Hotels near Etchū-Yamada Station, Nanto

Location next to big shopping mall called a mew. The building is old and the hotel has an old-fashioned retro feel, and it is rare nowadays to have a radio switch by the bedside. You can choose Japanese or Western style breakfast for ¥1000. JR Fukuno Station is the nearest station, but it takes about 15 minutes on foot. There are not many hotels in Nanto City, so it is convenient as a base for sightseeing such as Gokayama and Tulip Park. Unfortunately, there is no large public bath, and the bathroom in the room is used.

Located in the World Heritage Ainokura Village, guests at Choyomon stay in a traditional Gassho-style house. You can have a traditional experience by sitting by the Irori hearth in the lounge. JR Johana Train Station is a 20-minute drive away.The rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Heating facilities and a fan are included in each. Bathrooms and toilets are shared.Japanese set-menus are served for breakfast and dinner. Luggage storage is available and a flat-screen TV is provided in the lounge.Choyomon Inn is a 15-minute drive from Suganuma Gassho Village and Taira Ski Resort. Toyama Airport is a 70-minute drive away.Smoking is prohibited in the village and sightseeing is not allowed in the early mornings or after dusk. Guests must take their own trash home and cannot enter privately-owned homes and fields without permission.

Whenever I come to Gokayama, I am always indebted. Unfortunately, it was raining, and I was happy to welcome Chietsuquin as soon as possible. The inside of the building, including the room, is well-cleaned and clean. Both the open-air hot springs and the hot springs were cut into pieces, and I was able to do it. The food is delicious with local ingredients. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi is unstable in the corner room on the 3rd floor, which is good near the door, but it will be disconnected immediately near the TV, improvement. Thank you again.

There are 3 good points. 1st, the location is very good, as it was walking distance from/to most of the places I wanted to visit. It's about a ~10min walk from Kanazawa Station, so no hassle getting to the hotel when you arrive. It's about ~10-15min walk to Kanazawa Castle (金沢城) and Kenrokuen (兼六園). The Omicho Market (近江町市場) is literally right across the street, so you can easily hop over there to either start or end your day with some sushi. For the more distant places, there are nearby bus stops to get to areas like the Higashi Chaya district (ひがし茶屋街) or the museums. (Though if you prefer walking, Higashi Chaya district is still walkable at about ~15-20mins). 2nd, the room was quite spacious for a solo traveler, as compared to the typical business hotel. It has a unit-type toilet+bathroom, but it was spacious enough that you can change in there (I think it can even fit 2 people at once). The room was very clean and tidy, and since all rooms are non-smoking, the place doesn't smell funny. The room provides complete amenities like the hot water kettle, a ref, and enough sockets for charging your gear. 3rd, the breakfast buffet was delicious. The selection of both western and local japanese dishes made it worth its price. There is unlimited coffee too, which is available even outside the buffet (great for people who can't go throughout the day without coffee). The staff speaks English well, so no worries if your Japanese skills aren't that great like me. All in all, would gladly stay here again if I find myself in Kanazawa :)

Stayed 2 nights 2x family rooms. 2 people per room. Would have felt tight if we were in a smaller room. We LOVED this little hotel. 0 reviews on tripadvisor but tons of positive ones on booking.com under KANAZAWA ZOUSHI. Beautiful design, high quality built, lots of little thoughtful touches for the guests. Functional lighting, an actual cloth drying feature in the bathroom!, lots of counter space. Not in a busy area (plus or minus) and 0 view because squeezed between buildings. But truly, a gem!

The bed in the superior room is very comfortable, the large bath is very convenient and clean, the service attitude is very good, the room is kept very new, the breakfast is delicious, I stayed for three nights, I will stay there again, the location is great, I am happy to go to the seafood market and eat

Immediately from Omicho Market. FamilyMart is also close. Check-in takes time due to the slopes of national support. Especially when the person who is checking in the luggage overlaps with the check-in, the order becomes messy even if it is lined up. If possible, when you leave your luggage before check-in time, you can just finish writing and explaining what you want to check in, and then have them go out, and if you leave the key and luggage when you come back, check-in will be possible. It will be smooth. Also, if you put on the luggage delivery lane and the doorbell, you will not overlap check-in out and luggage storage. The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms are spacious. It is good that the toilet and shower room are separated. The heating effect is good and the bed comfort can sleep well. There are many outlets and it is easy to use. There is an electric control in the room on the bedside, which is good. There is a lot of storage space, and mineral water is free. The downside is that the amount of hot water in the washroom is small and difficult to use. It is good if the hanger rack space is single, but it is narrow and difficult to use if it is double. I want outside shoes to go to the bath. The most painful thing was that there were no chairs at the working desk, so it was difficult to use when writing on a computer at work. Why don't you have a chair even though you have a desk? The refrigerator is weakly cold. The limoncon reaction on the tablet is bad and cannot be used. The large communal bath also has an open-air bath, which warms the whole body comfortably, and there is also a sauna. Some of the locker keys are broken, and when you try to close the key, the keys will be removed. There are about two lockers with the same phenomenon. I had a hard time opening and closing. Breakfast is Western style and many of them go well with bread. Speaking of Kanazawa, some people get tired of Japanese food because it is seafood, so I think Western food is good. I think the content is good. The problem is that the content will not change if it is a consecutive night.

Huge convention type hotel located far from town. 1980’s deco, spacious but well maintained Onsen is clean and spacious but tiled like a swimming pool The convenient shop is large with many souvenirs. Love the local hand-made paper products. Check out the carp mobile! Breakfast is good. Stunning variety but possibly bcos there was a convention ( fr Taiwan?) going on that weekend ( 3 bus full) There is even a ‘church’ in the hotel ground for weddings The rooms are spacious with the usual ammenities I had my clothes washed in the coin operated laundramat in the basement, beside the entrance of the onsen. Convenient and economical. No detergent required and the machine automatically dries the clothes too I would love to stay here again

A great experience, Japanese minimalist style, the hot spring bathing area is small, 4-5 people at most, and free drinks are provided after bathing. It’s not too far from JR station and you’ll pass by a big mont-bell° You can make fragrant wood bags by yourself in the hotel. The toothbrush is made of wood and uses toothpaste paper, which is very special. The hotel is right opposite the market. You can go opposite to eat some seafood and local delicacies in the morning.
