Holiday Inn Paris Opéra - Grands Boulevards, an IHG Hotel

The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful, he helped to arrange an early checkin so we don’t have to walk around with the luggages. The stay at the hotel is a pleasant one, the bed and bathroom are comfortable, and the neighbourhood is friendly. Highly recommend.

The hotel facilities are new, clean and comfortable, the staff are warm and friendly, and the location is very good. There are many delicious restaurants, cafes and bars at the door. It is a good choice to walk to the Sacred Heart Church at night to see the night view.
Holiday Inn Paris - Gare de Lyon Bastille, an IHG Hotel

Stayed in this hotel twice and was generally very satisfied. The hotel is very close to Gare de Lyon train station, which is convenient for travel. The Le Marais area near Bastille is very beautiful, with many interesting small shops and restaurants. The hotel breakfast is good. The room is clean, there is also a kettle for boiling water, and the bed is very comfortable. There is a small street on the left side of the hotel that is very beautiful, which seems to be a place for taking photos and checking in.

Except the room is a little small, everything else is great. In addition, maybe hotels in France don’t have slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste. The location is excellent. There is a subway station and a supermarket downstairs, and it is within walking distance of the Parc des Princes Stadium. Breakfast is also available.

Let me first say the conclusion. If you have to stay in this hotel, you must make a note not to ask for a barrier-free room on the first floor. I arrived at the hotel at 9 am for check-in. I thought that there should be many rooms to choose from so early, so I didn't specifically ask for a room. I stored my luggage and came back at night. As a result, I came back at 6 pm and was given one of the only two barrier-free rooms on the first floor. It was completely facing the street, side by side with the fire escape and public toilet. Thinking of the reviews I have read on Ctrip, almost all of them gave barrier-free rooms. It is hard not to feel that it is discriminating against Chinese people. The front desk said that there was no room to change tonight and I could only change the room tomorrow, but I saw on Ctrip that there was still the same room type that night, and asked the manager to come out to deal with it. The manager still said that there was no room to change. I asked them in return, did they give me this room because I was Chinese? They said that this was a standard room for them and there was no discrimination. However, the toilet in the barrier-free room is completely different from other rooms. There is no light on the washstand, and because it is facing the street, it is so noisy that I can't sleep at all from early in the morning. The most ridiculous thing is that they said they didn't discriminate against Chinese people. At night, I heard the people next door chatting, and they also spoke Chinese. There are two worst rooms in total, and they were all given to Chinese people. I stayed in this hotel for three nights and didn't see other Chinese people, but this hotel can let Chinese people stay in this terrible barrier-free room. In short, the stay experience is very bad.
