"1. It's a shame the hotel lobby was under renovation, it was really noisy (the hotel staff were all great and informed us that the renovation would be from 1 pm to 5 pm, but on some days, the work continued before 1 pm and after 5 pm). 2. The hotel room was quite clean, but there was only one light switch in the entire room, so it was impossible to adjust the brightness at night. 3. The location is absolutely fantastic and super convenient!"

"My overall review of this hotel is that the hardware facilities are perfect, but everything else is mediocre. In short, the pros and cons feel very disconnected. Details below: **Pros:** 1. As it's a new hotel, the hardware facilities are very modern. The style is industrial minimalist with warm wooden furniture – a TV and a bed create a sturdy yet warm overall feel. I particularly liked the space in front of the bed, which was convenient for placing and organizing luggage. 2. Regarding the toilet and bathroom, the toilet is smart, equipped with an LED smart mirror. The overall look is clean and hygienic. 3. My favorite aspect was how comfortable the pillows, mattress, and duvet were – truly recommended! The large bed came with two firm and two soft pillows. Both types provided excellent support, making them very suitable for people with neck and shoulder pain. Although the mattress was firm, it offered great body support. However, the accompanying drawbacks were also very noticeable: 1. The entrance door wasn't clearly marked as an automatic door. For some reason, it had 'Entrance' written on it with an arrow pointing left, making it hard to realize it was an automatic door at first. Its concrete color also easily misled guests. 2. The check-in process felt a bit old-fashioned or outdated. Usually, isn't showing your passport enough to check in? The staff member directly asked for my booking number. Also, because Mandarin isn't my native language, when I didn't quite understand a description and asked the staff to repeat it, there was a moment of awkward silence. Later, when I went for breakfast, I gave my room number to the staff, who then picked up a list of guests to search. If they didn't understand, they could have just asked me to repeat it. Are their service guidelines so strict that they can't ask guests anything? Furthermore, the hotel had sent a message requesting my Chinese name to expedite the process, but I noticed the hotel's information still hadn't been updated. Was providing it even necessary then? 3. Another issue was the relatively small and narrow bathroom space. The smart toilet would open automatically when you walked past it, which sometimes felt really annoying. You couldn't place clothes or other items directly on it; they had to go on the towel rack above. However, the rack had gaps, so small items could easily fall through. I had to use a towel to cover it. The washbasin was also very small, only big enough for two mouthwash cups; anything else would fall off. As for the shower area, it would be just right for children or women of standard build, but it felt quite cramped for men or larger individuals. All in all, it's still a new hotel and has value worth visiting, but what happens later remains to be seen."

"Had a wonderful stay at FJ Victoria Hotel Taichung. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. The location is convenient, with easy access to shopping malls, restaurants, and popular attractions in Taichung. Breakfast offered a good variety of local and international options, and the overall service exceeded expectations. A great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Taichung."

"The room was spacious, and I loved the makeup mirror. The bathroom also had a full-length illuminated mirror, which was a nice touch. The snack and instant noodle area on the second floor was great, and the staff were all very courteous. The bus stop right outside was convenient too. The only thing to consider is that it's not as close to Yizhong Street as I initially thought."

"I had to go on a last-minute business trip to Taichung for four days and three nights. Because I was very busy during the day, I wanted to find a clean and reasonably priced place to stay between Taichung Railway Station and Taichung Park. Since I booked through this trip, my first instinct was to pick up my phone and browse between two options. I finally chose Fu Yi Hotel, Taichung Station Branch. Upon entering, I was struck by its cleanliness and upscale music. The self-service counter was simple, but it was a little laggy the first time I tried it. However, a friendly receptionist came over and resolved the issue. The accommodation felt clean and welcoming. Since I chose a dormitory-style room on the first floor, I was a little worried about noisy roommates, but thankfully I didn't encounter any. I'm grateful to God for helping me find a satisfactory place to stay for my business trip."

"This hotel is conveniently located near Taichung Railway Station and not too far from Yizhong Street Night Market. It seems to have been recently renovated, as both the rooms and the restaurant are very clean and tidy. The restaurant also offers complimentary snacks, drinks, and instant noodles. The front desk staff were also very friendly and nice! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Taichung!"

"I booked this place last minute because it was cheap! It was pretty good and spacious, but the wet area of the bathroom was a bit small, although the hot water was super hot! The soundproofing isn't great... so if you're sensitive to noise, you might want to reconsider. However, the location is convenient; you can walk to the night market👍"

Sharon Inn is located in Taichung and offers free WiFi. The property is 2.1 km from National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and close to many well-known attractions. All rooms in the hotel are equipped with a kettle, a private bathroom with a hairdryer, and a flat-screen satellite TV. The reception counter can provide local tourist information. The hostel is 6 km from Fengjia Night Market and less than 1 km from Zhonghua Road Night Market. The nearest airport is Taichung International Airport, 15 km away.

"The location is very close to Taichung Railway Station, less than ten minutes' walk away. Downstairs you will find FamilyMart and Jiguang Southeast Asian Market. I can only say that you don't have to worry about food, but if you are traveling alone, you have to be careful about safety. There are many homeless people and drunk foreign workers nearby on weekend nights. The soundproofing is very poor, and due to the location, I was woken up by noise from outside for two consecutive nights. There were always guests walking by loudly and making noise. The room was just an ordinary old hotel with old equipment. There was a smell of cigarettes coming out from time to time. The curtains were a very abrupt dark red and dirty. The bed was a bit hard but still comfortable to sleep on. The water in the bathroom was strong and nice, but the shower gel ran out and was not refilled. I didn't meet anyone at the counter but when I called for information, they all had a very good attitude. Access is by room card."
