"Among Bangkok's five-star hotels, this one offers the best value for money. It has its pros and cons, but the pros far outweigh the cons, making it easy to overlook the imperfections; after all, it's not an Aman or a Mandarin Oriental. 1. **Location**: It's in the heart of Silom, and I timed it – it's exactly a 16-minute walk to Central Park. 2. **Service**: The staff are very polite; someone will always bow to you when you enter or leave. 3. **Room Interior**: Starting from 41 square meters, the rooms are very spacious. Side-facing rooms might have obstructed views and privacy concerns, but you can draw the sheer curtains. The room has a separate, enclosed toilet with a brand new Toto electric bidet – using it is pure bliss! There's a bathtub, and all toiletries are from Divana, a fantastic spa brand in Bangkok, with a lovely fragrance perfect for a relaxing soak. However, the bed linen thread count is relatively low, not uncomfortably so, but not as luxurious as Okura Prestige. There's also a turndown service in the evening, which includes incredibly delicious mango gummies! You absolutely must try them. 4. **Breakfast**: Oh my god, is this really breakfast at a 1000-baht hotel? The à la carte quality is outstanding. Although the variety isn't huge, the stir-fried rice noodles with shrimp I ordered were even better than those at the Park Hyatt! There are fewer dessert options, but they taste excellent. The hot food selection is extensive, and they are very generous with ingredients. The seafood curry was packed with large prawns, squid, and dried shrimp – they really don't skimp on cost. Plus, there was smoked tuna sashimi, which was also fresh and delicious. Overall, the breakfast was extremely satisfying! 5. **Pool**: The pool view is absolutely stunning, and it's a saltwater pool. Since it's newly opened, there aren't many people, so I had the entire pool to myself for a swim! The only drawback is that the pool is quite shallow, only 1.2 meters deep. If it were 1.4 meters, it would be perfect! **Cons**: Many online reviews mention the loud air conditioning noise. It's true! Even on the lowest setting, it's quite noisy, and turning it up just one notch makes it feel deafening. However, I sleep with the AC off. Even then, because I'm a side sleeper, I can feel the vibration from the downstairs AC through the pillow, which is a bit of an unsolvable issue. I ended up buying deep sleep gummies from 7-Eleven. The second drawback is that small flying insects occasionally appear in the room. I think the hotel should be able to address this. I hope they improve it! BUT!! This amazing hotel, including breakfast, is only 1000 baht! Is that even possible? Can they break even? Book your stay soon before the prices go up! So, with this kind of value for money, the minor drawbacks are absolutely nothing. No need to nitpick!"

"This hostel just opened. I was a solo female traveler and the room was clean, as were the blankets, pillows, and towels. It has a key card system, large lockers, and good air conditioning. The room was spacious, and I was able to choose a female-only room. The bed had a thick curtain to block out light, making it feel cozy. Overall, it was great! The reception staff were also very friendly and cheerful. Before you come, remember to bring 500 baht cash for the deposit! 😂 There was a bit of noise from outside, but if you're really sleepy, you can still fall right asleep, haha. I booked it for less than 4 red banknotes (less than 400 baht). Overall, it's very good!"

"The hotel staff provided excellent and warm service. I stayed here for 8 nights. The location is great, just a short walk to the shopping district. Turn right out of the hotel and a few steps further is the Erawan Shrine, then turn right again and a short walk leads to the BTS station, making it very convenient for getting around. The breakfast was also very good with a wide variety of choices, and the rooftop bar was excellent. When I couldn't find my driver for my return journey, two staff members kindly helped me call and search for him. I'm very grateful for their help. I would likely choose Grande Centre Point Prestige Bangkok again on my next visit."

The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. "The room isn't small and the bedding is comfortable, but the constant power outages are unbearable! It's suitable for self-driving and has parking, though finding it the first time with the navigation can be tricky. The breakfast is also good! Overall, it's highly recommended for the price. I even extended my stay for another night."

"Its a nice simpel hotel (mostly *** men) you share a toilet and bathroom with one other person. Bed is good door can be locked. Got 2 big lockers for ur stuff to put inside and airconditioning at the hall (with none in bedroom) gets warm in there. - no warm water showers are only cold. - Small towel but after use you can change for clean/new one. - No protected luggage storage before and after checkin/out. Its on the hall way without labels or numbers to collect. The night market is in the street hard to navagate round 16:00 and 01:00 and unable to reach by car/taxi on that moment. Overall simpel but i would not stay here again because of the warm room and cold shower."

"The hotel is far from new, they just changed the name. The carpeted floors are disappointing – why? The carpet is dirty, and no one has cleaned the base. It’s good that the rooms have laminate flooring. However, this is also a questionable decision, as the laminate is flimsy and sags in places, which is probably why the floors aren't cleaned. This is the first time I've stayed at a hotel where the staff never once entered my room throughout my entire stay – consequently, all cleaning falls to the guest. Towels aren't changed, and tea, coffee, toothpaste, brushes, soap, etc., aren't refilled; water is simply hung on the door. We stayed on the 21st floor, and the elevator was very fast, one second per floor, so we never had to wait. The service staff – housekeepers – only greeted us, they didn't speak. Their main person, May, a very pleasant young lady, apparently solved our problems. The location is extremely inconvenient; it takes over an hour to get to anything interesting. However, there's a market nearby with food and groceries. The hotel is located in a mall building with various shops: clothes, pharmacies, etc. Big C is also in the same building. There are no currency exchange offices nearby, and the hotel doesn't exchange money; a 1000 baht deposit is required. I recommend walking to Festival Center, about 40 minutes from the hotel (the bus isn't faster, with transfers). You can exchange money on the 4th floor, and the center itself is interesting, large, with a Tesco, lots of cafes, restaurants, and so on. The room itself isn't bad, it's modern, with a large wardrobe and mezzanine. The beds are very good, with a luxurious mattress topper, and the linen is clean. We couldn't find the pool; there's no information anywhere, which is usually posted in the elevator about what's on which floor. The view of the abandoned water park, which was probably part of the hotel in its better years under its old name, is a bit depressing. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again due to the location. Bus and metro stops are within walking distance."
