"Overall, the hotel left a pleasant impression, especially considering its location. This small boutique hotel is just minutes from Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet Square, making it a great spot for strolling and exploring the historic center. However, it's important to keep in mind that this part of the city is located on hills, so there are some steep climbs and descents. However, the Bosphorus embankment is just a 10-minute walk away, making it especially pleasant for evening strolls.
I'd also like to mention the staff – they were very polite, friendly, and helpful, always eager to help. A 10 out of 10 for service and attitude.
The room was clean, the mattresses were comfortable, the bed linen and towels were fresh, and they changed them upon request. A kettle, tea, coffee, and toiletries were available. Breakfast was typical Turkish fare, not very varied, but the ingredients were fresh, and bread and tea were always refilled without issue.
On the downside, the furniture was tired: the chairs and wardrobe needed updating, the electrical outlets were wobbly, and the window didn't always open the first time. The biggest drawback was the very small bathroom with a damp and moldy smell. The ceiling vents were also heavily clogged with dust and mold; the owner definitely needs to address this and give it a good cleaning.
Overall, this is a good option for those visiting Istanbul and wanting to be close to the main attractions, but the hotel could use some updating and more attention to the bathroom."
