"Transportation: Located within Zhonghua Road Night Market, it's quite close to the train station and walkable. However, the surrounding environment is very poor; a high-end hotel built there feels out of place.
Service: As a birthday guest, I received two complimentary cocktail vouchers to use at the bar on the first floor. The service was excellent. They require a 2,000 NTD deposit, and if you pay in cash, check-out refunds might take longer. You can store your luggage, and if you need ice, you can get an ice bucket from the 1F bar.
Facilities: Bath towels, bathrobes, and indoor slippers are provided. The slippers had a slight odor, which was strange, but the floor was very clean. The bathroom is spacious, with a bathtub and hairdryer, conditioner, shampoo, body wash, and hand soap. Two bottles of mineral water, a small Coke, and small snacks were also included. The rooftop gym is tiny, and there are chairs on the roof – you *might* be able to see the night view on a good day, but the surrounding scenery is messy and unkempt.
Breakfast: Served from 07:00 to 10:00. It's not large but has everything you'd need. The pork floss tasted a bit odd. There are made-to-order Danzai noodles and omelets. The hot penne pasta and chicken drumsticks were quite tasty, but the food wasn't hot.
This stay was in a 'Super Value Light Luxury Room' with two beds for 3231 NTD."
"The room is huge and includes breakfast.
Water bottles and tea bags are available in the lobby.
Room rates are double during the Chinese New Year period.
The neighborhood is lively, and it's very convenient to get to Yizhong Street.
The downsides are that the rooms are old and there are very few elevators.
So, you need to check out a little earlier in the morning."
"The room was small but well-equipped, and the neighborhood felt quiet and comfortable. It's also very close to Feng Chia Night Market, making dining super convenient. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the price was affordable."
Hotel near Green Park Lane/Calligraphy Greenway,Taichung
"The location is pretty good overall, and the price is reasonable. There's no on-site parking, and it's hard to find a spot nearby. Upon entering, there was a strong musty smell. This might be due to the bathtub being in the room, making it quite damp. If water splashes out during a bath, the room carpet could easily get wet. There was also a noticeable yellow stain in the bathtub that wouldn't come off, which wasn't a great impression. I'd suggest addressing the bathtub issue, and it would greatly improve the experience!"
"The room layout is very good, there is a small balcony, the bed is also very soft and moderate, although bottled water is not provided, but there is bubble water in the public area on the 7th floor (additional points), you can bottle it yourself back to the room! The toilet is small and clean, the sink is a little mini, simple and pure hand washing is OK, but washing your face is not so suitable (water is easy to sprinkle)!"
Hotel near Taichung Railway Station/Miyahara Dessert Store,Taichung
"The facilities are brand new and well-designed (heated toilet seat, hairdryer, refrigerator...). The room was bright, spacious, and comfortable. We stayed in a triple room (7006), and the shower and toilet were in two separate spaces, with the sink outside, which allowed for individual use without crowding. The staff in the second-floor restaurant were incredibly enthusiastic, constantly wishing us a pleasant journey and a Merry Christmas.
The only minor drawback is that the parking lot is diagonally across the street. Because the road is very wide, it takes a while to walk there. You have to drop off your luggage first, and cars can only temporarily park on the sidewalk. If two cars need to drop off luggage at the same time, the second car has to wait, as there isn't enough space."
"The self-service check-in/check-out was very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large TV and a sofa bed. The customer service staff were friendly and handled things very quickly. The lobby also had a free 24-hour self-service coffee machine and cookies."
