Amazing
MMengmengmamaChoosing InterContinental Osaka was hands down the smartest decision I made! The location is absolutely phenomenal! A shopper's paradise! Major malls and flagship stores are right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient to get all your favorite items in one go! The rooms are incredibly spacious! In Japan, where space is a premium, the InterContinental's rooms feel like a true luxury. We booked a king room and even added an extra bed, and it still didn't feel cramped at all! The bathroom was also large and bright, and being able to lie down and gaze at Osaka's vibrant cityscape made it absolutely worth it! The service was exceptionally thoughtful! From check-in to check-out, every single staff member was polite, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. The front desk, housekeeping, concierge... even the parking and luggage storage services were absolutely faultless! When checking out, they even proactively offered to weigh my luggage. The most delightful surprise was when a staff member wished me ”Gong Xi Fa Cai” in Chinese – it felt so incredibly welcoming! It truly proved to be a brilliant choice to stay at InterContinental Osaka! Next time I'm in Osaka, I'm definitely booking this place again!

DDangdixiangdaosumetzhaoxmThis five-star hotel, with over 30 years of history, is nestled between Hankyu and Umeda. The doorman's service was excellent, truly making guests feel at home. We booked a quad room with two generously sized beds. The bathroom was quite spacious, and compared to other hotels we stayed at in Japan this trip, despite the slightly older toilet, it was still very good overall. The hotel service was great, and housekeeping was thorough. There are several restaurants to choose from within the hotel, but just across the street, along the subway line, there's a fantastic food street with many small eateries worth trying.

TTangxiyunI highly recommend opting for the Executive Twin Room. The size and layout are much more suitable and comfortable. The standard room feels a bit lacking, haha. 😂 A big thanks to the Trip.com customer service for helping communicate with the hotel and resolving my issue!

YYingzhengHotel Nikko definitely deserves a great review from me! The overall quality control, service responsiveness, and efficiency are all excellent. For the price, it's incredibly good value for money in Osaka. The hotel itself is very spacious, and it's just a short walk to Daimaru department store. On the day I checked in, there was a minor issue with the curtains. I reported it to the front desk, and they promptly sent someone to fix it at the agreed-upon time, which was a nice touch! The only slight drawback was that the lobby baggage attendant wasn't very smiling, but everything else was fantastic!

MM765968****The hotel has a simple and clean style, and the environment and hygiene are also very good. Most importantly, the room size is a bit larger, which I'm very satisfied with. The front desk staff were very courteous during check-in and check-out. The hotel's location is excellent; there's a Hankyu Oasis supermarket downstairs, and Lawson and 7-Eleven are not far away. The subway station is also very close, just a three-minute walk, and it's only two stops to Shinsaibashi. This three-day trip to Osaka was fantastic, posted from Tokyo.

BBinjiangfengguThe Swissôtel Nankai Osaka boasts an excellent location right in the Namba transportation hub, offering easy access to the subway in all directions. It's surrounded by commercial centers like Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, and Takashimaya is directly across the street, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Just a heads-up for first-timers: the entrance is actually inside the Nankai Namba Station building, so keep an eye out for it. Breakfast was also quite good.

MMiqixiaofantuanComing from Tokyo, I thought I had the Shinkansen system down, but Osaka Station definitely taught me a lesson! I got lost as soon as I exited the subway, and we only found the hotel because my husband could read the map. I'd highly recommend taking a taxi if it's your first time in Umeda and heading to this hotel! However, once we got our bearings, we realized the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Osaka Station is just 200 meters across the street! Hankyu Station and Umeda Station are also nearby. Within 500 meters, you'll find the Umeda shopping district: Hankyu Department Store, LUCUA, LUCUA 1100, Daimaru Department Store, Yodobashi Camera, and Hankyu Sanbangai are all in the vicinity – a shopper's paradise! The best part is the time-saving aspect; if you buy too much to carry, you can just drop it off at the hotel and head out again – plenty of time, haha. Most importantly, it's also quite close to Universal Studios Japan. A 17-minute subway ride from Osaka Station makes it incredibly convenient. **Service:** While I didn't find any staff who spoke Chinese, they were very friendly towards Chinese guests. My basic English was sufficient. You'll need to pay the deposit with cash or a Visa card. **Accommodation:** Since the price is a bit higher than the Shinsaibashi area, the rooms are also larger. This is the biggest hotel room I've stayed in Japan, and the accommodation was excellent and very clean. The only downside was that the hairdryer had very weak airflow and was loud, making it a struggle to dry my hair.

AAnonymous UserThis is a real gem and excellent value for money. It’s in a great location, near to public transport and with plenty of cafes and bars in the area. All the staff, without exception, were delightful. Facilities are really good - great selection of toiletries, great shower/loo, free beer every day 18-19:00, room service etc. Breakfast was excellent and good value. Would recommend.

GGuest UserThe good stuffs. Easy accessible location and Conveniently located from airport and shopping districts. The room is big in Japan standard and fit comfortable with family size of 5. The onsen is excellent and very clean. There are some special events outside and tour guide around the area. Room and floor is quite quiet. The bad stuffs. The neighborhood around the area is not very nice and felt unsafe. There is extra cost for onsen which i felt should be included in the price. For a family of 5 all in one room with 1 toilet is not as great.

VVinzy NgGood hotel with spa with mediocre services.  The room was neat, clean and feeling new.  However, staffs are not familiar with English, not even talking Mandarin. Using the translator with poor voice input was troublesome and sometimes it interpreted wrong meanings. Room service if missed will not be provided again on that day. Also, there were many spa-only visitors simply lying on the spa floor.  Parts of the male spa were under construction and one night there were no 40 degree Celsius or higher pool as they were all under cleaning at the same time. The ground of the spa was very slippery, mostly because many visitors did not bother to rinse themselves well after using the conditioner. The breakfast buffet is good in terms of food choices and environment. But I dislike the scrambled eggs, which had a texture tasted awful.
