"Good old Meridian. Although there were some old parts and changes in amenities, I thought it was the best hotel in New Caledonia. The service of the hotel staff is good, and the garden space is well maintained and the greenery is lively. I didn't eat breakfast this time, but I think I do it properly every time. "As it was a direct flight from Japan, I couldn't go to Maitre Island on the same day, so I only stayed for one day, but it was very nice. I arrived late on a Saturday night, but when I asked the receptionist, they booked a taxi for me from the hotel to the ferry terminal for the next day. As is typical in France, all hotels are closed on Sundays, but the hotel staff found me a taxi and I was able to get to the ferry terminal early the next morning."

"Staff and hotel are very accomodating during a time when the airport was closed and tourists required to stay longer than intended. All of the staff were friendly, greeting you with warmth and doing all the can to look after you. Hotel in a very good location. Very short walk to the beach and restaurants. Pharmacy and mini marts nearby for any supplies as well. I hope to come back to Noumea one day and would gladly stay at Le Lagon Hotel"

"The location was great, with the ocean right in front of us. WIFI is free for 24 hours, and there is a fee after that. There are many restaurants in Long Beach, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat."

"I used it for 2 nights from the arrival night of Noumea. You can walk to Marche in about 5 minutes and Cocotier Square in about 10 minutes. The rooms are simple and clean. Amenities are only hair and body soap, so it is better to bring them with you. In addition, there was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room, so I could warm up and eat what I bought at Marche, supermarkets, and food trucks. They were very helpful in arranging a taxi to Magenta Airport. You can't see the sea, but it's convenient before walking around town or going to remote islands. The staff is kind and I would like to use it again. thank you very much."

"Good communication with the hotel prior to arrival. I had an early morning flight and the staff booked my transfer to the airport which Inpaid for upon my arrival. The room was clean and tidy and was well stocked with coffee, tea and hot chocolate."
