I booked two nights and could see Dongqian Lake directly through the window. I booked a lake view room. When I consulted the hotel, I was told that the lake view room only had a 2-meter bed. Since we are a family of three (the child is 7 years old), I booked an extra crib. Unexpectedly, after the guest arrived, he made it clear that he did not need an extra bed. It was already past 10 o'clock at night. The extra bed was cancelled, but the bed was not removed. When checking out, I found that the extra breakfast coupon for the extra bed had been used (the child was just over 1.2 meters tall). After explaining the situation, no extra bed fee was charged, nor was the booked extra bed breakfast fee. Very personal service. Absolute five-star service!

The food in the Chinese restaurant on the second floor was very delicious. I wish the breakfast was a bit better. The hot spring area is amazing! With so many different hot springs it's pretty easy to find privacy with your family in friends. The room was clean and beautiful. There is an old village very close by when you can find many souvenirs and food, as well as to experience the spirit of the village walking the small streets aside from the main touristic alley. From the village you can get on a hiking trail and enjoy the beautiful nature around the lake. I will definitely visit the hotel again!

This is a very pleasant little bed and breakfast located on the southern end of Dongqian Lake and in the tourist village Hanling. We stayed there for a weekend getaway. The accommodation we booked had two floors: the groundfloor had a sofa and a huge television (it's capable mobile phone broadcasting!) and the top floor featured a good size double bed and a balcony which I enjoyed sitting in when the sun sets. The rooms are clean and you get the usual amenities. So it's a fine place. I would recommend two improvements: the first is to have stronger aircon on the top floor to keep the room cool (albeit it was 40C outside!); and secondly but most importantly would be to install a bathroom door for some privacy otherwise your room mate is going to see you using the toilet!
