"We were in a hurry and didn't have time to have breakfast. The room is quite big and should be able to accommodate an extra bed if needed. Can take children. The room itself is a double bed + a single bed. A family of three stays, sleeps more comfortably, and does not feel crowded. This is a country resort. The environment is very good. There is a parking lot and you can park."
Located in Adelaide (Christies Beach), Christies No 1 Esplanade is within a 5-minute drive of Port Noarlunga Reef Sanctuary Zone and Port Noarlunga Beach. This guesthouse is 13.1 mi (21 km) from Glenelg Beach and 1.6 mi (2.6 km) from Port Noarlunga Jetty.
Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 6 guestrooms. Bathrooms have showers and hair dryers.
"Good value hotel, high quality service, hotel has very good chef, barista, bartender, high quality and reasonable price dinner, barista is very very friendly, offered to make us free coffee, hot chocolate And also send a variety of snacks. We asked to adjust the room, the computer was out of order, and we waited for a while. The hotel staff offered us a free dinner and told us to order whatever we wanted. It was a wonderful experience to have a good Irish band performing every Wednesday night at the hotel."
"The room and hotel were lovely. Reception staff were great and coffees from the bistro were well made and tasty. I only had a very quick overnight visit to Adelaide, and really only used the hotel as a place to sleep. Bed was comfortable and room was large. I believe that public transport is nearby, but did not use it or have any chance to explore the immediate area. As far as I know the bistro/coffee shop is the only added feature the property offers."
"This is my second time to stay at your hotel. Very spacious. Excellent breakfast, big portion. All of us cannot finish the whole breakfast. Highly recommend."
"The location is excellent, right by Glenelg Beach. Supermarkets and restaurants are just a 5 to 10-minute walk away. Getting to Adelaide city center or the airport by car takes only 15 to 30 minutes.
The hotel features a bar where you can enjoy a drink and some gaming facilities if you fancy a few rounds.
While the hotel is a bit dated, it's clean and the rooms are spacious.
Breakfast was average, with limited food choices, although the view from the breakfast area was quite nice.
The paid parking isn't in the hotel building itself; it's across the street, a mere 30 steps away, so be prepared to carry your luggage."
"Hotel is only a month old when we stayed, it still had that formaldehyde smell if you are concerned. We got a free upgrade to supreme king. There was some markings on the bedding being a new hotel, but it was comfortable with a balcony. Remember to inform reception before 9am if you want housekeeping, which is a bit early for a beach side hotel. The major concern was noise. It does get very noisy at night with the balcony glass not being double glaszed. There is also free parking after 5pm if you are able to find a spot."
"Very nice place to stay. Great location etc. My only criticiscm is the tv is fixed to the wall nownere near the beds, so you cant watch tv in bed, and, the double couch was just too small and cheap an uncomfortable frankly. Definitely in need much better bigger comfy couches in the rooms."
