We stayed for 5 nights in the X-Alp hotel during our summer holiday/honeymoon. Everything was perfect! The staff helped us to plan our daily activities and they're extremely friendly and helpful both in the reception and in the restaurant. The spa section was tastefully decorated and a perfect ending for an active day on the mountains. The breakfast wasn't so versatile, but you find every morning something to fill up your plate. The best thing in the breakfast was the cake table with several different tasty pleasures. Kiitos, kaikki oli erinomaista! :)

Bar server if you can call him that. Paolo. Total chip on his shoulder ruined our Christmas Day after a lovely dinner at Snetonstube. We thought we would have a lovely after dinner drink for Christmas. So many many lovely spots in Ortisei like Gardena Grodnerhof and Sotriffer and wine bar and costa mula! Don’t go there and spend your money Paolo obviously hates America and Americans. Sad. Paolo is rude and sad And god forbid you show up in the bar from Another hotel he will make it known you are NOT welcome. He chastised us for sitting down and for serving us free Prosecco even though we said we would pay for it. It was a managers reception and we did not know that walking in. Unwelcoming and don’t go into this hotel if you are not a hotel guests. The bar was empty and he literally told us “YOU ARE NOT HOTEL guests here. My New York City travel agent will love this feedback. Paolo is doing this hotel a complete disgrace disservice.

The Florian is a chalet on a grand scale backing onto a large garden with (unheated) swimming pool and many restful nooks. The rooms are comfortable and modern, those at the front having magnificent views of the Alpe di Siusi, and those at the back looking out on the garden. There is a road in front of the hotel but the traffic is not frequent enough to be disturbing. Breakfasts are ample and dinner a splendid parade of the best in Austro-Italian cuisine, with a good list of wines from nearby and other Italian regions. The waiting staff are efficient and pleasant, with excellent memories enabling them to anticipate your wishes after a day or two. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the centre and much quieter than most hotels in the town. A shuttle bus (number 5) stops right outside the door and goes straight to the cable car station in less than 10 minutes. This is a family hotel so expect a number of children among the guests. A thoroughly enjoyable place to stay, preferably for an unhurried long week-end or week in the Dolomites.

The Gasserhof is a wonderful hotel! I stayed there for 10 days for hiking in the local mountains. The room was beautiful and the facilities were clean and the staff were very friendly. The meals were excellent as well! My only concern is I was there during a heat wave and there were no fans in the rooms. I would absolutely recommend!

I was alone in this hotel for two nights.. very easy to find and close to everything. Very clean and modern hotel. Great room.. cleaning, furnishing.. top.the bed ... crazy! a dress that encloses you all night. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable. Super recommended. Our group of 16 stayed at Millanderhof for 4 nights. It was half board, we had breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. The hotel is centrally located and is very convenient. The rooms assigned to us were of different sizes and layout, but most were spacious and with big balconies. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean with good hot water supply. Choices for the buffet breakfast were sufficient with fresh fruits served. The included dinners worth special mention. The menu changed daily and consisted of 3 to 4 courses, plus a green salad bar. The soups and food were delicious. This is a family run business, the service was excellent. The owner Markus was there all the time, he is humourous, friendly and very helpful, and was keen to make guests feel like home. He did, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We will certainly come back again if we were to visit the Dolomites in the future.
