A very good experience, it was exactly what I was searching for and I tough to stay one day more but price is changing for the same room on Saturday night, like double price. Other strange thing for me is the check in time, like everywhere in Japan. Amazing hot spring but the entrance need to be paid a part and the great view of the city from the water is blocked from a cover on the window. Staff is amazing, very professional and helpful. Thank you 🙏🏻

This is our fourth time staying at Monterey Le Frere and still everything was up to our expectations. The only drawback was that the rinsing cup in the toilet was not cleaned properly and also the public bath had a smell to it, but the daily customers they served daily is of high capacity so may have overlooked a little and still acceptable. The breakfast was fantastic as usual and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend to any one coming in town.

Great location close to the JR station and many subway lines. Short walk to Umeda entertainment district. The rooms are small but clean with everything that you need. My roon also got pitch black once i closed the doors covering the window so i was able to sleep like a baby. The coolest part of the hotel for me was the old school elevators with the smooth floor indicator.

The hotel's location is convenient, adjacent to a large shopping mall and supermarket, which is highly accessible. The only minor issue is that the television cabinet was a bit dusty and could use better cleaning, but this does not significantly impact the overall satisfaction.
