It should be said that it is a small and beautiful boutique hotel. The location is relatively convenient. It is convenient to go down the two blocks to the South Korean city. Then walk to the 5th Avenue and Ilan Ramen. There is a parking lot next to the hotel entrance, although convenient, but expensive, $57 a night. The overall feeling is good, the front desk and lobby are small and very friendly, and luggage storage and other services are in place. There is a swimming pool on the first floor, although it is not big but it is enough. The gym is also on the first floor, but there is a BUG, that is, the sensor light is automatically extinguished in 30 minutes. If you lick the ellipsometer for more than 30 minutes, he will automatically turn off the lights, which is quite scary. The room type I booked is a bit like a service room apartment, there is a small kitchen workbench, the equipment is relatively new, good. Overall it is worth recommending!

We just returned from a wonderful 6-night stay at The Ritz Carlton-NoMad. The hotel is a great addition to Nomad. It is centrally located near Madison Square Park, Union Square and the R line subway entrance is steps away from the entrance. The Executive Lounge is amazing! The food from Jose Andres Group was delicious with many options during their all-day service. The view from the windows cannot be beat. Every member of the Executive Lounge staff went above and beyond to make our stay easy and luxurious starting with David, the Executive Club Manager and the wonderful staff, Juan, Juan Carlos, Yolanda, Wendy, Brenda, Brendan & Shane. They made our stay very special. We booked the Manhattan Club Level Room on the 37th floor. It was spacious and modern, and the Ritz Carlton bed was very comfortable, as usual. The unobstructed view from our room was stunning with an enormous picture window overlooking the city towards Downtown. We have already made reservations for a return stay in December.

”Hip” and ”boutique” has become a metaphor for dirty and unclean. The ”hotel room” was bare bones, dirty, with previous guests used personal toys left behind end tables. The small kitchen was barely usable - no under cabinet lighting, no dishwasher, small fridge, coffee maker dirty and unclean, same for the broken toaster, no dishwashing soap for even the small amount of utensils and glassware. No effort was made to clean underneath the bed; the bed itself sagged. The room view is into tenement like housing (if I wanted a West Side Story experience, I would go to the theater rather than pay for this cheap ...calling it a hotel is a stretch). The balcony is a joke (at worse a hazard (make sure the balcony door is locked.) The corner space between the top mattress and boxspring was dirty, crumbs, dust, etc - clearly had not been vacuumed or cleaned since the Roosevelt administration. Wi-Fi is subpar. Another effort by a non-corporate hospitality company (or whoever owns this dump) to milk tourists who come to New York by renovating whatever this building used to be into a sub standard ”hotel” rooms and skating by on ”location.”

Great location in Midtown, just blocks from the Empire State Building, Macy's, and several dining and breakfast options. Easy walk to subway and even Times Square (20 minutes). Rooms are small, but clean and very comfortable. (We were impressed by how much storage space was available in the room.) Amenities are not fancy (small restaurant with limited options, small gym), but it's an excellent starting point for exploring the city. There was some noise bleed from neighboring rooms, but none from outside.

Amazing hotel in the best area , close to everything . Hotel itself clean , cute cozy. Room is very decent, we see the Empire State from our room , breakfast has hot and cold stuff and to go food if you want for a snack , I loved their coffee. People from reception, breakfast team, housekeeping are decent , helpful and working hard. They hv a cozy cute table downstairs for a drink or the 26th floor which is the top notch to see NY and direct to the Empire State. My only recommendation pls do a deep clean for the carpet in z rooms as we noted stains . I def recommended and will go there again and again

Great location. But the service standards absolutely disappointed. In room telephone was not working and despite repeated complaints it was not repaired through my stay of 4 nights. So basically we had to go down all the way to reception every time we wanted something at the room. From toiletries to food to water. Even the front desk as well as the duty manager simply expressed inability to do anything about it Initially even some of the lights in the room were not working. Clearly one of the worst stays of my life at a big brand hotel All in all a big disappointment

Must talk about it. Hotel location, service and hygiene, not to mention, anyway, generally pass. The breakfast was really good, things were basically the same every day, and I was tired for six days. By the way, breakfast is free to eat, no matter your room rate includes breakfast, just go down to the first floor to eat, no one cares, no breakfast coupons. What I want to say this time is that the hotel's checkout will not be refunded if you charge more! It was a very irresponsible and unreasonable hotel. Later, under the coordination of Ctrip, a part was returned, and Ctrip helped me to pay the rest. Thanks for Ctrip's support! The hotel received $ 162.76, but in the end it charged me $ 413.41, more than $ 250! The pre-authorization at check-in was only $ 187.76, and the front desk had no objection to the pre-authorization account at check-out. The remaining part was charged without my knowledge after leaving. What is the difference between stealing and stealing? And they are all received by mistake, and some fees are repeatedly collected. Later, with the help and coordination of Ctrip, the hotel promised to refund some of the fees that were repeatedly charged, and the overcharge of the front desk staff caused by their own mistakes was 125 dollars, and it was not refundable! Totally rogue behavior! In the end, Ctrip advanced the 125 US dollars equivalent to RMB and returned it to me. Thanks again for Ctrip's support! Once again, please pay attention to the hotel bill when you check out, including after leaving. Here's the thing. I booked the suite room and it was located on the 17th floor. The room was spacious. The carpet was dirty and sticky but I wore flip flops. The bedsheets smelled weird but I didn’t pay much mind to it, assuming that it might’ve just been the laundry detergent they used. Their was something wrong with the pipe in the bathroom toilet, causing the toilet to not flush properly, and ultimately their was a leak in the toilet causing water to go all over the bathroom floors. I called the front desk and someone came and fixed it; along with cleaning the bathroom floors, but the flush was still an issue and wasn’t working properly throughout my stay. Housekeeping and room service is nonexistent. If you want your room cleaned you have to call the front desk. Not enough toilet paper or towels in the rooms, even in the suites. After leaving the hotel, I noticed my entire upper arm was covered in red bumps! I was appalled, and confused as to what may have caused this. Then today I checked the reviews for this hotel and a woman had left a review of the same thing happening to her after leaving this hotel. (She had also stayed in a suite, but on the 16th floor) I went to the doctor and he said that it could just be eczema but not sure; I’m guessing it might not be that, considering that this happened to another woman who stayed in a suite room at this hotel too. This lead me to believe that they either do not wash their sheets, or it’s the detergent they used that may have caused an allergic reaction. So far I haven’t seen any reviews of this happening to people that stayed in any of the other rooms, only the ones that stayed in the suites; so it can’t be the detergent, assuming they use the same detergent for all their rooms. Like I said, the bedsheets did smell very weird and gross. Unbelievable, unhygienic, and unacceptable. Do not stay here!!! The only good thing about this place was the friendly staff at the front desk, the views, and the location. Other than that, it’s very unhygienic and unkept. Fantastic hotel. Very modern rooms and very clean. Cool bar on premise! What made them really stand out for me was their exceptional customer service. The staff were very friendly and accommodating while we were there. A week after I checked out, I noticed I was missing my coat! I called and they had found it and were keeping it on hold. The manager, Jorge, was so patient and helpful in making sure I got my jacket back. This type of wonderful customer service is hard to find today...but you will find it at Hotel AKA Nomad. This is my new ”go to” hotel in the city!

Excellent staff, very helpful the entire stay (reception, facilities service, house keeping, with a special shout-out to Khaoula). Perfect location, in a great neighborhood, with easy subway excess and great food options all around. Great rooms, we had the quietest stay with best sleep here in NY (compared to 5 other hotels during our trip). After checkout, the staff continued to be just perfect hosts, storing luggage until the end of the day and allowing us to freshen up, have a coffee and wait for our taxi (arranged by hotel). Thank you.

Overall the hotel is good. It’s in a convenient location to just about any subway line. However, I found that the service at the hotel was extremely slow. My room was not ready when I checked in and it seems like the front reception is understaffed during the day. There are also only two elevators and it’s a large hotel so sometimes I would be waiting 5-10 minutes to get an elevator down.

This hotel is in a great location in Manhattan - close to Penn station and a host of subway stations. So much of Manhattan is within walking distance from this hotel! The staff was always friendly and helpful, even though the hotel was clearly very busy. Our room was actually surprisingly spacious for Manhattan standards. Yes, this is not the Plaza, but I found our room to be larger than many Manhattan hotels I have stayed at in the past. Our bed was very comfortable, the A/C worked well, and our room was very quiet. The bathroom was nice and again, large enough to not have to do acrobatics when using the toilet. The shower was large as well and we had great water pressure. The room was overall in very good condition and looked nice. The staff was always friendly, professional and helpful and never seemed rushed or stressed out, even though this hotel was obviously very busy and there were always people in the lobby. I can only recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a clean and quiet room in Manhattan.
