Hotels near Palais de la Découverte in Paris

The premium quadruple room is newly renovated and had huge comfortable bathroom with bath tub and separate shower room and wc. The quadruple room had a king bed and a queen sofa bed. When the sofa bed is opened there's no room to walk. The main lift broke down one the day we checked out. Luckily there are other smaller lifts nearby. Breakfast was very good with sausages bacan boiled eggs and many types of pastries, cereal, milk, juices and coffee. Very convenient location.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. The location is unbeatable as far as distance from many historic attractions. For the price of the room ($700) it is quite expensive as the room is simple, as are the amenities. Most of the hotel staff were friendly. Check in and check out went smoothly. When I went to ask about a power adapter, the person I spoke to was short and rude with me. My partner is French and everyone was more friendly with him and willing to help.

This is a classic boutique feeling European hotel. The rooms are very small but we found space for all our clothes and items for the week and tucked our suitcases out of the way. It's a relatively quiet area at night. The water pressure and water temp was amazing (one thing I struggle with at European hotels a lot!). Great area to get where you need to go, Paris is huge so you end up taking uber/metro/bus no matter where you stay. There's a wonderful chocolate shop and a couple of cafes just around the corner but the star is the tiny market across the street that has just about anything you would need. Please remember this is a 4 star hotel not 5 star. If you want a 5 star hotel, go pay 5 star prices. The front desk staff was amazing, I listened to one speak 3 different languages helping all of the guests within about 5 minutes. We had a great week ans would definitely return to this hotel.

I am setting the cheapest classic room, I don't recommend it to everyone. Room size: The bedroom section is very small, similar to a domestic budget hotel Room facilities: All hotels in Europe do not have a double bed, even if it is, it is very small 2 double beds together, so there is no difference between the single bed and the single bed. Room lighting: The lighting is very dark, the socket is very small, you must unplug the line of a desk lamp to charge the phone or computer Room layout: Simple can not be simple, there is no feeling of a boutique hotel Room beverage supply: This may be the only extra point, the drinks in the refrigerator can be drunk, while the capsule coffee machine provides (4 capsules per day) Sound insulation in the room: Very poor, similar to a domestic budget hotel Bathroom: The baffle is very low, the water is easy to splash on the floor after bathing, and all European hotels do not provide toothbrush and toothpaste, please bring your own Breakfast: This is a commendable, very comfortable environment and the quality of the breakfast is not bad. In summary, this hotel 2410 yuan a night price I think it is very unworthy, if it is a business trip, it is recommended to live 4-5 star hotel, if it is a private tour, it is recommended air B&B, this so-called niche design I really can't compliment the hotel. Of course, this room type representing the 2nd building I live in may be more general, and the room type of Building 1 may be better. I don't know why so many soft papers recommend this hotel. Now I use my personal experience to advise everyone not to live. Unless you are a designer or an artist and feel like going to worship a work, you can try it out, ordinary tourists or business trips, and definitely not recommend it.

The hotel's entrance is not obvious, but the location is very good, very close to the Louvre, Lafayette is not far away, go out to the shopping street, there are Giorgio Ar***i, Louis Vitton, Chloe, Celine and so on. The hotel bathroom and bathing area are separate and the facilities are modern. Some rooms can accommodate an extra bed. Breakfast is Western food, good quality, if you can have a little Chinese food, after all, there are quite a lot of Chinese people. Wenhua's service is as good as ever. Going to Paris later is still the first choice.

We just returned from a fabulous stay at the Peninsula Paris and our time there was so special that I feel compelled to write this review. This is a top-notch hotel that goes above and beyond to make your trip unforgettable. Let's start with the staff - Rana at the front desk, Nicholas and Paul at the concierge, Jose at the valet, Volica in housekeeping, and Imran as the greeter (to name a few, but certainly not all) - are the kindest, most helpful and amazing people I have ever come across. They not only made our return there so good, but they also left an impression on our 7 year twins that they soon won't forget. The concierge was able to get us coveted reservations at some of Paris's hottest restaurants and boutiques. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The food was unreal - the daily pastry basket at breakfast, the dumplings at Lili and the chocolate - are all a must!! Me and my husband have traveled a lot, stayed at many fine resorts, and this is truly at the top!

Facilities: good Hygiene: very good Environment: It is relatively close to the subway station, and the Carrefour supermarket is only 50 meters away. The surrounding houses and streets are typical Parisian features. Service: When language communication is not smooth, the front desk will take the initiative to provide translation software for translation.

This is a wonderful hotel to stay. The location is perfect for any trip you planning in Paris. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful. They speak several languages. A free coffee machine in the room was a wonderful thing to have. Overall it was a pleasure to visit this place.
