was kind and polite.
I would like to use it again."
"Due to an older building, the corridor location wall has moldy appearance.
The room is relatively clean, and I feel that the room is more hygienic than the corridor.
The location is just in the mountains, and it feels a bit far from driving.
In terms of service, as soon as you arrive, check in, there are staff to explain the hotel facilities, take you to visit, take you to the room. I have a special dinner for this order, there is a special person to hold the meal and explain, there is a room to sit, a big room, a quiet room. Breakfast will be eaten in the lobby of a restaurant, and there are special people to explain. 2 meals are full and taste medium."
"Thank you for upgrading the room, and thankfully, I was alone, but there was a bed of 2, so it was a feeling.
It was a wonderful atmosphere with a luxury feeling.
The bathroom amenities are cute and cuddly.
For me who doesn't watch TV, it was a little difficult to find a Wi-Fi password 々. When you call the front desk, it will be shown on the TV screen.
The TV is stored in a place like a chest of drawers, and I think that people who do not watch TV will not turn on the power even if they discover it, so I felt grateful if they could leave it on a paper base.
It is difficult to catch a taxi in the morning, so it is recommended to leave with a relaxing departure."
"We were drawn to this hotel because my friends and I absolutely love Chateraise cakes! Conveniently located about an 8-minute walk from Nagano Station, the hotel was easy to find. Check-in was smooth, and the rooms were comfortable and welcoming. The best part was the daily treat of Chateraise cakes offered as welcome treats and during tea time—a delightful indulgence. The hotel served as an excellent base for exploring Nagano, with popular sights like Zenko-ji Temple within walking distance. Overall, it was a wonderfully convenient stay."

Amazing
JJpg.vs.GifGreat location, just 5 minute walk from the JR Nagano station. It has a main entrance and a back door entry way. The amenities were fantastic, room is the average size in Japan, a little small for western standards but it was comfortable. We loved the onsen on the 11th floor and the free use of the massage chairs as well as complimentary Popsicles and Soba at night. The breakfast was also lovely, with a main focus on Japanese breakfast (there were a few western dishes available).
AAnonymous UserGood location and convenient for day trips in the surrounding area, staff is professional and helpful. Rooms are clean and everything what is needed is provided. Can be a bit small for more than one person.
AAinoorConsistent service and offerings throughout the Sotetsu hotels across Japan. You check-in via the machine, pick up your amenities; they have the best and extensive range and go to your tiny room.
Location wise, it is next to a 3-level Don Quijote and connected to Nagano station via the foot bridge on the 2nd floor.
AAinoorLocation is THE best if you are planning to make Nagano your base and take the train to explore the other regions of the prefecture. It is literally connected to the train station on the 2nd floor. Plus there are great restaurants in Midori Shopping Centre which is part of Nagano train station.
SSivanuttHotel is not so bad.
But the breakfast view is amazing with variety of food.
You can see Hakuba mountain view during you take breakfast in the morning.
KKLYSGSGSGHotel service is excellent, room is very clean and breakfast is delicious (Japanese cuisine) .
We enjoy staying there for 8 days, 15 minutes walk from Nagano JR line. If you have many luggages on your way back to Nagano JR station (too much shopping done after the trip 😅) suggest you let the hotel staff know they will book a taxi for you ( only cost JY 900). I had a pleasant stay and fully recharge after a short break. Definitely will be back again. ありがとございますた。
GGuest UserThe hotel located in the area of government buildings. It is therefore very good for business people. They have five restaurants. But because we did not arrange for hotel breakfast, it was a bit difficult to get breakfast around the hotel. But there is a convenient store nearby.
The room was clean. Reception gave us a high floor room with beautiful city view. Appreciate that.
The hotel has three big car parks. Hotel guest needed to pay parking fee of 1000 yen for throughout the stay, which I think is reasonable. The hotel is actually well located - close enough to the sightseeing spots in the city centre.
CcereresI booked hotel for short stay in Nagano. My main reason for travel was visiting Snow Monkey Park and exploring Nagano area, i used room only for sleeping and for this purpose it suited well. It located near station, just opposite side from bus stop to Snow Monkey Park, there is 7elevel just in the building next door. I was kinda sad that i couldn’t use hot bath, but i have tattoos and i expected that. Stuff was nice, i was allowed to leave my bags before check-in, room were pretty small, but this is what you expect from this type of accommodation. Overall can recommend
LLumI very recommend for this hotel best of all, free parking, wide room and the breakfast is the best of what I have before, i would forget and will come back to stay again.
SSophiezlIt was an amazing experience, I'd love to stay there again in the future. Location is extremely convenient to explore Nagano city and to travel. Atmosphere in the hostel also was great, I loved talking to people in the living room.
