YYuexin IrisBefore my trip, I was torn between the InterContinental, W Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and The Park Hyatt, but I ended up choosing the InterContinental, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel upgraded my room, and both the view and the size were fantastic. The hotel's location is impeccable, right above Grand Front Osaka. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by major shopping malls like Hankyu, Daimaru, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, and Lucua 1100, all connected by walkways. From gourmet food to shopping and trendy brands, it was incredibly convenient. Having such a spacious room in Japan is a rarity. Our upgraded room must have been nearly 100 square meters – incredibly roomy and practical, complete with an oven, induction cooktop, and a double-door refrigerator. The bathroom featured a bathtub and Byredo amenities; a soak with the hotel-provided bath salts instantly melted away the day's fatigue. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of choices, including Japanese cold dishes, Oden, and Western desserts, all with meticulous attention to detail. From the concierge to the front desk, every staff member demonstrated professionalism. At check-out, they even proactively helped load our luggage into the car and confirmed the address with the driver in Japanese. Plus, there were many staff members who spoke Chinese. The only minor drawback was a noticeable smell of disinfectant when returning to the room each day, but it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Whether it's for shopping, comfort, or service details, this hotel will definitely be my choice again on my next visit to Osaka!

XXiemimiThe hotel view is absolutely fantastic, offering a great cityscape of Osaka. From the better room types, you get a direct view of a large area of Umeda, including the train station. The decor is European style, though it feels a bit 'knock-off' – like a fake European imitation. The details don't hold up under close inspection, and the cleanliness is noticeably not as good as in Tokyo. They're very generous with amenities, providing a lot. Breakfast is à la carte, suitable for those who enjoy Western breakfast; I found it pretty good, and the bread was quite tasty. There was a musty smell in the room, so overall, it didn't feel very high-end. The bedding was also quite ordinary. Its strengths are definitely the view and the value for money.

AAnonymous UserThe room was incredibly spacious. Although it was listed as 22 square meters, it felt even larger than a typical Hanting Premium room in China. We could easily open two suitcases without them getting in the way at all. The bathroom wasn't those integrated, plastic-y types; both the bathtub and shower fixtures felt quite high-quality. The bed was a bit small, I'd estimate around 1.6m (but for two people, it's fine if you don't toss and turn much). The hotel has two communal laundry rooms, costing 500 yen for a wash and dry cycle, which was very convenient. There are also vending machines where you can buy drinks anytime. The room had a small window.

AAntinuoyaThe hotel is conveniently located right outside Sakurajima Station. The environment is nice, and the two main highlights are the hot springs and the breakfast. I soaked in the hot springs for four days straight, it was incredibly relaxing! The breakfast quality is excellent. We were traveling with my elderly mother, so we bought breakfast for her. She could sleep in, then enjoy a good meal before heading out to explore, which really helped her stay energized! Walking to Universal Studios isn't too far either, about a 15-minute walk, which is perfectly acceptable.

XXiaoxiaoxiaoxiaolaotouThe hotel's location is convenient, about 1km from the commercial center's Daimaru and Hankyu department stores, and around 600m from the subway station. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the staff are enthusiastic. Breakfast is well-organized with orderly queuing, though the variety of dishes is just average.

CcartrinaSeeing comments about La Mer toiletries immediately made me book this hotel. The location is unbeatable, super convenient. It's right opposite Shinsaibashi Daimaru, and directly connected to the subway and a shopping mall underground. The hotel service was excellent; we got a free upgrade to a 3-bed room. The hotel lobby is quite elegant, but the room itself needs a bit of a critique. With three beds, it's definitely a bit cramped, although the sleeping area was spacious. The curtains were showing their age (see photo), but since we were on a high floor, the view was good. The bathroom felt a bit old, and there was an occasional sewage smell from the drain.

GGuest UserHotel Granvia is in a superb location, just a few minutes’ walk to Osaka Station and Umeda Station. It takes only about 15 minutes to reach USJ and under 20 minutes to get to Namba, which makes getting around very convenient. The room I booked was a little too small, and I regretted not choosing a bigger room as there wasn’t enough space to open my luggage comfortably. This was my own oversight when booking. The room also did not have a heater, so on colder nights I had to turn off the air-conditioning. That said, the view from the room was awesome. My advice would be to book a larger room to enjoy the stay more fully. Overall, there are no complaints about the location.

QQiAbsolutely loved this hotel ❤️ ☀️: The room curtains effectively blocked out the morning sun, the bedding was soft, and there was a choice of two pillow types. 🛁: The bath was wonderfully relaxing, and their foam facial cleanser was so impressive I even took a photo of it to buy later! 🪥: I brought my own toiletries, so I didn't check theirs. I also didn't get around to using the self-service laundry room on the fifth floor. ☕️: If you prefer to stay in, you can make pour-over coffee in your room. Or, you can head down to the lounge on the L (Lobby) floor for a drink. 💁: A staff member at the front desk spoke fluent Chinese, and the check-in process was very efficient. 🚇: The hotel has excellent public transport links, there are plenty of supermarkets nearby, and the area felt very safe at night. 👍 Would definitely recommend to friends.

LLizzie_8181Excellent location above Osaka Takashimaya, linked to Namba Station directly by lift. Getting to the hotel was abit confusing using google maps until we figured it out. Overall their location makes for ease of shopping & convenient offload the bags in the hotel room. The check in desk was very professional & the bath tub was European size (we booked twin beds). Of the 3 hotels that we booked in Osaka (&Here Namba, Universal Port Vita, Swissotel), Swissotel was the only hotel that could read & execute our consistent requests to push the twin beds together so our toddler could sleep in the middle. Thumbs up for their professionalism. There was also a pair of kid slippers laid out for our kid. There is a friendly hotel bar (free entry, subject to opening hours in afternoon) on level 9 that allows one to play retro video games like Mario & board games etc. Our kid throughly enjoyed their hotel bar games. As Swissôtel is a business hotel, there is no water pitcher in the room & no ice dispenser room. The toilet is a combined one-room facility. However, the rooms are quiet, the water pressure is great & everyone slept really well. Thanks Swissotel

__WeChat20061****The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk right next to Osaka Station. Umeda offers plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. For those coming from Kansai Airport, simply take the limousine bus, get off at the second stop, and it's only a 7-8 minute walk to the hotel. I absolutely love this area and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.
