Hotels Near Honshinji Temple in Osaka

An official Universal Studio hotel located within Universal City. This hotel is right next to the train station but without the noise from the train. The bed is firm and comfortable. It has ice machine and microwave on every floor so it is convenient to buy those ready meal from convenient store for a meal in if you are feeling tired after a whole day out in Universal Studio. There are many restaurants within Universal City as well. The hotel provides free supper with soft serve ice cream, hot dog with curry in the evening. The only item missing is the washing machines and onsen.

Superb location, the only other hotel I want to try in the area would be Park Front, given it is really at park front. Wide dining selections in the adjacent malls. Good customer service, we were greet by the Korean young man (Joohan was his name I think), who speaks very good English and was very helpful to arrange our left luggage to be brought into our room when ready. Love to come back, if their female onsen can really be restricted to female only... Have seen different mothers of unassociated families, bringing their non-toddlers boys into the ladies onsen... This really makes me felt awkward and really embarrassed.. , especially more these boys keeps looking at females in the lockers, shower, onsen area. Not sure why their mothers didn't noticed or care to tell them off.. Sigh!

This hotel has a lot of advantages to the guests. First, its location is very near to the Universial Studio. The guest just takes 7 or 8 minutes to get there. Second, the room is relatively bigger than other hotels in Japan and the room is more suitable for the couples or the parents with 1or 2 children together to live in. Third, the hotel put some cartoon figures at the entrance or in the lobby, and people would find it so interesting to take pictures. Fourth, the hotel has many good facilities, like the supply of ice, water and locker, etc. That's why I think its service is so satisfactory.

Hotel is at the entrance to Universal, you can also buy tickets to the park at the hotel lobby. Great hotel for families. Probably the best location after having a long day at universal park you can come back to the hotel within minutes from leaving the park gate.

Excellent location and short walk from the train station. We took the exit at the Singulari Hotel & Skyspa down and cross the road to reach in less than 5 mins! We took the train from Nijo to Kyoto to Osaka then change to Osaka loop line to Nishikujo and from there to Universal city station. It's a long & twisting journey. But we made it with all our luggages and the kiddos. The check in was a breeze. Amenities are self-help at the check in lobby. Room is good & breakfast are excellent!!!!! Hope to be back again ~

Had a fabulous stay here, room was clean, staff were friendly, and breakfast spread was decent. Its a short walk to USJ less than 15 minutes. The queue starts as early as 8am, be there early and get express ticket if you want to enjoy all rides. We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you!

My family of five stayed in two twin rooms and one single room. The price was very cheap and it was convenient because it was close to Universal Studios. There was no one there at check-in and check-out, so it was great that I could enter the room without stress by just receiving the key. There was one thing that bothered me. When I entered the twin room on the first floor and walked 4.5 steps in my slippers, I found a lot of hair on it. I think it probably hadn't been cleaned because I found hair on it as soon as I entered. There was a mirror right after I entered, and I think the previous person probably used a hair dryer there. Anyway, there was a lot of hair on it, and it seemed to have gotten on my socks, and it got on the bed, and it was very disgusting... Other than that, the bathroom and bed were clean, and it was cheap, which was good. It seems that other rooms didn't have that problem, so I feel like they forgot to vacuum the room I stayed in. Communication by email was smooth and polite.

However, there is a free ice machine at the front desk. You can only boil water and add ice. I only take out the trash and don't tidy the room. Laundry costs 400 yen. Pajamas are provided, but there is no hot spring. It is not suitable for this hotel at all. There is no wardrobe. Three sets of thick and useless pajamas have to be found by yourself. In fact, it is the same as toothpaste and toothbrushes. You have to go to the front desk to carry them first. Conclusion: You need to book the Universal Studios Station Hotel in advance. The price is actually not too expensive. If the price of this hotel is acceptable (less than $1500 a night), don’t miss it.

Clean and new hotel. Able to survive an earthquake!!! Room was very spacious and toilet was comfortable as had a separate area for shower, sink and wc. Nice view as we were on the 50th floor. Could see all the way to Osaka Aquarium. Staff were friendly. Hotel is well connected (sheltered) to JR and Chou lines which are linked well to all parts of the city. Many convenience stores and bakeries nearby.
